Any guesses?
Yes! You guessed it right!
We have the creator of Mr. Might Kabir Raichand and our sweetie pie Rivaah Varma!!
Please welcome *dramatic pause* SkWookie
*claps*
Please have a sit.
*author sits*
Ohkay! So, without any further ado let's get started!
1. Username: SkWookie
2. Real name (if you don't want to disclose it's ok):
Siddhi Gajanan Kadam
You have a very beautiful name.
3. Age:
19
4. Where did you get inspiration to start writing?
I was always a fan of storytelling. I just decided to pen my thoughts down when I found Wattpad.
5. What are the things you do in your leisure time?
I read. (Obviously). Also, I can dance. Television, You Tube and Kdramas.
Another kdrama fan!! Hi-fi girl!
6. What is the first work work that you wrote in this platform? What was the response that you got from that work?
The Player.
This was the first book I wrote on Wattpad. And there was no response. Literally, apart from my own vote (which I still do lol) there were hardly 3 to 4 votes throughout the entire book.
I haven't read the player , but i have read The Heartbreaker and the Healer. And they are absolutely amazing!!
I love Kabir! *looks and Kabir and sighs dreamily*
Rivaah : Say what, potato!? ** while sharpening her knife**
*clears her throat nervously *
Moving on.
7. What is your prospective about teenage?
I'm a teenager myself so I guess, live life to its fullest. I mean, I'm bound by rules at my home so I know how much freedom matters. So if you're a free bird, go and enjoy life. But focus on your studies too.
Wow! You have some deep and great thoughts.
8. Is there any particular genre which you love to read?
I love LGBTQ. Also, RomCom. And Historical Fiction and mystery. But historical fiction here are so cringe and the best ones are already a part paid stories. So no luck on Wattpad.
Totally agree! We really don't have good historical fictions on Wattpad. You can write one in future.
What say?
**Looks at everyone**
Do you guys want her to write a historical fiction? Raise your hand if you are with me
9. What are your favorite book either on Wattpad or outside which you read in one go or found them interesting?
Jane Austen (I'm assuming everyone knows her.)
BL_Love.
AvaViolet
Suganthii
Pride and Prejudice.
Fault In Our Stars.
Call Me By Your Name.
Obsession.
She's With Me.
A Loan Of Five Rupees.
The last three are Wattpad so you can read them.
Yayyy! I have a fellow Jane Austen fan here! I love her works.
And A Loan of Five Rupees is such a cute story.
10. What is the first thing you see when you first glance at the book?
Cover. Obviously. A good cover grabs my attention instantly. Also, a good title. I'm not throwing shade on anyone, but there are literally some titles worthy to be a whole sentence.
Agree! Good cover always grabs attention instantly.
11. What do you value the most in your life?
My family.
Money. (I'm being practical here so don't judge me.)
Education.
Writing.
That's great. Why should anyone judge you? You are being practical here.
12. What do you want to achieve in you lifetime?
My mother has been through a lot. And by a lot, I mean A LOT. So a beautiful house for her in a city where she was born. And of course, become the best website or graphics designer. And then if life allows, may be publish one of my book in paperback.
Aww! I wish and pray that you dream comes true.
13. What ways did Wattpad helped you? Did it help you increase your potential?
It did. A lot actually. I was a SSC student, studied in a local English medium school so although English is my third language I could hardly speak. Wattpad taught me alot. I know Wattpad has its own dark and cringed side, but Wattpad is really a good tool for beginners. At least it proved right in my case.
That's great!
14.What are your expectation from readers?
Nothing. I mean I would definitely like if they vote or comment. But that's it. Keeping expectations means getting sad if they're not fulfilled. So I'm fine as long as they (readers) read and enjoy my work.
Yes! Totally agree to that.
15. What do you enjoy being the most a reader or an author?
Both. Music and imagination is such a deadly combination that I get thrilled everytime I write a new chapter or read a new book.
Oh! So that's you secret recipe. ha? *giggles*
16. since how many years are you using Wattpad?
Since June 2018.
17. Any short message to teenagers like you.
Uhm, don't hold yourself back. A character in my book said and I Quote, "Time is a very powerful magician. And it plays tricks very smartly." So don't waste your time in planning things, because it doesn't take a second to flip everything upside down. Go with your guts. Don't wait for the right time, for the moment you decide this is it, is the right time.
I AM INSPIRED! That was deep. Wow!
18. What do you think plays major role in teenagers life? Society or friends?
I would say you, yourself play a major role in your life. Society teaches you norms and customs, and friends in a way shapes your life to be either a better version of yourself or worse. (Depends on the type of people you hang out with.) So stop, think, think again and decide what sails your life towards the destination you want to achieve. Let it affect you and not society or friends.
Totally agree to that!
19. Is social media good for teenagers?
Now this is a typical debate topic. Is social media a blessing or curse! Every social media platform has its dark side so it's in your hand which you want to associate yourself with.
Yes!
20. Most of the teenagers make friend in online platform. Do you think it is good or bad?
Depends. But I'll say stay away from online friends. And if you feel the person you're friends with is really a genuine one, then please run a background check before opening your life story in front of them.
Yes. I mean, what kind of person is siting behind the screen we don't really know. So, it us who should be careful
21.How do feel giving us interview? Do you want us to improve in anyway or give us suggestion?
Refreshing. I got a chance to filter my thoughts and look deep in some matters.
It was wonderful interviewing you.
22. You can ask me anything related to me or about our community?
Why did you choose me? I'm not very popular on Wattpad. And I'm not being humble, if anything the number of my followers will tell you how honest I am.
Girl! You deserve it. You're just underestimating yourself.
Ookhay! So, with this we conclude our interview.
We will see you guys next time, with another amazing teen author.
Till then
Byeeeee...
*bows down*
*curtains closes*
*snaps her finger and vanishes*
