@NerdyWriter101
Hey all here I am back with a teen interview. Without wasting anymore time let's get into the interview.
Username :
2. Real name ( if you don't want to disclose its okay!)
- Sara Abbood!
That's a nice name.
3. Age :
- 16
4. Where did you get the inspiration to start writing?
- I started in 3rd grade. I began listening to songs and making short stories around each song. Soon I got into longer chapter books, but writing was a little hard since English wasn't my first language.
That's really great and good to know that you have started writing in such a small age itself.
5. What are the things you do in your leisure time?
- Read, cook, write a bit, or play video games! I'm a huge gaming fan.
~ oo wow interesting
6. What is the first work you wrote in this platform? What was the response you got for that work?
- I actually wrote something like The Dragon Games on my first account! It was about a girl who found a dragon and was automatically entered into an arena type battle. She trained her dragon and fought it in inhumane conditions...I didn't get very far, not surprisingly. Back then I wrote for fun and had no outline. Now I think through every chapter before its written and how it can help my plot and characters. But this format isn't for everyone and its perfectly okay to write without structure! Whatever makes you comfortable and helps write more.
That's cool. Everyone has their own strategy in writing.
7. What is your prospective about teenage?
- Its hard to be a teen in todays world. Between ridiculous expectations and trying to survive highschool, I don't really have much time for myself anymore. I think finding a good balance with work and free time is important.
Yes,I totally agree with you.
8. Is there any particular genre which you love to read?
- As long as its fiction, I'll read it!Although, I do love a good post-apocalyptic book a tiny bit more
That's nice!
9. What are the favourite works either on wattpad or outside which you read in one go or found them interesting?
- Oh gosh the list never ends! A series that really stuck with me on Wattpad was TGGBB (The Good Girls Bad Boys) the fandom is honestly amazing and the book covers hard to talk about situations like bullying and coming out as a LGBTQ+ member. Outside of Wattpad, the Percy Jackson series is by far one of my top favorites. The amount of representation in Uncle Ricks books really makes everyone feel included, and I enjoyed seeing that in books as a kid.
Wow.! That's really a long list.
10. What is the thing you see when you first glance at the book?
- The title! If it's something catchy, funny, or mysterious, I'm all over it. The blurb on the back is really the push that gets me to buy it.
That's nice.
11. What do you value the most in your life?
- The friendships I've made. I couldn't have done it without their support
Friends are the best support anyone can have.
12. What do you want to achieve in your lifetime?
- Honestly? I'm not sure yet. I want to get into a veterinary school and become publish my first book. Once I pass those milestones, maybe I'll travel.
That is nice. All the best 👍
13. What ways did Wattpad help you? Did it help you increase your potential?
- Not really, whether on Wattpad or not I'm always writing. Wattpad is a great tool for connecting with readers and getting discovered though!
14. What are your expectations from readers?
- Being a reader I get thrown into a whole new world and a different adventure every time.
Being a writer, I get to create the stories I wish I were the main character in.
That's good.
15. What do you enjoy being the most a reader or an author?
- Nothing really! Just enjoy the book I guess.
That's what every author feels.
16. Since how many years are you using Wattpad?
- Four actually, since I was 12.
17. Any short message to the teenagers like you.
- Just work hard and you'll get where you want to.
Short and sweet message ☺️
18. What do you think plays a major role in teenagers lives? Society or friends?
- Depends on the person. I don't care much for society's thoughts, but I do for my friends.
👍👍
19. Is social media good for teenagers?
- Everything has a little good and bad. I think social media is great for getting thoughts and ideas to other people but it can cause crippling doubt and self confidence issues. I have lost a friend to suicide and seen someone get bullied on Instagram and Snapchat. Just be careful about who you talk to.
That's true.
20. Most of the teenagers make friends in many platforms. Do you think it is good or bad?
- Its good to meet new people and hear about their experiences.
Yes!
21. Few words about our community.
- They're really supportive!
Thank you

We will take that into to consideration. Thanks for suggesting
