4. Where did you get the inspiration to start writing?

My inspiration was when I realised the pure excitement I felt when I write, this was at the age of 12. I realised that many things in life will disappear but my words will forever be mine. J. K Rowling was also an inspiration! When I was 12, I entered a short story competition and my story got published! That’s when I realised, that maybe I can be an author!!!

Well, that's exactly what I think too. Words which we write stay with us,sometimes people may or may not but our words would never betray us.

5. What are the things you do in your leisure time?

I read, write, bake, experiment with ingredients, make cards (ie birthday cards!), make covers and I’m always telling stories!

Wowww. It's good to hear that you have baking skills too.

6. What is the first work you wrote in this platform? What was the response you got for that work?

My first book is “hidden within”. I saw that I had a write option so I thought why not! At first, I was the only reader, I’d read my work myself and then I realised that the increasing reads were just from me XD I reached 30 reads and stopped. When I met my first reader, I was literally over the moon! I remember being nice to my brother that day which happens in rare occasions.

Happiness crosses boundaries when such things happen right?

7. What is your prospective about teenage?

I think teenage is the age to explore. To explore, you don’t have to travel and do crazy things, you can just write! I don’t see writing as a passion, I see it as an adventure, I can go wherever I want and be whoever I want. Sometimes I decide to be a certain character and put more emphasis on the specific character. Teenage is the age you won’t get back, it’s the age where you won’t be blamed for making a mistake. I believe sometimes social media stops us from being teenagers because we are constantly worrying about what others think; that’s one of the reasons why I’m not on any social media platforms other than wattpad.

8. Is there any particular genre which you love to read?

Mystery and thriller.

9. What are the favourite works either on wattpad or outside which you read in one go or found them interesting?

I LOVE maze runner series, divergent, defy the stars, Harry Potter, the list is just endless! On wattpad, I love too many stories too! There’s “why me” by anokonda and “Miss prime minister” by Authoress, like I said, the list is just endless!

10. What is the thing you see when you first glance at the book?

Memories! What I read sometimes depends on how I feel, every book I’ve read holds an important personal memory.

11. What do you value the most in your life?

Family, friends and education come all together on the same level.

12. What do you want to achieve in your lifetime?

I want to be a neurosurgeon! I also want to be an author! I really want to study maths and English literature as well as biology and chemistry!

13. What ways did Wattpad help you? Did it help you increase your potential?

Wattpad gave me hope. It gave me hope that I can be an author before the age of 18. I’ve always wanted to be an author at 18 and by 25 a neurosurgeon. It definitely increased my potential!

14. What are your expectations from readers?

the only expectation I have from my readers is that they enjoy what they read!

That's every authors expectations. Every author works hard to make the story interesting for their readers.

15. What do you enjoy being the most a reader or an author?

both! Sometimes I’m too lazy to write, sometimes I’m too lazy to read, but I’m always doing either of them.

I know even I am lazy at times hehe.

16. Since how many years are you using Wattpad?

3 months and 12 days!

17. Any short message to the teenagers like you.

never forget: “somewhere, something is waiting to be discovered.” And you will find it, just look a bit more carefully!

18. What do you think plays a major role in teenagers lives? Society or friends?

I think it’s society in general. Society builds these barriers and sometimes they can be built  between friendships. However, friends make a person who they are so this is an argument that I could sit down for hours and discuss (I do love debating!)

19. Is social media good for teenagers? 

in my opinion there should be a balance. Like in physics, if there’s no equilibrium, it won’t work. Yes social media has its negatives, but it has helped so many lives. I’m personally against social media, I just believe it’s time consuming and right now I can’t afford to waste time. If I’m being honest to myself, I fear social media would change me. I’m an outspoken person who loves learning! I have no clue what so ever when it comes to celebrities which is why many people tell me I live under a rock, but look at the bright side, when there’s a storm or hurricane, I have a rock on my head! I believe every negative had a positive just like square minus five, regardless if you square negative five or positive five, you get the same answer. That’s also like a coin; there’s two sides to it, but at the end of the day it’s a coin!

20. Most of the teenagers make friends in many platforms. Do you think it is good or bad? 

I think it’s great! Yes there’s that danger element, but I myself have made friends whom I start my day by saying good morning to. Yes I don’t know them, but that’s where trust comes in. Friendship should be built around trust, but I know now a days that’s not always the case. I also think you should be careful when making friends, but sometimes, there’s this gut feeling that tells you that the person on the other side is your friend, there’s nothing wrong with that! Just don’t share personal info!

I honestly enjoyed it! I’ve sat here up and till 1 am completing it XD in terms of suggestions, I don’t have any now but if I do have any I’ll know who to contact!

what inspired the beginning of this community and what’s the purpose you hold?

The thing which inspired me in setting up a community for teenagers is seeing the world around me. I am personally a teenager and as they say only a teenager can understand what a teenagers goes through. I have seen most of the people in teenage going in a wrong path or being misdirected. I wanted to abolish the thing and help teenagers with proper guidance and support. The reason I chose this platform is we have teens here mostly. I wanted to start from here. When change starts coming in a person then he or she will inspire others also. That's what I want.
