Myself Aarushi Singh, a 17 years old teenager 😊

Oh nice, quite young and talented you are.

So Aarushi where do you get the inspiration to start writing?

I am a daydreamer, always lost in the thoughts, wandering in my own imaginations and cherry on the top, a bibliophile. Being a literature lover, I was quite full of theories so decided to try them here.

Well your stories are very famous, that means you made the right choice.

So what do you do in your leisure time?

I write stories , poems or quotes in my leisure time, sometimes painting and a crazy dance round on Bollywood dance numbers are also a good option. 😆

Or lost in my mind 🙂

So I saw that you were on Wattpad for quite some time. So which book was your first book as an author? What were the responses you got for that work?

It was a story Cute But Violent. I started it amidst my boards exams to relax myself. For one month or so, I didn't have any specific audience, only my best friend was the one to read what I had written. But after that a girl came, LuckyCharm. She used to do a lot of comments and used to say that I will have a number of readers one day, I just used to update, not for my almost nil readers , but for myself. Many times I thought to stop but I kept telling myself that maybe this book will not give me anything but it will build a character within me to never give up. And gradually I acquired a modest number of readers.

I started another book The Crowned Prince while continuing earlier and TCP proved to be a turning point for me.😄

Currently I have taken down Cute But Violent for now in the middle as I was a bit confused. I will be back with it soon with an improved plot.

Yup the crown prince is very famous. It's so motivating to see your success and your never giving up attitude.

Continuing, So you are in your teens, what is your perspective about teen-age?

Well, teenage is a very beautiful and tender phase. Full of changes, both physically and mentally. Your mind opens up to many extent. You started seeing things with a new perspective but your mind can lead you two both, bad way or good one. Just you need to control yourself on some points, don't let in for something that feels wrong in the name of adventure. Think properly and then do anything. That's it. You are ready to go.

Perfect? No I have my own share of flaws.And what are human beings without any imperfections? 😊

So you must be a reader too, on Wattpad and outside of it. Right?

Is there any particular genre which you love to read?

Thriller, humor, historical fiction, adventure and romance are my most favorite ones.

What are your favorite works either on Wattpad or outside, which you read in one go or found them interesting?

Falling for husband, Life Set hai, Cafe chit, A pull of destiny, Lavanya: the queen of Maheshwari, Alpha Ryan, etc.

And outside Wattpad, I am more of a reader who read old writing pieces of Premchand, Bankimachandra Chatterjee, Rabindranath Tagore, Ruskin Bond, etc. I am still new in the world of modern writers.

Cool, So what is the thing you see when you first glance at the book?

Of course the title and it's preview and second comes the meaning hidden in cover of the book. According to me a cover is like a summary of story itself.

I would really love to know what do you value most in your life?

Of course my parents or should I say my present with my parents. Both of these means a lot.

Okay so what would you like to achieve in your lifetime?

To get my dream job and make my parents proud. Make my parents happy with my achievement, and keeping myself happy and calm even in tough situations.

You'll definitely get your dream job and lots of happiness.

Would I be wrong to assume that Wattpad has been a life changer, right?

Yepp, totally life changer.

Our readers would be happy to learn about how Wattpad help you. Did it help you increase your potential?

It surely helps, once you start writing, you start gaining experience and you came to know about your shortcomings and your readers also helps to improve yourself.

Yes, true.

Then what are your expectations with your readers?

I just want them to support me further, just like they did or do. And also forgive me if I even been rude to them, however I try to control my words and actions genuinely.

Any short message to all the teens like you?

Nothing, just keep patience and maintain a control over your mind and body. Mild depression is very common in this age, just be strong and confident, enjoy every little moment. Most important, LOVE YOURSELF.

True loving yourself is really important. So now we are towards the end of our interview.

I would really want to know some of the major points for a teen as many of our readers are teens and would get high motivation from words of an author so well known.

So please tell me what do you think play the major roles in life of a teenager? Society? Or family? And why?

Both, basic environment of family determines how one behaves with the society and the atmosphere of society builds ups the thinking of person further.

True, very true.

So today's teens are very active on social media. As it is because of meeting technology from the young age or be it for covid-19.

That's why we would like to learn what you think, is social media good for teenagers?

Of course it is good for us, but we need to handle it carefully. Many times, we face many creeps here, but what we need is presence of mind to tackle the situations.

Yeah true, that's what about my next question is,

Most teens make friends on these kinds of platforms. So what do you think is good or bad? And why?

Even I am one of them. Lol. 😂

It's not bad about making friends but again, you should be careful. Talk to your online friends to your hearts content but always think of your safety first.
