Volume 1 of Renaissance 2.0 has five books or parts. It concerns human augmentation by natural and other means.

Volume 2 concerns the rise of the robots and all forms of Artificial Intelligence and their increasingly testy relationship with the Renaissance types.

In Volume 3, despite all efforts at reconciliation, including various attempts to merge both species, all-out war ensues between the two camps.
