So some things that have happened lately.

1) Homestuck updated again

davejadekat is probably canon and terezi is looking for vriska which is all i needed to be happy

also john being unfulfilled is both sad but also really interesting and unresolved character arcs mean M O R E  H O M E S T U C K 

it will never end

2) nanowrimo is 6 days away

fuck 

i still haven't made that non-digital cover i promised a certain someone

i'm so dead 

please read my book even without the cover

last year we netted like eight reads a chapter and everyone pretended to give a shit

it was lit as hell

3) i feel better

i can't be unhappy when i'm creating. how could i be when i'm doing the thing that makes me feel most alive

4) i miss you guys

i should miss you more probably i mean i really barely check but i can't wait to have actual notifications again i miss the rush of updating

This is a character whose name I haven't quite decided on for Roses and Thorns. She's a beekeeper which makes Anassa very angry because she's not allowed to be a librarian but they have a beekeeper 

Everyone assumes they're friends because the bees pollinate her plants but no they definitely aren't also once Anassa got stung and blamed it on beekeeper dog friend here

The Glade is a really great place to live there's suffering and bees, 10/10 would recommend

I have it on the backburner, don't worry. I'm certainly not letting it go to waste. I've just been playing with some other ideas (speaking of which)...

this is Adam and Will Rosenbloom, they're twins from my new pet project (read: addiction) called Deja Vu. The story is basically that there are two apocalyptic scenarios going on at once and two astral deities have each chosen a pool of heroes to Save The World (good times good times)... so Will gets chosen for one and Adam gets chosen for another. They can't tell anyone about this whole thing so both of them are trying to get these double lives worked out and they're so busy with it all that they don't work out that their twin is going through the same thing... whoops 

Adam's group (Team Alpha) is also fighting this horrifying cultish group called The Sanguine Council while Will's (Team Omega) is basically fighting this joke of an antagonist, so one of their plotlines is really hardcore and the other is memes and good times

trying to draw myself is fun kind of 

she's a hacker and she'll boss you up 

Nyx is a codename and she's from another story of mine called Project Thundercloud which I think might be an actual thing so I'll have to change the name

basically amateur coder gang wars and superheroes and supervillains and stuff

man i love urban sci-fi/fantasy can you tell? because i'm writing like eight of them

this one will probably never come to fruition because i don't know enough about computers tho

Anyone have that one character they're obsessed with? I mean it never lasts long but while I'm working on this (don't tell anyone! I'm supposed to be planning my nanowrimo but i swear i'm doing both kind of sort of) Evan Drake (whose appearance fluctuates save for 'inherently unfriendly yet endearing' and 'messy hair') is totally that one character. He has this really awful awful arc going on and it's really fun to write and I'm worried I'll actually write this story one day so I can't spoil it now...

but then again I might NOT write it so if I don't share it now I'm going to move on and I'll never get this idea out of my head

ugh why is the rest of the cast for this book so underdeveloped they are making it very hard for me to write

Evan's superhero (I guess? I never really came up with a name for the individuals in the group) form. They get like a full scale magical girl transformation for now but I haven't figured out how transformations work so 

anyhow his powers include supersenses, wicked claws, and pyrokinesis

basically anything a dragon can do... but he can't turn into a dragon

he's really salty about this 

TEoM is "The Existence of Miracles" and this is another another book. This one is about a time traveller who can't interfere directly but is trying to save one of their best friends from dying and must send her letters across time to try to prevent her from ending up where she did 

Luminous Fishbowl and Lucid Dreamer, the characters from stories that Aren't Developed and No One In Them Has A Legitimate Name

Vast is this weird psuedo-fairy tale thing (think the Cinder series but with less of a clear influence) where the main character's parents are told she will die young by a renowned fortune teller (like everything they've predicted has come to pass for decades, completely legit and yeah magic exists in this world to some extent) and when they press for details, the person remarks that they will die while touching the ground.

So her parents put her on A SPACESHIP

Last doodle! Hemera is from A Dolor, the tentative name for a story in a universe where magic is produced from the manipulation of human emotions- the strongest of which is pain. She's either an assassin, a bounty hunter, or just a renegade agent of some kind, but all around she could probably kick your ass
