Date: November 23rd, 1942

Location: Hamilton Army Airfield, Novato, California

A couple days had pasted since teams RWBY and JNRP were captured by this unknown military from the new land. The two teams were kept in one decent sized cell together so they could still talk to one another and there weren't any other ceils big enough for the group. The group was given food for meals so they wouldn't starve by the soldiers who worked on the base. However, the two teams in training were wondering what was going to happen to them.

Jaune: What do you think they are planning to do with us?

Ruby: I don't know Jaune, hopefully nothing bad.

Blake: I don't think they would do that.

Weiss: What makes you say that Blake?

Blake: Well, they gave us food and haven't tried mistreating us.

Yang: That is a fair point, Blake.

Pyrrha: It still makes me think what those soldiers are planning.

But as they sat on the wood benches in their cell the metal door then opened Revealing three men one in what looked like a dress uniform while the other two were in a regular uniform but with the letters 'MP' on their helmets and on a badge on their left sleeve.

The two teams then stood up on their feet as the soldiers entered the room with the one in the dress uniform holding a clip board in his hands.

Dressed soldier: Who are the leaders of this group?

Jaune and Ruby slowly raised their hands and the dressed soldier took notice of this.

Dressed soldier: You two will come with me.

Ruby: Why?

Dressed soldier: To be questioned, now follow me.

The two team leaders then followed behind the dressed soldier with the two MP's keep an eye on the other teammate to make sure they didn't try anything. As the two leaders left the cell the two MPs soon followed with the last guy closing and locking the cell door behind them. Yang then had a concerned look on her face as her younger sister was taken from the group and that didn't go unnoticed by Blake.

Blake: Yang, she'll be alright.

Yang: You think so?

Blake: They didn't look like they wanted to fight.

Yang: I'm just worried about her.

Blake: Don't worry, I'm sure she'll be alright.

Back to Ruby and Jaune...

The two team leaders were lead into a small room with a three chairs and a metal table in the center of the room. Jaune and Ruby sat down on the chairs closest to the back wall of the room and the dressed soldier sat down on the other chair on the other side of the table. The two were a bit nervous as they didn't know how this whole thing would go. Jaune was more on the nervous side as Ruby not too much as she has been in a situation like this before.

Ruby: What do you want?

Dressed soldier: Just to ask some questions, and if you answer them truthfully then, maybe we can clear up the mess we've gotten ourselves in.

Jaune: Who are you exactly?

Dressed soldier: Sargeant Andrew Grant, US Army, who are you two?

Ruby: Well, My name is Ruby Rose.

Jaune: I am Jaune Arc, and we are students at Beacon academy.

Andrew: Beacon Academy? What's that, a school of some kind?

Ruby: Its the school in the kingdom of Vale to help train huntsmen and huntresses.

Andrew then took note of this on his clip board.

Andrew: What are huntsmen and huntresses exactly?

Jaune: They are warriors trained to fight dark creatures called Grimm, along with other threats in the world.

Andrew: So, wait where did you say this school was?

Ruby: In the Kingdom of Vale.

Andrew: Kingdom? Your ruled by monarchy?

Jaune: No, why would we be?

Andrew: Just wondering, and would this kingdom be apart of the land that popped up in the middle of the pacific out of no where?

Ruby: Well yes, have there been other reports of plots of land appearing from out of nowhere?

Andrew: A few others, one near Australia, and a couple more in the Atlantic Ocean.

Ruby: I guess it wasn't just Vale that got Transported.

Andrew: What are you talking about?

Jaune: Well about a week ago people all over Remnant were going off how a bright light in the sky was seen around the world and then all of a sudden we are here, where ever here is.

Andrew: Do you not know the name of the planet your on?

Jaune: What do you mean?

Andrew: This Planets name is Earth, not Remnant.

Ruby: Who names a planet after dirt?

Andrew: People who live on earth, that's who, By the way Ruby how old are you?

Ruby: I'm 15 years old, why?

Andrew: Aren't you a little young to attending a school that trains warriors?

Ruby: Hey, I wanted to become a huntress and I sort of got moved up two years by the headmaster.

Andrew: The headmaster got you into his school?

Ruby: I sort of impressed him when I stopped an armed robbery at a dust shop.

Andrew: Really? You stopped a robbery?

Ruby: You'd be surprised what I am capable of Sargeant.

Jaune: She does hone some good skills sir, I've seen her in action myself.

Andrew: Is that so?

Ruby: Also, why did your air force threaten to shoot us down if we didn't cooperate?

Andrew then heavily sighed as he knew they were going to ask that question.

Andrew: Miss Rose, Mr. Arc, I'm not sure if you two know this but we are in the middle of a war right now.

The moment the word 'war' left the Sargeant's mouth the two were then shocked a bit.

Jaune: A war sir?

Andrew: Yes, and the United States only recently entered it.

Ruby: How big of a War?

Andrew: The whole world is at war Miss Rose, the Nazi's have been taking over land masses in Europe while the empire of Japan is trying to take over Asia and the Pacific.

Jaune: Why?

Andrew: My guess is that the two big empires want to take over the world and dominate it, and they aren't nice people at the moment.

Ruby: How long has it been going on for?

Andrew: Over three years now.

Jaune: Three years?

Andrew: Yes, the world isn't exactly perfect right now to go exploring, and it seems your plot of land that popped up just made things a bit more complicated.

Ruby: How so?

Andrew: Because if the Japanese know about your kingdom, chances are they are going to want to invade it.

Ruby: What? Why?

Andrew: They want to take over the entire planet, and they think they can do whatever they want.

The two team leaders then looked at each other and shared a concerned look before turning back to the soldier.

Jaune: Well, what if you and your allies had more help to win this war?

Andrew was a bit taken back by what the blonde teenager just said to him.

Andrew: What do you mean by that?

Jaune: Well, if our kingdom was transported here chances are the others are on this planet now too.

Ruby: And I'm pretty sure your enemies are going to find out the rest of the kingdoms on your planet and are going to want to take over them, if that is what you say their motivation is.

Andrew was a bit surprised at what the two teenagers had said to him.

Andrew: Do you two know the headmaster in charge of your Academy?

Jaune: Yes, his name is Ozpin.

Andrew: Would you by any chance have anyway of contacting him?

Ruby: Well, I'm pretty sure our scrolls could still reach him from here, despite a low signal.

Andrew: Okay maybe we could work something out, get your headmaster over here to talk over an agreement with our president.

Ruby: I think we can do that.

Andrew: Good, we'll let you and your teams out of the cell but if want to go anywhere you will have to have a couple of our MPs with you at all times.

Jaune: I don't see a problem with that.

A little bit later...

Back with the teams in the cell they were beginning to worry a little bit about their team leaders as they now have been missing for quite a while. But all that worry then went away as the cell door opened revealing the two team leaders with the soldiers behind them.

Andrew: Alright on your feet all of you.

The two team then got to the feet and gave the sergeant their undivided attention.

Andrew: I've had a bit of a chat with your team leaders here and came to an agreement that your not a threat to us.

The group was relieved after hearing that, now knowing they would be okay.

Yang: So, happens now?

Andrew: Well, Ruby is going to contact your headmaster to meet up with our president, we have alright informed the higher ups in Washington about this development.

Weiss: Washington?

Andrew: It's our nation's Captial city.

Weiss: Oh, well what are we supposed to do for the time being before our headmaster gets here?

Andrew: You guys are allowed to look around the city and surrounding area, but you must be accompanied with MP's.

The group looked at each other as they understood why they had to have an MP with them as they had exactly gained the US full trust yet.

Ren: What about our belongings?

Andrew: Those will be returned to you, but you must keep your weapons unloaded and on your backs at all times.

Blake: I suppose that makes sense.

Andrew: Now all of you follow me to where your belongings are.

Soon the group followed Andrew out of the cell to where their belongings were being held and, on the way, there the group looked around as they went through the hallways. As they went down the hall the group received a number of different looks from the passing soldiers. Some gave them looks of surprise, confusion, and others just turned to look away. Though some soldiers took a second glance back at Yang as she was quite the hottie of the group though she didn't pay any attention to any of them. After about a couple minutes of walking they finally made it to the storage room where all of teams RWBY and JNPR's belongings were.

A little while later...

After getting their things back Ruby was led to the watch tower on the airfield to try and get a better signal on her scroll. But as they made it to the top of the tower her scroll signal improved enough to contact the headmaster. Dialing the number of the headmaster she waited for the headmaster to answer his call.

Andrew: So, you can contact your headmaster with that small thing in your hand?

Ruby: Yeah, though the signal is very weak here it should be enough to contact the headmaster.

Just then the ringing of Ruby's scroll stopped with someone picked up on the other side.

Ozpin on scroll: Miss Rose are you there?

Ruby: It's me headmaster.

Ozpin on scroll: It's good to hear your voice again Miss Rose, have you made any progress with exploring the new land?

Ruby: Uh, well you see, that's a funny story.

One long explanation later....

Ozpin on scroll: So, the land you and your teams are on is another kingdom of some kind?

Ruby: Sort of, they call their land a country.

Ozpin on scroll: And did I hear you correctly that you said this United States is at war?

Ruby: Well not just the United States but other countries are at war all around the world we appeared in.

Ozpin on scroll: ....This... is most... troubling news, I don't think the counsel will like this.

Ruby: Well sir, there is some good news.

Ozpin on scroll: What is it?

Ruby: We've talked to some of the military guys here and that have informed their leader about our presents, they said he wants to meet with you to talk over an agreement.

Ozpin on scroll: An agreement? What sort of agreement?

Ruby: To ensure the kingdom's safety and provide support to the other kingdoms.

Ozpin: Hmm, I believe that can be arranged, I'll be at your location tomorrow before the afternoon, would that work?

Ruby then looked to Andrew, and he nodded his head yes.

Ruby: Yeah, that will work sir.

Ozpin: Excellent stay safe for the time being until my arrival.

Ruby: Yes sir! My team and team JNPR will wait for your arrival.

Ozpin: I'll be there as soon as possible.

After that he hung up and Ruby then turned to Andrew.

Andrew: Well, what did he say?

Ruby: He said he'll be here as soon as possible tomorrow.

Andrew: Very well, we will have a train ready by then to take you to Washington.

Ruby: So, can me and my friends go and see the city?

Andrew: I suppose, but we have to have a few MP's look after you and to ensure you don't get lost.

Ruby: I suppose that makes sense.

Ruby's thoughts: Yay, we can go see the city!

Andrew: Just make sure you or none of your friends try anything funny.

Ruby: We won't sir! You can count on me!

Andrew: I really hope so.

Time skip...

After gathering their things, the two teams were allowed to go look around the city near the base. The city was called San Fransico and it was quite a good-looking city compared to the city of Vale back in their kingdom. However, the two teams were accompanied by four US Army MPs to ensure they wouldn't try to escape or try anything funny. The two teams were driven to the city by the MPs in a transport truck as it came to a spot to park and the two teams disembarked looking at the city in awe.

Ruby: Wow look at this city!

Blake: It looks less modern than Vale but still nice.

Yang: I wonder what kind of clothing stores they got here.

Nora: I wonder if they have any restaurants here that sell pancakes. hehehe

Ren: Nora, behave yourself.

Nora: *Playful pout*

Jaune was looking around the city block they were in and it kind of reminded him of the place where one of his sisters lives as he saw a car drive by them.

Pyrrha: Jaune? Are you okay?

Jaune snapped out of his gaze of the city turning his attention to his red-head teammate.

Jaune: Y-yeah, this place just sort of reminded me of the small city one of my sisters is residing in.

Pyrrha: Oh really?

Jaune: Yeah, from the photos she sent me this place kind of strikes me as familiar.

The group then decided to split up and look around the city a bit more and the two teams would be accompanied by two MP's per team. As the two teams split off with the MP's accompanying them, they were greeted by some of the locals who were walking around going about their business in their daily lives. Though some gave them confused looks when they saw the MP's with them but, brushed aside those thoughts as they pasted.

With Team RWBY...

As the team walked down one of the main streets in the center of the city Ruby was taking photos of the sights they saw with her scroll. Weiss was looking at the various buildings and shops seeing if there was anything of interest to her. Blake meanwhile was having a bit of trouble holding herself back when she saw a store that sold seafood (mostly fish). Yang meanwhile had to look after Blake to ensure she didn't try to steal one of the fish from the store and also checking to see if there were any clothes stores open around. At the same time the two MP's that were following them kept a close eye on them due to their suspicion but were lessen up as they saw the teenagers basically being tourist.

MP#1: Well, despite a war going on they sure seem happy looking around here.

MP#2: Well, its important to be happy when you can, self-moral is important.

Then as the two watch the group of teenage girls look around city sites around them the noise of powerful piston engines was heard above them. The group then looked up and saw a flight of eight P-40 war hawk fighters fly overhead of them going out for a patrol. The two MP's then looked back at team RWBY watching the planes fly over them with the youngest of the team waving to them as they past.

MP#1: You really think these kids can help us?

MP#2: Only time will tell, and I have a feeling that is going to be sooner than later.

MP#1: What makes you think that?

MP#2: Just a feeling I have.
