Blake POV

I was in my room reading a book when Pyrrha came in. "Blake (y/n) did something very very dangerous." Pyrrha said, "Nothing new there, so tell me why are you telling me this." I said condescendingly, "Because she wants you to make sure he actually made the right choice. You've always been his moral compass of sorts, and you've been slacking on your job." Yang said, "Fine I'll take a look." I said as I put a bookmark in my book and sat it down.

We went downstairs to the living room where I saw Lucinda lying there covered by a thin blanket. "Oh my Oum! W...what happened to her?!" I asked in shock, "She was tortured for who knows how long. Honestly if (y/n) hadn't brought her to me when he did I don't think she would have survived." Jaune said calmly.

Flashback six years ago Blake POV

"Mama?" Sky said as Aaron and Rose took her onto the bullhead with them, I waved goodbye to my baby girl with tear filled eyes. "Blake you're doing the right thing." Lucinda said, "L...Lucinda it was so easy to let her go." I said as I began to cry, "Blake it's ok, you did this for her sake." She said.

For three months Lucinda helped me get over (y/n)'s death the only way she knew how, by enabling me. So I drank and drank. Eventually Lucinda left without saying a word. She left a note, but I didn't find it until it was too late.

End flashback Blake POV

"And that was the last time I saw her until now." I said, "Mom, Daddy is... M...Mom what's going on? Why is Auntie Lucinda here?" Sky asked, "Sky sweetheart, go to Daddy." I said, "No, I wanna stay!" She said, "Sky listen to your mother." Someone said very softly behind me, I turned around and saw Lucinda sitting up holding the blanket over herself. "Hey Lucy it's been a while." (y/n) said, "Normally I would hit you for calling me Lucy, but it's starting to grow on me." She said. We sat around for a while and caught up after that.

"You wanted to talk to me about something?" I asked, "I think I'm ready to become the man I once was. I wanna go back to being the man you loved and married, but I can't do it on my own, if I'm gonna do this then I'll need you to help me." (y/n) said, "That's what I was hoping you were gonna say." I said as I kissed him. "YAY MOMMY AND DADDY ARE BACK TOGETHER!" Sky yelled happily, suddenly everyone else fell through the door, "WERE YOU ALL JUST EAVESDROPPING ON US?!" I yelled, "Um uh it was Weiss's idea!" Ruby said, "Oh come on honey they've been waiting for this for a while now so I think their justified... this time at least." He said.
