Emerald : "What did he tell you, Cinder?", the dark skinned girl asked her, having the redhead to snap out of her thoughts.

Cinder : "H-He knows", she said to them with a small stutter, making them have different expressions, from horrified - for Mercury - to surprised - for Emerald - and finally - for Neo - to worried.

Things weren't going as planned, that's for sure.

After his meeting with Cinder and the rest of team Carmine - also abbreviated as CMNE - Ryan had returned to Beacon to see the others.

Yang : "You took your sweet time to return to Beacon didn't you?", she asked her older brother politely, albeit in a teasy way seeing her older brother's 6'10 frame come towards the corridor that both the RWBY and ARKUS dorms were located at.

Ryan : "I did, but not so that I could go sightseeing. Where are Luke and the others?", he said to her, questioning her as well.

Yang : "He's with Ruby and the others, also what was the reason why you came back so late? Did you meet with him ?", she asked him politely, surprised at the fact that her older brother shook his head negatively at her second question.

Ryan : " *sighs* I didn't meet him, but the reason is equally serious and it's something that I'd like to tell to you and the others in privacy", he explained briefly to her and when the others had arrived at the dorm, he proceeded to explain to them everything according to his interaction with Cinder and the team CMNE.

Blake : "So let's see if we heard right, Cinder and the team CMNE might be spies that wish to infiltrate and sabotage Beacon? Don't you think that this is a bit too far fetched?", she asked him politely, albeit that wasn't the full truth.

Her furrowed eyebrows and the fact that her cat ears were slightly moving could easily betray the fact that she was still having second thoughts about the male's words.

Ryan : "It's not as far fetched as you think it is when you think that they were literally eyeing us from when we were on the bullhead that brought us to Beacon", he explained to her.

Yang : "As much as I'd like to believe you, I'll take Blake's side on this one since isn't it a bit too much to go without proofs and accuse them of being spies or too far fetched to go to hastened assumptions?", she asked him politely, but the voice of another being spoke to her mind and the mind of others.

Sage : "Although I agree that it's a bit too much to do as such and assume equally as much for other people so it'd be better if we kept a close eye on them just to make sure that they won't do anything in order to sabotage the Beacon academy's lessons.", he explained to them telepathically.

Blake : "Sage, I know that both you and Ryan have this bad feeling about them and I'd be lying if I didn't had it as well so I think that looking around for any clues that team CMNE is scheming of something bad would be the best move for now.", she explained to him, fixing the position of her glasses.

Sage : "Understandable, but acting cautiously would be the best option for us as of currently since they probably know that they were spying on us.

Also, for the rest of you keep an eye on Cinder and don't let her anywhere close to Luke.", he instructed her.

Weiss : "Why's that?", she asked him politely, albeit similarly to the others was dreading the answer.

Ryan : "Isn't it obvious?

Even though she's much stronger than an ordinary student due to having parts of a Maiden's powers, she probably knows that she's no match for either me or Sage so our thoughts are that she'll probably try to get a hold of Luke and use him as a hostage so that she and team CMNE can do their dirty work and sabotage Beacon without worrying", he explained to them, having Yang to get upset about it.

Yang : "If she gets anywhere near Luke, I swear to Oum that I'll make her regret that!!", she said in an upset tone, hitting her fist on the mattress of the bed.

Her irises were shining red instead of their classic purple and her golden aura was emanating from her body. A sign that her Semblance was unconsciously activated.

Her actions had made Luke to let out a squeaky yelp from his mouth since due to his signature small height a simple hit on the mattress was similar to a mini earthquake from his perspective.

This had made him to get closer to Ruby as Yang was trying to calm herself down.

Luke : "P-Please don't let her g-get close to me!", he squeaked out, hiding behind his sister's arm.

Ryan : " I'll never in a million years let her get close to you and use you as a hostage since she'd have to go through me first.", he explained to his youngest brother with a reassuring smile and then looked at the others.

Ryan : "Fair enough. If that's all, was there anything important announced in our absence?", he asked them politely.

Ruby : "Well other than a masquerade party at the main room of Beacon in the following week and the Vytal Festivals that are still in the process of making the final preparations, nothing else.", she said to him.

Ryan : "Sounds interesting, although I'm not going to lie that I had expected that they'd do a masquerade party near the time of the Vytal Festivals for two reasons.

*raises a finger* First of all being the leaflets that were literally given everywhere in Vale and *raises a second finger* secondly, because of the fact that the social media are both literally and figuratively screaming about the fact that Beacon will be the host of the masquerade party before the Vytal Festivals", he explained to them.

Yang : " *chuckles nervously* Yeah.... they aren't the most chill on what it comes to marketing the Vytal Festivals.

It's their marketing strategy at this point and with all their reasons since it's essentially the greatest dueling contest of all time.", she stated with a nervous chuckle

Blake : "So no wonder why Cinder and the rest of Team CMNE were waiting for this day to come, it's as if they planned for it all along so we have to be extra careful about it.", she explained to them.

Weiss : "Ryan? Mind if I talk to you in person?", she asked him politely having the brunette to nod at her words and follow her into an empty room in the dorm ignoring the teasy comments from his younger sister.

Yang : "Ryan and Weiss are sitting in a tree ~

And Ryan gives her a K-I-S-S.", she sang teasingly towards them, but before Ryan was about to say something, Weiss had closed the door.

Weiss : "You know that the Vytal Festivals are an event where all Huntsmen Academies are brought together right?", she asked him politely, having the male to nod.

Ryan : "I know, but why are you so concerned about it? Is there something else that worries you other than that?", he asked her politely about it with a worried frown.

It was the first time that he'd ever seen Weiss so worried about something.

Weiss : " *sighs* It's just that Atlas' Huntsmen Academy is here as well and what worries me the most is that the headmaster there is General Ironwood himself", she explained to him.

Ryan : "Why does the general worry you so much?", he asked her politely. He didn't need to have telepathy or mind reading in order to realise that something was most definitely going to go wrong.

Weiss : "The reason why I'm worried is that alongside General Ironwood there's always my sister, Winter Schnee, she's his right hand in the military and they both have an extreme hatred towards Faunus so I wouldn't like to know what would happen if either he or Winter had found Luke yet again.", she explained to him.

Ryan : "That's the point if, if either he or Winter want to hurt my brother they'll have to go through me and Sage first.", he stated towards her resolutely.

Weiss : "What if he brings the Atlas' army with him?", she asked him politely.

Ryan : "Then I won't hesitate to incapacitate his entire army if necessary in order to get my little brother back.

*Sees Weiss' eyes widening* I won't hurt the army severely or kill them since I have no grudges towards Atlas' army. They're men and women who have undergone strict military training in order to protect their homeland and its people.

For Winter and Ironwood if they did anything as foolish as to openly provoke me or try to hurt my family though?

I hope that Oum will show mercy to them, because I'm sertain I'll not.", he stated towards her, his brother's life had been threatened from people who hated the Faunus five times over, he doesn't want his little brother to suffer again.

Ryan : "Now there's another question I'd like to ask you Weiss.", he said to her.

Weiss : "What would you like to ask me about?", she asked him politely.

Ryan : "I remember back at the day when your sister had first came here to Beacon.

Once I'd dealt with her and returned back along with the others I could have sworn that your aura signature was different when you had went at the bath.

Why was that?", he asked her politely in slight curiosity.

Weiss : "I-I don't know what you mean", she stammered, her bright blue like the morning sky irises avoiding his bright hazel ones.

Ryan : "Weiss...", he said to her mid sentence, placing his thumb and index fingers beneath the white haired heiress' chin, lifting her head gently so that she could look at him in the eyes as his bright hazel ones met with her bright blue ones

I have met people who lied to me before and you specifically aren't one so please don't lie to me.", he said to her.

Weiss : "Even if I did lie, how would you know?", she asked him.

Ryan : " *sighs* I'd know for three reasons.

*raises a finger* Firstly, I can read minds, *raises a second finger* secondly I can read and sense aura signatures and *raises and third finger* I knew from a young age how to read emotions.

As much as I don't want to admit it I'm essentially a living lie detector so could you please let me know the truth?", he asked her politely.

Weiss : "Why would you like to know that so much?", she asked him politely, hugging herself.

Ryan : "I want to know more because I care about you Weiss. You don't have to worry if you'd like to keep it as a secret, it'll be our little secret if you would like to.", he explained to her with a soft sigh, hugging her, having the Schnee heiress to blush brightly at his words.

Weiss : "F-Fiiine", she groaned towards him with a small pout and broke out of the hug, backing up a bit.

She had then closed her eyes, her facial features seemingly calming down as she had taken in a deep breath.

Suddenly a bright white light had enveloped her body and once it's glow dissipated, Weiss' appearance was much different than what she used to look like.

(A/n : That's how Weiss' other form looks like, but imagine that she has blue eyes instead of brown and that she still wears her normal uniform.)

Ryan's eyes had widened slightly in surprise taking in her features. That was a much bigger change than what he expected.

With the exception of her outfit and eye colour, Weiss' appearance was completely different.

Her hair compared to the previous neatly tied high bun she was having them in were now free and seemingly longer to the point where they were reaching her bum.

Two horns were protruding from her head, both wide and sharp, pointing upwards along with a pair of purely white, dragon like wings were giving her an eerie look.

The change in her appearance wasn't the only difference that the heiress' new form was boasting. Her aura presence was much different as well.

Her aura presence was giving off a feeling like the graceful cold wind at the first days of winter. A serene wind that didn't bring only cold, but also secrets.

Ryan : "What are these chains?", he inquired, raising an eyebrow in slight confusion upon seeing the two black coloured, aethereal chains around Weiss' wrists.

He could feel a strange emitting from them, almost as if the chains were there in order to prevent him from sensing something, but he didn't try to pry any further.

Weiss : "You can see them?", she asked surprised, thinking that they were just a thing that only she was capable of seeing.

Ryan : "My eyes are currently capable of seeing many strange things that remain unseen by normal people and you wonder why I'm capable of seeing mysterious chains floating around you?", he asked her politely with a small chuckle at the fact that Weiss' had her traditional 'pout in the corner' type of reaction.

Weiss : "Not funny foxy", she whined towards him and gave him a piece of her mind by teasing him for his Faunus characteristics, her pout turning into a smirk seeing the teen's fox ears twitch slightly.

Ryan : "Oi! I'm not teasing you for your new form, you shouldn't tease me for my ears, got it!?!!", he said to her with an embarassed pout and took a breath, calming down slightly.

Ryan : "Anyways, as I told you before I'm going to help you out with controlling your new.... for lack of a better term form. That's if you want to of course.", he said to her with a small smile, looking at her eyes as he took her hands in his own, their fingers being entwined.

Weiss : "*blushes brightly* Y-You don't have to make it seem s-so weird B-Baka!!", she stuttered with an embarassed blush at Ryan's words.

Fortunately enough the blush made Weiss to lose control of her form and power down which conveniently enough had happened at the moment that Yang had opened the door, peeking slightly into the room.

Yang : "Sooo.... when's the wedding?", she asked them teasingly, grinning like an idiot.

That question of hers though was enough for Ryan to blush brightly at her words and for Weiss to literally pass out from blushing so hard, but luckily enough falling on the bed.

(A/n : Somewhat like that, but instead of being outside, imagine the background being ARKUS' dorm)

Ryan : "Yaaaang!!", he said towards his sister in a flustered tone.

Yang : "Oopsies", the blonde haired girl had replied to her older brother's words with a nervous chuckle.

A/n : Hello everyone, Son Raon here and I present to you the latest chapter of Remnant's Giant with the title The Party (Part 1). This chapter is my thank you to all of my 450 Followers and I hope that you'll enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.

Now I'd like to apologize to all of you for not replying or publishing any chapters sooner, it's just that due to the fact that trying to find ideas to continue my stories when I have also other things to deal with such as:

- Working on my University's homework due to being a sophomore

- The Requests on the Scaling Debate Book

- The Requests on the Experimental OCs and OC Creation Challenges Book

- The fact that I'm trying to write responses to every RP I have on Wattpad and beyond.

- The fact that I'm trying to find ideas for how to continue my other books at the correct order of publishes/updates

- Expand more on the verse's Cosmology and

- Finally find more time for myself.

That had the result of leading me to a burn out that lasted a week or so 🥲

I sometimes forget that no matter how powerful my OCs may be, I'm still a human being with physical and mental limitations that I can't just ✨magically✨ transcend and overpower, but I try my best to write a chapter or work on another book about or not about my verse whenever I have time to.

This was all I wanted to say in this mini rant and I'd like you to forgive me for not writing a massive 4K+ words chapter due to the fact that I'm just returning back to the writing I know and love after a burn out.

Once again my apologies for not making it extra big for all of you even though I deeply want to thank all of you for taking some time off of your schedules in order to read my chapters.

It really means a lot to me and I hope that I'll meet all of you again in another book of mine or in the Explaining Time chapter that will be coming in a later time either today or tomorrow since we'll have a lot to talk about in this chapter.

I hope you all have a wonderful rest of your day - or night depending on the time zone of the respective country you're living at - I was Raon and I'm out of my burn out with yet another chapter so until we meet again....
