Ryan : "* sighs softly * Now I'll have to once again reverse causality and repair the damage since it'll take a while to be remade if we live it to be recreated on its own.", he said to him closing his eyes as he imagined how the Spirit Realm looked before their fight, recreating it subconsciously.

Afer their interaction, Ryan had woken up, leaving the Spirit Realm after he had fixed it. He had realized that he would probably worry the others, had he, his twin and his younger brother haven't woken up yet.

He had looked at his night stand on the right side of his bed, towards the alarm clock that was on top of it. He had awaken far earlier than expected. The perks of being able to train in an alternate realm outside the normal flow of time.

He could feel the small mass of his youngest brother's body squirming close to his neck, a sign that he was waking up.

He had tried his best to not move that much, even though his little brother was basically close to a really ticklish spot for him, because he didn't wish to hurt him by accident.

Luke : "Good morning big bro", the young, pocket sized wolf faunus said to his older brother, having the latter to chuckle slightly.

Ryan : "Good morning little bro,", he said to him, looking towards his youngest sibling with a small smile before he stood up to a sitting position and had his open palm on the mattress of the bed, ready for the small teen to get on.

Ryan : "Ready to get something to eat?", he asked him politely, looking down at him with a small smile and saw that Luke had gotten on his hand without a second thought, a definite yes.

(A/n : Small Timeskip to after they have eaten their breakfast and packed up their stuff)

After they had packed up their stuff and said their goodbyes to their parents, Ryan, Luke and the team RWBY were ready to go to the airport and take the first bullhead back to Vale since it was about time that they returned.

Weiss : "I still can't find a reason as to why you're taking the bullhead back to Vale when you could fly back there.", she said to Ryan, because out of all of them, he seemed to be the only one who could get anywhere he wanted in a matter of seconds by the usage of either teleportation or flight.

Ryan :" The reason for this is that although I could fly towards Vale easily, I would have a lot of people watching me.

Some of them may be already under the assumption that my powers or Semblance as it's called mostly are offensive based.

Additionally, after what had happened back at the harbor. I wouldn't wish to reveal myself to any prying eyes of others.

This would only have Atlas knocking on either Beacon's door or even worse the door of my family here at Patch, making demands to hand me over as if I was a weapon let loose. ", he explained to her in a hushed down tone, wishing to avoid eavesdropping.

Sage :" History had shown through many examples that both humans and faunus alike can be quite fearful towards what they do not comprehend.

Let alone what the higher ups at Atlas or Menagerie would think of seeing that the most powerful beings on Remnant and beyond are looking like faunus.

We're not acting out of fear, but mostly out of caution.",he explained to her.

Weiss :" Caution for what? ", she asked him politely.

Sage :" Have you ever heard of the saying, The sleep of reason begets monsters?

Although both I and Sage have learned to see the world around us to be as fragile as cardboard, no one else except for the ones that are close to us know about it.

We're cautious since if these higher ups knew our true identities, they would do anything possible to have us under their influence or try to find ways to fight against us or quote-on-quote paint our names in a bad light.

Remember, a place full of people who are afraid of who you really are will think you of being their enemy no matter how hard you prove otherwise. This is a life worst than prison.", he said to her calmly.

Weiss :" Wouldn't it be easier then for you to use your powers and make them forget of what had happened back then? ", she asked him politely.

Ryan :" Although it would be way easier for us to do as such. It's only a way to delay the inevitable.

We may be able to warp reality itself or the memories of others as easily as how an author can manipulate the plot of a story, but why do it when we're not under any dangerous circumstances.

The only thing that I and Sage had done to stray any suspicions away was to repair all damage we had done in that encounter.

The reason behind this is that many scientists would be in question as to why many celestial constructs from Remnant's cosmic horizon and beyond would be missing all of a sudden in the same time span. ", he explained to her calmly, keeping their conversation in a hushed down tone as they had gotten on the bullhead, not noticing that some people were always eyeing them since when they had gotten on board the bullhead.

(A/n : ??? POV)

I was sitting in the bullhead alongside my team and as I was about to fall asleep, a friend of mine had told me - or to be more specific about it showed me since she was mute - what she had heard.

???1 : " *shows the screen of her scroll*

- The Team RWBY, along with what seems to be the members of team ARKUS are on board the Bullhead -", this was what was written on the screen of the girl's scroll which made my eyes widen slightly in surprise.

Me : "Excellent work informing me Neo", I said to her, patting her dark brown and pink colored hair.

Emerald : "What happened Cinder? You look as if you've seen a ghost.", Emerald asked me.

Me : "That teen is the one that Salem had told us to avoid at all costs.", I said to her.

Mercury : "Should we really be that concerned about him? He looks like any ordinary teen", Mercury said to me. It appears that he wasn't paying attention to what had Salem told us.

(A/n : Flashback back to the events of the chapter A Prodigal Initiation (Part 2))

Back at Salem's castle, the queen and progenitor of the Grimm, Salem herself was pacing back and forth in front of her dark throne, her bright red eyes being locked on a picture as if from a stopped video that was displayed in an orb.

That picture showed a teen with white hair, teal eyes and fox ears, beating one of her strongest creations. The Grimm knight.

The other people who were present there, including Cinder Fall, Mercury Black, Tyrian Callows and Arthur Watts were looking at their leader with a hidden sense of surprise and worry.

Through all their time spent in the Inner Circle of Salem's acolytes, they have never in their lives expected to see their queen feeling fear and worry. That on top of the fact that she was pacing back and forth with her eyes being glued to the orb was worrisome on its own.

Tyrian : "My liege, apologies for speaking out of turn, but all of us would like to ask you about why do you seem that worried about this boy.

He sure looks like a warrior, but he doesn't seem to have the silver eyes in his possession so he wouldn't be that worrisome, wouldn't he? ", he asked her politely.

At that moment, Salem had suddenly stopped pacing back and forth and her bright red eyes looked at Tyrian's eyes.

Salem :" The real reason is that this boy as you've called him is far more dangerous to our plans than all silver eyed warriors combined!!!", she said to him, raising her tone as her black colored aura seemed to increase in size and power all of a sudden, shaking the entire castle to its foundations.

Mercury :" Why is he that dangerous though? I thought that nothing with the exception of the silver eyed warriors would be a problem for your plans.", he said to her.

Salem : "Mercury, humor me. Do you remember where this Grimm Knight's last resting spot was located at?", she asked him politely in a stern tone, making Mercury's and Cinder's eyes widen.

Mercury/Cinder : "T-The Initiation area of Beacon", both of them said in unison with a small stutter.

Salem : "Exactly. This also means that he's a student at Ozma's academy as well!!

This simply means that if Ozma tells him that I was the real reason why that mutated Beowolf killed his adoptive mother  there's nothing in this world or any other that could possibly stop him from being turned against me!!!

My entire plans that entire YEARS were spent on them would be nothing but ashes to the wind if any word leaves Ozma's lips about it and no human, faunus, Grimm or deity could stop it from happening!! ", she explained to them.

Cinder :" So this means that the plan is held at hiatus by this boy alone? If only I had the rest of the power belonging to that Fall Maiden, I think that I could be able to stand a fair chance against him ", she thought to herself in arrogance.

An arrogance that made Salem herself to growl lowly as she had moved closer to the redhead as the heels of her shoes were echoing on the marble ground below.

Salem :" Are. you. out of your mind!? I told you that even if you had became a full fledged Fall Maiden, hell even if you had the power of all Maidens, you would still be nothing more than a grain of dust compared to him!!!", she yelled to her as her pale hand extended close to Cinder's face, her dark nails grazing her cheeks as she forced the arrogant redhead to look at her.

Salem :" The only thing that can save us right now is to pray that Ozma doesn't open his wretched mouth or tries to manipulate and turn Ryan against us", she said to her in a slightly calmer, yet worried tone, leaving Cinder's face.

Her mind was still ringing inside her head with thousands of thoughts and scenarios, ranging from how bad to how worse things can get.

Her being at the mercy of Ozma's words.

To her, that is a fate worse than death itself.

She despised that very idea so much that even the mere thought of it that it was enough to make her very soul crawl with fear.

Arthur : "W-With all due respect my fair lady, but you speak as if knowing that teen for a very long time.

I think that it would be a better idea to tell us more about him so that we knew why you are so afraid of him.", he said to her calmly, making the Grimm Queen sigh softly.

Salem :" That's fine with me. Let me tell you the reason about it all. ", she said to them starting to explain to them the entire reason.

(A/n : End of the flashback since I wouldn't want to have the entire three quarters left of the chapter to be a flashback of things that have already been done and written)

(A/n : Back in Cinder's POV)

Me : "And after that, she had told us the entire truth about who that teen is. To put it simple, he's quite literally from another realm and as it seems Salem and Ozma knew him since then since they're his godparents.", I said to them, keeping our conversation as hushed down as possible.

Neo : "*Shows the screen of her scroll*

- That explains a lot as to why Salem knows him so well and fears him equally as much. - ", she said to me via her scroll.

Mercury :" I don't know about you guys, but this sounds a bit too fan fiction-y for me to believe, but this doesn't stop it from being so God damnnC-...!", he said to me, but his last words were stopped by Emerald who acted fast and closed his mouth before he was going to shout.

Me :" Good call Emerald ", I said to her with a small sigh.

Emerald :" Can't have him shouting like a banshee out of nowhere now", she said to me with a small sigh to which I nodded.

(A/n : Timeskip to when they arrive at Vale)

(A/n : Back to Author's POV)

After the span of a few hours, Ryan, Luke and the team RWBY have arrived at Vale.

They were walking through the city streets, with Luke being able to see everything from the inside of the pocket of Yang's t-shirt.

Ruby : " What's the problem big bro?", she asked her older brother politely.

Ryan : "I can't shake the feeling that someone is watching me since when we were back in the bullhead", he said to her calmly, making Ruby and the rest feel worried about it.

Was it another threat like that masked stranger that had actually managed to beat Ryan and Sage?

What else could make him feel that worried all of a sudden?

Myriads of thoughts were going through their minds whenever they saw either him or Sage worried.

Their worry though had him sigh softly since he didn't need to read their minds in order to know what all of them were thinking.

Ryan : "* sighs * Just so that you're not feeling that worried, the presence I felt wasn't as dangerous as the masked stranger so I think that I'll be alright.

You may go to Beacon and I'll meet you there in a moment's notice once I find who was spying on us.",he said to them calmly, having Ruby to hug him.

Ruby :" Be careful big bro. ", she mumbled shyly towards him, having him to chuckle slightly.

Ryan :" I'll be careful, don't worry about it ", he said to her calmly with a small smile, gently patting her head as he had went away.

(A/n : Meanwhile with Cinder and the rest of the team CMNE (Carmine))

Cinder and the others were secretly spying on Ryan and the rest from a nearby alleyway.

Once she had seen that Ryan was about to leave, she had stopped spying  on him, ready to get away, but she was stopped in her tracks seeing that he was standing right in front of her.

His hands being in his pockets as he was looking at her with a serious face.

(A/n : Play this music) 

Ryan : "You know that eavesdropping isn't going to do you any good, right Cinder? ", he asked her calmly, rising an eyebrow in slight curiosity although he was hiding an amused smirk under his face mask at seeing her being that tense.

Cinder : "How did you know my name?", she asked him, taking a step back.

Ryan : "It's a part of my powers, I can read your aura and gather any and all info I want about you just by looking at you, basically meaning that I can literally read you like an open book,", the fox faunus said to her.

Ryan : "Also don't bother lying to me, I'll know it so you better tell me why you were spying at me since back in the bullhead?", he asked her politely.

Cinder : "S-Salem told me to spy on you just in case you turned against us.", she said to him with a small stutter.

Ryan : " *sighs* Of course she would, but let me tell you one out of two things.

If I see you or Salem thinking about hurting those close to me, I'll make it my life's goal to pay you and Salem back tenfold with the same coin.

Am I clear faux Fall Maiden?", he hissed towards her, his fox ears being close to his head in slight anger whilst his bluish white aura had flared slightly.

Cinder :" U-Understood ", she said to him with a small stutter. She could feel that even with him being suppressed, she wouldn't be able to do anything in an open fight against him.

She hadn't felt any aura presence that strong whilst suppressed.

She understood why Salem was that afraid of him.

Ryan : "Good,", he said to her calmly with a small smirk as he was about to get away.

Ryan : "*sighs* Also, next time you spy on somebody, make sure you do it right and tell your friends to not hide so poorly.", he said to her calmly with a small sigh as he walked away.

Once he had gotten away Mercury, Emerald and Neo had gotten out of their hiding spots and had seen Cinder's face looking pale.

This made them realize that what Cinder said to them was true and that this teen was the real deal.

Mercury : "He looks even scarier up close", he said to them with a nervous chuckle, having the dark skinned girl to roll her eyes to his words.

Emerald : "What did he tell you, Cinder?", the dark skinned girl asked her, having the redhead to snap out of her thoughts.

Cinder : "H-He knows", she said to them with a small stutter, making them have different expressions, from horrified - for Mercury - to surprised - for Emerald - and finally - for Neo - to worried.

Things weren't going as planned, that's for sure.

I know that some of you might be wondering why is Cinder and her team in the Bullhead that left from Patch and the reason is quite simple.

I know that in the original animated series, Cinder wasn't there (along with the entire thing of this chapters happening), but I've decided to take some... for lack of a better term "creative liberties" in order to bridge the previous chapter with the beginning of Volume 2 as I had envisioned it.

Finally, I hope that all of you will enjoy reading this chapter as much as I enjoyed writing it and I hope that I'll see you soon in another chapter of my stories.
