Sage:"I know that name for longer than you expect. *chuckles* Where are my manners, my name is Sage and I am your twin brother"

Ryan's POV

I was out of words about what he had said. How is that even possible? I thought to myself, he seemed to notice my hesitation and chuckled before answering to me.

Sage :" *chuckles * I see that you aren't able to believe that, but search for the answer deep down in your heart and you will see that it's true"

Me : " If you are my twin brother as you say, then why don't you reveal yourself to me and show me our similarities.*smirks *Unless YOU are not really my brother and you are only faking me to believe that"

(A/n: Play the music on top of the chapter)

Sage : " *sighs and turns his head from right to left whilst having a small smile on his face *I new that you would not be so believable only with words. So just to say you are the one who wanted this, not me ."

He is really going to show me his true form, let's see if he really is who he says I thought to myself, but boy I was not ready for what came next. When he stopped speaking, the entire place was shaking as if an earthquake was happening. Right now the entire once dark place was set ablaze by dark red flames and the floor beneath the place where he was before was cracking and lava was pouring out of the cracks, as a dark silhouette with glowing crimson red eyes was slowly rising higher and higher through the lava, without leaving its malicious stare of my eyes.

(A/n: Something just like that, but replace Broly with Sage and Goku with Ryan. Also imagine Sage rising up through the lava instead of green ki)

It was exactly as if I saw the creation of a literal demon. His aura is reeking of sheer rage and bloodlust, his darkness created a blood moon that was giving its terrifying crimson red glow to the entire place, which was distorted in unnatural shapes that looked like they were coming from a nightmare.

After he reached the highest point his silhouette was starting to disperse and take a more visible form. He was tall with ash Grey with dark silver highlights hair and glowing blood red eyes with black scleras that seemed to be looking at your soul. His upper half of his well built body was as pale as the moon, but adorned with dark markings and black spikes and horns where protruding of his shoulder pads and head respectively , while his lower half was dressed in a battle uniform which was a black with silver details battle tasset (A/n: Kinda like the samurai battle tasset), spiked knee pads and full metal combat boots. He was looking actually intimidating as he was slowly decenting to the ground, his black with dark red details wings were producing massive gusts of wind, which had put out all the flames around the place and I was left looking at him.

(A/n: As you expected Sage looks like a fusion between Blood Moon Aatrox (without the sword and having a right arm armor exactly like the one on his left arm) and Ryan, because of the fact that Ryan and Sage are IDENTICAL twins)

As I looked at his full form without breaking eye contact with him, I saw something that I never expected to see on him. Despite the fact that he has a demonic appearance, he looks exactly the same as me. It feels like I was looking at a reflection of myself made by a mirror of darkness.

Sage's POV

Man, this never gets old I say to myself as I straightened my posture and looked with my own eyes at the face of my only living family member, my twin brother, Azryn. The surprised look at his face was priceless, it was as if he tried to see if his eyes played tricks on him. I mean come on, we were born at the same day, almost at the same time (A/n: Azryn/Ryan is older by a few minutes) and we would have been identical to one another, only if I wasn't having that demonic appearance. I smirk to his reaction and speak to him, because this moment of silence was really starting to get on my nerves.

Me : "*smirks * What, you thought that we would not look the same. Who decided that , we are twins after all.", I say to him revealing my true voice, which has a demonic echo in it.

Azryn : "I don't know what to say"

Me : " *sighs* For being my brother, you are really hard to trust me. I mean, I might be your twin brother and also your darkest half, but I would never say lies like that to anyone. Especially my own twin.", I say to him surprised by the softness behind my response and the fact that the corners of my lips are slightly curved upwards without my attention, to form a small smile.

Ryan's POV

I look at him and I see that he is smiling at me, his smile is a small but a genuine one.

Me : " OK, how do I know that you are not lying to me about this right now? "

Sage :" There is also another way, *points to his forehead *look at your forehead, because I am literally the dark side of you I have a dark Yin symbol on my forehead. On the other hand you, because you are the other half, the light one to be specific about it,*points to my forehead * you have a bright white Yang symbol. "

Me : " But I don't have anything on my forehead ", I say to him tilting my head to the right in complete confusion to what he said.

Shortly after that, he sighs and changes the entire Mind Realm to the way it way it was before (A/n: Imagine the mind realm's current form to be almost the same as the one from Naruto, when he speaks to Kurama) and motions to me, to look downwards to the water. I do as he says and my eyes widen as I see that surprisingly on my forehead there is a bright white Yang symbol.

Sage : "Truth can be hard to
believe at. Many either run from it or dread to its name, but when it inevitably finds you, you will only need to embrace it."

Me : "That means, you are really my brother *sees him nodding whilst having a smile on his face *. That is a bit strange, actually", I say chuckling to my response.

Sage : "Seems that you finally accepted me as your brother despite the fact that in the beginning you thought that I was lying to you about it"

Me : "I also have a question. How is it possible that you are a demon and I am an angel", I finally decide to ask him confused about the truth behind it.

Sage : "Well, at my birth my normal body was only an empty husk and my soul had entered your body. *sees that Ryan's eyes widen at the mention that Sage's soul entered his body * No, it's not like a possession, but to put it simple, we are two souls residing in one body. My form is actually the result of me siphoning the dark emotions that we both have, but the longer I siphoned them, the more corrupted I had started to become. Until, I activated this dark form. It's not your fault, I chose to do it. "

(A/n: Stop the music here and begin this one)

Sage POV

After I said to him that, I thought that he would probably not forgive me for taking control of him. But was surprised by what he did next, he is hugging me.

Me:" Why are you hugging me, because of me it was that you were thought yesterday as a monster by the rest of your schoolmates and teachers "

Azryn : "As I said, you are not as evil as you actually think you are, because both you and I would do anything to protect our siblings from their bullies, or anything worse than that . Also the next time you do this, talk to me before doing anything, ok, because you scared even them unintentionally ."

I didn't know what to say to him, his response took me completely of guard. I finally snap out of it and actually say to him.

Me :" In the beginning I was about to do even harsher things to them, but you stopped me. Why was that? "

Azryn : " Everyone has the right to change their ways to the betterment of themselves. *breaks out of their embrace * Even the bullies"

He answered to my question with words of wisdom and honesty . He really is my light half, I thought to myself before saying to him my answer to his saying .

Me : "You have actually grown a bit soft, so I will have to remind you that some people will not change their ways only with talking to them and you will unfortunately have to beat them or scare them to submission and even kill them if it's needed to be done "

Azryn : "I know about that and I hope that such measures won't be needed to be taken "

Me : "The words of everyone before they actually do it. *I see that the Mind Realm and also my presence starts to fade away * My time meeting you it's almost at the end, but before I leave you to awaken from your slumber I will tell you something. *leans to Ryan's ear to whisper to him * There will be a time that you will lose someone who is important to you and then you will be forced to allow me to take control of the situation. ", I say to him, while turning my head to face him smirking evilly.

Azryn : " Only when that happens, *extends his hand towards me* I will let your darkness to take full control of my body. "

Me :" *chuckles evilly whilst shakes his hand, with a firm handshake * Well brother, you have got yourself a deal and now it's time for me to say goodbye "

Ryan's POV

What did he meant while he said that, I thought to myself as I begin to awaken. I slowly open my eyes to see my little bundle of joy, my brother Luke standing in front of my face poking at my nose.

I scrunch my nose, because it felt itchy by his small touch and say to him, as I slowly begin to stand up.

Me : " *smiles*Good morning Luke"

Luke : " *grins* Good morning bro"

Me : "Did you slept well?", I ask to him as I have my right hand palm up on the pillow in order for him to get on.

Luke : " *nods* Like a little baby", he says to me as he slowly steps on my open palm and because I wanted to tease him I say to him.

Me : "To be honest Luke you are not that different from a baby. You even snore like one."

Luke : "Hey, at least my snores are a more silent than yours, which is why I have to close my ears or else they are going to explode"

I laughed at his response and get my hand with him near my left shoulder allowing him to hop on it. (A/n: Everyone in the Rose /Xiao Long household knows about Luke, so it's not necessarily needed for Ryan to put him in his t-shirt pocket, to hide him. More information about that can be found on the previous chapters of the story)

Me : "*looks at Luke * Hold on tight"

As I was going downstairs, I felt a small tap on the left side of my neck, so I stop and turn my head to the left locking eyes in the process with my brother.

Me : "Need something short stack?"

Luke : " To begin with, *pouts* I am not short, it's just you and everyone else that you are giants compared to me. Also, what did you dreamed about?"

His question took me by surprise so I decided to hide a little bit of the truth about it and tell him that.

Me : " It was about something, personal to me ", I reply to him, because for the most of it was actually meeting my own twin brother. What did you expected, for me to say it like "It's nothing Luke, I just met a demon that is my twin brother and I am probably going to see him again in this night", I mentally say to myself unsure of who I am talking to.

Luke : "Well, if it's personal I cannot make you to answer me if you don't want to.", he innocently said to me.

We arrived at the kitchen and we were greeted by our parents and our sisters.

Me/Luke : "Good morning everyone"

Summer/Taiyang : "*they smile softly turning to look at their sons *Good morning my sweeties /sons"

Ruby /Yang : "Good morning brothers"

Author's POV

Afterwards as you probably expected they had their breakfast and they got ready to go to the school.

Ruby's POV

We are heading to our school, well, more like Ryan is heading to our school and we are sitting on his left shoulder (A/n: In my story's timeline I made that Signal Academy is only a few kilometers away, which to Ryan, because of his supressed (85ft/approx 29 meters) size is only a few hours walking from their home and Signal's location is before the city.) except Luke who is at the moment in Yang's cupped palms.

The view from his shoulder is actually breath taking, seeing almost all of the forest is actually so cool now I can see why he likes his size shifting ability so much, I thought to myself before he started to slow down and eventually stop a bit more than a few meters away.

Me : "Why did you stop?"

Ryan : "Well, there is one thing that I know really well and that is the fact that many people are not fond of seeing someone being literally a giant. So to stop any further panic, I will need to turn my size down a few feet, don't ya think?"

(A/n: The time skip to Qrow's lesson comes to you from a chibi Ryan being chased by Luke, Ruby and Yang, before he understood that he can easily massively (no pun intention) turn the tables to them)

(A/n: Still at Ruby's POV)

Qrow : Well as all of you may know, a hunter against the Grimm does not need only his fierry will to complete his missions, but also the weapon of his choice. So today we are going to create our own weaponry that will only bring you a small step towards becoming the future generation of hunters and huntresses. Without any further delay you can begin. "

Me : " What weapons are you two going to make? "

Yang : " I am going to make shotgun gauntlets, what about you guys? "

Me : " I think about making a schythe that can turn into a sniper rifle "

Ryan :" Well, for my own weapon, *smirks * I would like to keep it a secret for the moment "

Me : " Why are you keeping it a secret, big bro? ", I say while I tilt my head to the right in confusion.

Ryan : " *chuckles whilst he ruffles Ruby's hair * Well, little sis that is because I am not like you and Yang and I know how not to spoil the surprise. "

(A/n: I am going to do a small time skip to the revelation of their weapons. I won't describe the weapon construction, because I think that it will be boring for you to read)

Author's POV

Qrow : " Ok students, I gave you the last three hours of this school day to have enough time to work on your weapons. Now let's see the fruits of your work and *chuckles to himself as he sees Ruby vigorously rising her hand in the air * of course miss Rose you can begin."

Me : "I have created my weapon that I named Crescent Rose. It is a schythe * turns her schythe into the sniper form* that can also turn into a high caliber sniper rifle"

Qrow : "*smiles proudly * What an excellent idea Miss Rose, the next one is Miss Xiao Long"

Yang : "The weapons I created are the Ember Celica (A/n: I might not know how to spell some weapon names in the future, so please forgive me for the misspelling that you might see), they are my shotgun gauntlets"

Qrow : "Powerful with high damage, good choice Miss Xiao Long , now Mr Rose could you show us your weapons that you created", he says to Ryan, but he sees that Ryan doesn't have any weapon on his workbench.

Rs#1 (A/n: Rs->Random student) : "He did not have made any weapons, what a loser"

Rs#2 : "Wait a minute, do you mean that when we were working hard to make our weapons he was only sitting there idle. How could he!!!?"

Ryan : " *smirks whilst he chuckles at their obliviousness * I didn't make any weapon, who decided that.", he smugly says to them as he rises the sleeves of his jacket to show to all, his weapons.

Ryan : " Ladies and gentlemen, my weapon of choice, *he rises his hands for everyone inside his classroom to see that they are clad from the elbows to the tip of his fingers in two, almost fully black gauntlets with silver lotus designs on them * behold The Graceful Lotus. Two gauntlets that can turn into *he clenches his fists as his weapons transform * high impact aura cannons, which means that I can use my aura as ammunition for them.", he says to them as he bites his lips in order to force to silence a laugh seeing their mouths opened wide to their surprise.

Qrow : " Seems that someone has paid attention to our previous lessons about aura infusion. Also you managed to combine it with an indeed graceful design, good job young lad ."

Ryan's POV

I actually smiled at our teacher's praising to my weapons. My idea worked better than I expected, only sky is the limit for what is going to come next, I thought to myself. My future as a hunter begins from now.
