(A/n : Also, don't expect any changes in the POV of the current chapter since it's quite taxing for me due to the fact that I have just came back to writing from quite the break.)

After they had seen that message in Yang's scroll Ruby and Ryan had excited feelings about it due to the fact that they were going to see their parents once again which had basically rekindled a more calm yet hopeful atmosphere instead of the gloomy yet sad one that was pre-existing, but the most exited one had to be Luke out of all people.

Luke : " * grins * We are going to see mom and dad again!!", he chirped gleefully with the same excitement as a kid that had a little bit too much sugar before falling asleep whilst his wolf tail was wagging happily behind him as he was jumping on Yang's open palm, having the blonde to have her other hand closer to the much smaller borrower teen since she didn't want him to misstep and fall.

Yang :" * looks down towards her younger brother in worry * Woah, wiah, woah calm down a little bit shortie. We wouldn't like for you to fall accidentally, would we?", she said to him in a worried yet motherly tone which was a pale contrast on her otherwise flirty yet playful behavior, making Luke to yelp slightly in surprise, having him to plop down on his sister's palm with his hands and legs spread out like a starfish and judging by the position of Yang's hands that were slightly cupped beneath him that made him to seem as if Yang was cradling him like a baby or similarly to a kitten, eliciting some giggles and snickers from the others.

Luke : " * blushes embarrassed * It's not funny. This is just humiliating right now!", he squeaked, trying to stop the embarrassed blush that crept on his face and started to get progressively darker by the second since it would give them and him some mixed feelings about his current predicament that would make his position even more awkward than it already is.

Yang : " * smirks slightly * What happened little bro? You can't accept that you're as adorable as a baby right now? *mutters under her breath * Although you are quite smaller than one", she said to him in a smug yet playfully teasing tone, having the borrower faunus to get his hands in front of his face in order to try and hide his blushing face since he wasn't the most difficult person to tease.

Luke : " Stop teasing me like this or else I'll tell dad that you couldn't stop flirting with almost every male student in Beacon since the first day!!!", he shouted towards her in a slightly frustrated way, trying to stand up from her open palm, although it seemed quite the difficult task since the blonde girl's hand was trembling from her giggles like a ship that was sailing in a turbulent sea.

Yang :" * pouts childishly * Meanie", she said to her calmly, giving him a gentle boop on the smaller boy's chest with her thumb, knocking him effortlessly back again on her palm where she had pinned him by laying her thumb gently on top of him.

Luke : ' *In his mind * Uh oh * Out loud * Hey!!! What's that for!!? ", he asked her politely, putting his hands on the sides of her finger, trying to raise it off of him. He had never thought that the phrase; I can barely lift a finger would be THAT much representative of his current predicament.

Yang :" Payback time ~ ", she said to him calmly in a teasing way as she proceeded to gently tickle Luke's chest and stomach, an EXTREMELY ticklish spot for the small borrower since it had elicited quite the laughing fit out of him, but was much more accepted than being constantly teased.

Ryan on the other hand had noted that whilst the others were either chuckling or flat out laughing, but in a lower volume so that they couldn't hurt Luke's sensitive due to the size difference hearing, someone else wasn't laughing or taking part in the current fun time that all of them (A/n : * cough * Minus Luke 😂 * cough *) had already taken place in and the person was his younger twin brother, Sage.

Ryan : " * speaks telepathically to Sage * What's going on Sage?", he asked him politely although in a bit of concern, having himself to enter into the Spirit Realm whilst he left behind a clone of his as to not concern the others by his sudden disappearance.

The fact that they were sharing the same body was known to them for the long time that they were together, but it also meant that one of them could sense the emotions of the other which meant that he could still feel his younger twin's emotions whom at the current moment were sadness with a hint of melancholy and a side of uneasiness, but for what reason did Sage felt them? This was what was bugging him right now.

Sage : " * speaks telepathically to Ryan * It's nothing", he replied to him calmly with a heavy sigh, although the looks of melancholy could still be seen in the half demon's bright red eyes, making Ryan to sigh, shaking his head and approach him.

Ryan : " It's not a nothing or a small deal if you seem depressed like that. * sits near him * You know that I'll be here for you in everything you're going to need. Well,... except if it's when you want to act all villainous like which you are not getting out off easily ", he said to him with a nervous chuckle towards his last statement, mainly due to the fact that it was mostly to try and break the melancholic mood than be repetitive on that matter.

Sage :" * looks at him * You might tell that right now trying to give me the hope I need, but what's going to happen once we get to see them?", he retorted at his brother's statement with a question of his own that ironically enough it made Ryan to better understand what Sage's case of melancholy was; Loneliness, the biggest factor of sadness there is and the reason behind that had hit him harder than a meteoric collision.

Ryan : "Sage? Are you perhaps nervous about what our parents would tell or think about you?", he asked him politely, albeit in a concerned manner.

Sage : " * nods * Exactly, also it's mostly due to the fact that they might think that I had taken control of your body or many other bad things towards me based on how I look, not how I feel. What if they told you to try and either subdue or completely forget about me? I'm asking you because loneliness is worse than death. ", he said to him, letting Ryan know that he didn't wanted to be alone like an outcast any longer, he wanted to live with others even though he was basically fused with his twin, he wanted to be accepted by those that he cared about in his life instead of living a life of loneliness due to others thinking of him as a monster.

Ryan : " * sighs softly * I know exactly how you feel.", he said to him, those six words were the only thing that came out of his mouth at that very moment, his fox ears were close to his head in sadness.

Sage : " Is that so? Then enlighten me about what do you mean.", he said to him, still thinking that his older twin was basically trying to pity his current condition instead of help him out with getting over it.

Ryan : " Very well then, although it seems to you that everything on my life was as if it was given to me by a higher power, my life was quite bad for a while. Both you and I had lost our parents at a young age, having the both of us to be adopted by the Rose / Xiao Long family. We have both relived their deaths once again via the Rune of Arkus and both of us have mourned for them. Both of us have three siblings that care about us and have us to mutually care for them, both of us have helped our younger brother when others had tried to hurt or kidnap him, redeeming some of them who proved to be great friends along the way, whilst still remaining unforgiving towards others that still harbor evil intentions towards us all. Finally, both of us had protected Remnant and its denizens, humans and faunus alike from when that mysterious man had attacked attempting to end our lives. * cups his face * You might think that others where going to hate you for what you have done whilst you've only done it due to the fact that you were overprotective about our family. Also, if they aren't in a place to accept you for who you are, not what you are, they haven't fully accepted me as well due to the fact that I view you not only as a brother, but as a part of me since I'm a part of you, so you're a part of me as well. I would never neglect you, younger brother.", he said to him calmly with a small smile (A/n : Don't get any ideas Rule 34 artists/writers or else 😈🔪), making Sage's eyes to widen slightly in surprise to his words.

Sage :" I see, it seems that there was a misunderstanding on my part about it. Thank you for clearing that up and looking after me even though I never stated that I wanted a baby sitter.", he grumbled towards him, making the fox faunus teen to chuckle.

After some time of walking and some complains from Weiss's part for them to stop and take a break due to the fact that she wasn't hearing at Ruby's and Ryan's words towards her to not wear shoes with high heels since they would have to walk for quite a while in order to reach to the Bullhead landing port and not have to stop every half an hour for a break because her legs were aching.

It seems that her mishap became a lesson to stop being that arrogant and hear the opinions of others, especially her teammates when deemed to be a necessary thing for her. Once they had arrived at the meeting spot, they had heard the sound of propellers in landing position, meaning that albeit their bickering they had came just in time.

Ryan : " * speaks telepathically to Sage * Sage?", he had asked his twin brother whom had manifested in his human form next to him.

Sage : " *speaks telepathically to Ryan * What?", he said to him, replying partially to his question with one of his own.

Ryan : " * speaks telepathically to Sage * Everything is going to be alright so don't worry too much about it.", he said to him politely.

Sage :" * speaks telepathically to Ryan* Fine", he groaned slightly towards him with a sigh, rolling his crimson eyes to his elder twin brother's shenanigans.

Ryan : " Also, stop sighing all the time and being so edgy", he said to him.

Sage : " I'm not", he said to him.

Ryan : " You are"

Sage : " I'm not"

Weiss : " * growls * Hey, stop the bickering!!!", she said to them and then had pinched the bridge of her nose, sighing heavily.

Weiss : ' *In her mind * How is it possible that the two most powerful people in Remnant are actually the most immature at the same time?', she had thought to herself with another heavy sigh, but thankfully had managed to once again regain her mental composition since once the Bullhead had opened, outside of it came the two people that Ryan, Yang, Ruby and Luke thought that they would never see, Taiyang Xiao Long and Summer Rose, their parents.

Ryan/Yang/Ruby/Luke : " * first two in unison * Dad!! /Mom!!! / Mommy!!", they said as they went to their parents, enveloping them into a hug.

Taiyang : " * laughs * It's nice to meet you all again and it seems that you have made quite the friends.", he said to them calmly.

Summer :" What are your names? ", she asked them politely, whilst keeping her youngest son, Luke, close to her.

Blake : " Blake Belladonna, pleased to make your acquaintance Miss Rose and Mr Xiao Long.", she said to her in a polite yet calm way.

Taiyang : " * chuckles * No needs to be so formal, other than it makes us to feel that old, you can just call us by our names, we don't mind it.", he said to her calmly.

Weiss : " Weiss Schnee, pleased to meet you ", she said to them calmly.

Summer : " Of the Schnee family? The same one responsible for the faunus labor cases? ", she asked her politely, albeit in an inquisitive way, having her fingers to close slightly around Luke in a protective way since her 'Mama Bear' instincts started to go haywire.

Weiss :" * sighs softly * The one and only, but I can reassure you that I'm not like the rest of my family", she said to her calmly, knowing that an overprotective mother and mostly an overprotective family isn't a trifling matter for anyone, no matter how well prepared they might be.

Ruby : " * looks at her mother * She's saying the truth mom, on top of that she had once helped us to protect Luke from someone who was going to hurt him", she said to her calmly, feeling the animosity and tension getting thick enough to the point that you could cut it with a knife.

Yang : " Also she's our older brother's girlfriend and he's not the kind of person to have as a girlfriend someone who would hurt his younger brother.", she said to them calmly.

Summer : " Ryan, is your sister telling the truth?", she asked him politely about it, having the dark blonde teen to nod slightly, having a dark red blush on his tanned face whilst trying to keep his fox ears from twitching in nervousness.

Summer :" Oh my Oum, I'm going to be a grandma!!!", she said gleefully, calming down and having both Ryan and Weiss to be blushing like crazy.

Taiyang : " * looks at Sage * What's your name boy?", he asked him politely. (A/n : Guess the reference 🤫)

Sage :  " Sage, just Sage ", he said to him in a polite way.

Taiyang : "No last name? If you don't mind me asking or if it's personal.", he inquired.

Sage : " I don't have a family", he replied to him, trying to not show emotion on his face, although a solemn glint was present in his bright red eyes.

Taiyang : ' * In his mind* I shouldn't have asked. *Out loud * We'll see what we can do about this ", he said to him calmly.

Summer :" * chuckles nervously * What are you waiting for then? Let's go ", she said to them.

Yang :" * raises an eyebrow * To where? ", she asked her step mother politely.

Summer :" To back home of course since it's only a day to the parents house as a part of the project, if the students want to as well. ", she said to them.

Weiss : " Sure, I don't have anything else to do ", she said to them calmly with a small shrug and having Sage to nod at her words since he didn't had something to do.

Blake : " Well, it would be a good thing visiting Patch for once since a bit of fresh air would be good instead of having to deal with the rather anxious environment of the Academy. ", she said to them calmly, albeit with a bit more words about the fact that she actually wanted to come as well.

Ryan :" So does that mean that we're all going back? ", he asked his mother politely, having his mother to nod at her older son's words.

Ruby/Luke : " * In unison * Yeah!!!", they said as the former was the one who had gotten on the Bullhead last and then had went back to Patch.

Luke :" Mom, I have to tell you something.", he said to his mother calmly, looking up towards her face.

Summer : " * smiles softly looking down at him * What would you like to tell me about sweetie ?", she asked her youngest son politely.

Luke : " Umm... it's a secret ", he said to her calmly, wanting to whisper it to her, which made Summer to gently cup her hand so that her son wouldn't fall and had lifted him up and close to her ear.

Luke :" * whispers * Yang had started flirting with multiple boys from the Academy ", he whispered into her ear and by her look alone and Yang's nervous gulp, it could pretty much let her know that she was in for a long talking time.

After some moments with Taiyang's and Summer's reaction to Ryan's height with the former still in quite the disbelief that his adopted son is taller than he is by quite a lot and the latter's reaction with the teasing remarks of how much her son had grew in quite a while, they had arrived at Patch and went back at home where once they had gotten in, the one who had seen them was the family's adorable corgi, Zwei.

Yang/Ruby : "Zwei!!!", they both had said in unison as they had pet the corgi whilst Luke was seeing them from Ryan's hands (A/n : Summer had given Luke to Ryan whilst they were in the Bullhead after she had stopped teasing Ryan.), remembering quite well the moments from his early days after being adopted in the family that no one was letting him near Zwei mostly for not having the latter to think the former as an easy meal or because the former was a bit too scared of the phenomenally "harmless" corgi.
