Explaining Time (Part 23)
A/n: Hello everyone Son Raon here and welcome back to my story Remnant's Giant in another chapter of Explaining Time for the latest chapter called The Bond Of A Family (Part 2) ,so that I can explain to you the key points of the chapter. So without any further delay let's begin. Shall we? :
Explanation #167: This chapter continues from where its previous part ended and began with the first part of Winter's plan to kidnap Luke and make him her pet, by sending fake information for a mission that had included only the rest of the team RWBY and ARKUS, minus Weiss and Luke of course.
Explanation #168 : I decided to add a small kinda cute interaction between Weiss and Luke, which had ended with Weiss's understanding of how powerful Ryan's size shifting abilities really are. Many of you may also ask that question : "If Ryan has the ability to change the size of the others, then why doesn't he choose to change Luke's size so he wouldn't be harmed ?". The answer is a double one and a really simple one to understand. Firstly it's because Luke's size is the only thing that really remained to him from his true family and the only way he could remember them. Finally, because Ryan is outside of the Jotunheim (a.k.a the Giant Realm), his powers are limited, so he is able to shrink and regrow only those who were big, but not those who were born small, pretty simple isn't it?
Explanation #169 : The beginning interaction between the three and I mean only Winter, Weiss and Luke. I was inspired by the author known as @Mystik50 and especially from his story titled Gentle and Caring Giantess RWBY X Child Male Reader, probably the best G/t story I had the honor of reading it myself. Truly a gem between the stories of Wattpad. In my own version I did a little change, because I added my OC Sage to the mix.
Explanation #170 : Winter's oblivious, self-absorbed, cocky and arrogant nature of thinking that she should wait until Sage's and Ryan's return thinking that they would be at the same size as Luke, so she would have two pets in the price of one, was what lead to her inevitable downfall, because Sage came back and believe me if Weiss didn't save Winter's life by practically begging Sage not to kill her, could easily make you to know that he was all out of mercy and he probably would do what he said to Weiss in the chapters called A Warrior's Promise and The Awakening Of Nemesis and believe me, if you read them or their mention jogged your memory a bit, the things that Sage said were not trifling matters at all, but made of pure hatred and malice. But because Weiss technically "saved" Winter's life, Sage decided to torture her both mentally and physically. Physically by breaking every single bone in Winter's body beyond repair from her waist and down and mentally by threatening to eat her (that would be a digestive vore and not a soft one) and throwing threats to her whole family (except for Weiss of course) making her responsible for the actions of the rest of her family and Atlas, having the result of making her to slightly lose her sanity and develop a massive ( no pun intention) fear of Sage ( from the creepy grin that Sage had given to Winter, we could be really sure that she would be TERRIFIED for her life if she dared to disappoint him), because she holds the fate of the ENTIRE Atlas in her hands.
Explanation #171 : Many of you might be confused as to why I did gave to Sage's third form else known as Nemesis a different appearance than before. I did it because the stage that Sage's third form was, was it's final stage. So by all means it's appearance should be different. Also, I made understandable the difference between Sage's second and third form in terms of mentality, because Sage in the third form has 60%control over Ryan's (else known as Azryn's) body he would obviously be a lot LESS restricted in terms of malice, all thanks to the fact that he's showing his "true" personality, the evil and sadistic one. If you didn't understood it like that allow me to rephrase what I said. Imagine yourselves being at his shoes, meaning that you would actually have tried to control yourselves from killing everyone who dared to harm your little brother who is barely bigger than your own thumb and you saw that the mission was fake and then you came back to Beacon seeing the only thing that you thought that would never happen, meaning someone who threw at you an insult, tried to kidnap your little brother and treat him as a pet, add that to the fact that if you where even for a second late you wouldn't probably see him again. Well, you wouldn't be that happy or in a good mood and mentality.
Explanation #172 : *sighs * Oh boy, why do I have a feeling that this is gonna be a long thing to explain. The chapter as we all know ended up in a cliffhanger that had a sertain plot twist about Weiss's origins, revealing that at least in my story, she was actually adopted by the Schnee family and she wasn't a real part of their family. But here's the catch, I am not going to reveal her backstory here, because I am planning to do it for the latest chapters of the book itself and believe me, if you thought that Weiss having a demonic true form was something unexpected to you, then the revelation to WHO she's related to will blow up your minds (not literally of course), because the plot twist as of how the chapter ended is going to pale in comparison to what's going to be revealed later on. You have been warned.
Explanation #173 : In the penultimate author's note I said that this chapter meant the end of one of my story's arcs known as the Beacon Arc. The arcs of my story Remnant's Giant ( as of now) are :
Ryan's Arc : From A Hero's Past (Part 1), until An Uplifting Surprise
Sage's Arc (a.k.a The Dark Twin Arc) : From A Familiar Awakening to The Ryan Games.
Beacon Arc (one of the biggest arcs of the story) : From A Prodigal Initiation (Part 1), until The Bond Of A Family (Part 2).
As for the other arcs you will know their length when the time comes, just be mindful to look for author's notes just like the penultimate one from this chapter.
A/n: That's all that I think that was needed to be covered for this chapter, so if you have any questions about the current chapter of Remnant's Giant called The Bond Of A Family that you think I haven't covered or they are bugging you and filling you with questions feel free to ask me about them in the comment section of this Explaining Time chapter. So, until we meet again, happy reading my fellow Wattpaders and I hope you enjoy reading the Explaining Time for the latest chapter of my story Remnant's Giant and I also hope you have a great rest of your day.😁
