A/n: Hello to all of you my fellow Wattpaders, I am SonRaon and I welcome everyone of you to another chapter of Explaining Time for the latest chapter of my story Remnant's Giant. Let's begin :

Explanation #144 : This chapter of my story Remnant's Giant called Darkness And Light and it is it's final part.

Explanation #145 : Well, the fear play from Sage against Cardin, was a part of what he said to Ryan in a previous chapter called Meeting With The Darkness. In that chapter Sage said to Ryan that if he wanted to get someone else to join his side, he wouldn't need to talk at him or her if he or she wouldn't take his words because as a saying goes : " Where the reason does not apply, the bar is valid ", meaning that the would need to use into more aggressive methods of persuasion.

Explanation #145 : In that part if it wasn't for Luke, Sage was going to kill Cardin by eating him. Also, by talking to Sage Luke managed not only to redeem the team CRDL, but also Sage himself by showing to him that he shouldn't only limit himself to what he is supposed to be and that's Ryan's dark half. So the moral lesson of this chapter is as it was said by Luke : "He who is fights monsters mentally or physically, he must see to himself that he does not become one", meaning that he should choose how he wants to be seen by the others, as someone who is showing his benevolent nature to others, or as a monster, a vessel of pure hatred.

Explanation #146 : I decided to give to Cardin a somewhat tragic backstory that was actually the reason behind his hatred for the faunus, so it would actually make his and his team's redemption all the more satisfying.

Explanation #147 : The calm way that Cardin was talking to Luke on the bullhead was actually showing his inner self, the one that was suppressed by the abusive behavior of his parents towards him and the realization that he was away from them, so they couldn't judge him.

Explanation #148 : For the ending part of this chapter I decided to put in a touching moment between Ryan and Luke, the realization of the teams RWBY and JNPR that they were judging a book by its cover and a somewhat hilarious ending for the chapter.
