A/n :Hello everyone Son Raon here and I present to you the latest chapter of the Explaining Time for the latest chapter of my story Remnant's Giant called Vengeful Darkness. Now, let's get to some explaining, shall we? :

Explanation #123: We continue on from where we left in the previous chapter called A Prodigal Initiation. After the team CRDL left, Ryan had questioned the others if they were afraid of him and saw him as a monster and they came to scold his previous actions in the cafeteria. Also, he was reassured by Pyrrha and Luke  that they were not here for scolding him, but they were here because Ozpin had requested his presence to his office to talk to him personally and the fact that they knew that he had done it for saving Luke's life.

Explaining #124: Here we learn the real reason that explains Ryan's and Sage's protection towards Luke. The reason is that Ryan had accidentally seen Luke's memories of the death of his father one of the previous nights and he had seen that despite the obvious size differences between the two. Luke was exactly like him, he had lost both of his parents and that's why Luke in the beginning of the chapter called An Uplifting Surprise thought that no one cared for him after that. After seeing that, both Ryan and Sage had sworn to become his protectors till the end of their lives, so he would not have to get through this again. Concluding, one of the readers of this story named LuisCarlosSantillana had asked me two questions about this chapter, "who was Luke's mom?" and "Can Luke see Ryan's memories?". I explained them to him, but I will explain them again to you in case you had the same questions beforehand. Luke's mother's name was Elisabeth and she had died after giving birth to Luke. Also, the memories that Ryan had seen was Luke's so he didn't know about her fate, because Luke was an infant when she had died. The answer to the second question is that Ryan's psychic powers were accidentally activated, so he did not know that those were Luke's memories, until he heard his name. Additionally, Ryan had shown to Luke, Ruby and Yang his own traumatic past through the connection that he has to the mysterious relic of Jotunheim, known as The Rune of Arkus. Concluding with this explanation, Aaron's death was a reference to a sad moment of a thriller that I had seen called A Quiet Place and for those who have seen it, it was the part where the father had sacrificed his life fighting the Listeners (The monsters of the said thriller) in order for his children to live.

Explanation #125: After we had finished with seeing the flashback of why Ryan and Sage were so overprotective of Luke we got the meeting between Ozpin and Ryan and the revelation that Ozpin was Ryan's godfather.

Explanation #126: After the striking (no pun intention) impression that Ryan had given to the others into professor's Port class, we were ready to begin with the second main event for this chapter. The battle between team CRDL and Ryan Rose, the strongest member of the two men (technically three men) team known as team ARKUS. Also, the way that Ryan's school uniform started to materialize and transform into his combat gear, it is a small part of how high is the control of space and matter that he has thanks to his Matter Manipulation power.

Explanation #127: The reason why Ryan gave WILLINGLY the control to Sage is because of three reasons. First and foremost, because Cardin's mace ripped a big part of Ryan's face mask leaving a somewhat nasty scar on his left cheek. Secondly, because he threatened Luke's life and finally because he disrespected Ryan's true parents. That combined with the sheer rage that Ryan had towards him, he had allowed Sage to take more control over his body, because he wanted only one thing. He didn't wanted to kill Cardin, but to humiliate him and make him to suffer, letting him to know that he was not the one in control (Can I get a F in the comment section for Cardin).

Explanation #128: Some of you might have seen that I called that appearance of Sage as his second form. That's because Sage has DIFFERENT forms depending on the percentage of control over Ryan's body and they all have different names, which are :

i) Hated oblivion (The first form. It appears when Sage has 20% control over Ryan's body)

ii) Vengeful Darkness (The second form. It appears when Sage has 40% control over Ryan's body.)

iii) Nemesis (The third form. It appears when Sage has 60% of control over Ryan's body.)

iv) Reincarnation of the Abyss. (The fourth form, it appears when Sage has 80% of control over Ryan's body.) and finally

v) The Destroyer of Worlds.(The fifth form. It appears when Sage has taken full control over Ryan's body. It's Sage's true form. )

Concluding, each of the mentioned forms are the stages where Sage is more or less restrained, because of the fact that he can become more VIOLENT the higher they form is. So that means, the higher the form, the higher is the destructive capability that lays dormant within him.

Explanation #129: The reason why Cardin could not stand up despite the fact that the uppercut that Sage gave to him was HEAVILY suppressed, was because of the fact that he was against the full force of Sage's aura pressure and killing intent. The only way that someone could get away from it is to be STRONGER than him or equal to him in terms of strength, which Cardin definitely was not. Also, there is one question regarding one of the previous chapters, the chapter known as A Sibling's Bond, where Sage met Luke, Ruby and Yang and it is : "If Sage's aura pressure is so high that someone cannot get enough air just by being in a close proximity to him. Then how did Ruby, Luke and Yang were not affected by it?". The answer is really simple, it is the fact that Ryan (else known as Azryn) had used the white Yang energy in his aura in order for him to nullify Sage's dark Yin counterpart, so they would not get crushed by his aura by being near him. Also, I forgot to mention that when Ryan and Sage are in one of the pocket dimensions that he can easily create, they are in their TRUE forms, in their 100% OF THEIR POWER.
