3rd POV
Aego downed his tea and placed it on the counter.
Aego: I've fought a lot of Kaiju since I was younger, but this is the first time I'm hurting like this since the gods.
Yang: well, to be fair you were weakened.
Aego: I guess you're right Yang. Crap! I need to pickup a gift for Yuko, and I don't want to have to swim and get it.....can I borrow the boat?
Blake: I'll go with you. I have to go to New Vale anyway, need to pick up some food for us, like anyone's gonna eat that meatloaf.
Weiss: hey!
Aego: hey hey hey Weiss, you still have that needle and I just felt something scrape against my bone.
Weiss: sorry.
Timeskip two hours
Aego sat by the water's edge eating an apple, a pile of cores behind him. He finished the one in his hand and tossed it behind him, hitting the tree next to him, allowing another to fall into his hand and began eating that.
Yang: hey Aego, are you alright.
Aego: I'm fine....I'm just thinking about Dad. What he would do if he had to fight those things.
Yang: well Y/N would probably either do if with absolute strength or it would take a lot of persuasion from Ruby. Somehow she just wore him down. Were you ever told how he went to Atlas just because Ruby pleaded with him?
Aego: no I wasn't.
Yang: Orga, as Y/N called it, attacked Vale and he rose up, fighting it and then went to the ocean. When we first met him he was like one of the stereotypical bishops you see in a show, "thou shalt not survive the wrath of god" sort of thing.
Aego: he never struck me as that kind of guy.
Yang: he changed real quick. Well anyway, the team and I wanted to go see more of it, so we asked a pilot to take us to wherever he was, following the radiation. That radiation brought down our aura's immensely, much faster than what yours does.
Aego: I remember having to stand by you when you visited Ruby at the spot in Vale. Her and Y/N are still standing there, made sure that the creatures didn't destroy it. Then what happened?
Yang: well he was sitting by a tree, he didn't want us there in the slightest. Well to put it short, Ruby asked him for help when the news came that a massive Kaiju was attacking Atlas. He said no. Well we went to Atlas and shortly after he appeared, barely a fight. Traded a few blows before staring each other down. Y/N admitted that he went to Vale as they were cuffing him.
Aego: they were cuffing him?
Yang: safety precaution, if I remember correctly he said that he could break them if we wanted to, don't quote me on that, because I can't remember it all.
Aego: wow.
Yang: hey Aego...I'm heading into New Vale for supplies, would you like anything?
Aego: let me go with you, I should learn the layout better when I go on my date.
Timeskip to New Vale.
The boat docked and the two walked onto land, heading towards the shopping plaza.
Aego: when this place isn't burning it's honestly quite beautiful.
Yang: this place has been attacked a lot hasn't it.
Aego then felt a tap on his shoulder, turning around to see a boy with long blonde hair, skinny and in a black shirt.
?????: what's up Aego! Remember me?
Aego: Holy Shit! What's up Arashi
Yang: who's this Aego?
Aego: Yang, this is Arashi, my best friend from the orphanage. How are you doing?
Arashi: not bad, is this your new mom? Kinda hot.
Aego: he's joking Yang, he did this with everyone. And I was adopted by a guy named Y/N, long story short, I'm staying with his girlfriend's team.
Arashi: that makes sense. Yeah, I got adopted, have my own little sister now.
Aego: you always wanted to be a bad influence.
Arashi: well you know me, gotta do what I got to do.
?????: Arashi!
A small blue haired female ran up to him, she had to be no more than six.
Arashi: what do you need Savannah?
Savannah: mommy wants us home soon.
Arashi: alright. Well Aego if you're still in town we need to hang out some.
Aego: I'd like that Arashi.
Arashi: take it easy.
The little girl was pulling on Arashi.
Yang: well....he's a character.
Aego: he'll grow on you.
