Chapter Four: Entrance Exam

(Before I begin, I chose this song specifically for Aizawa. Anyway, I hope you enjoy! ~Writing__Trash)

Aizawa's P.O.V.:

Dear God, (Y/n) is a good kid, but he is such a handful. I can't rightfully blame him, but his total ignorance of everything is driving me crazy. I mean, you tell him to have a good day and he asks you what good means. You can't use synonyms because he doesn't know what those words mean either, but he's been getting a lot better. The fact that he's an older kid makes it easier for him to understand and catch on to things, I suppose.

Two days ago he got his glasses and contact lenses, and he keeps forgetting to wear them and he sleeps in them when he does remember. It's like I'm the caretaker of a small child...

Today is also his entrance exam. He isn't going to be fighting the robots due to the school year already starting, but he will be going up against All Might for a mock battle. I, along with Midnight and Nedzu think it would be good for him, seeing as it would be a good exposure to part of the world he lives in. I haven't seen his quirk in action yet, but I hope to see just why it is seen as so dangerous. According to the file the asylum gave me, his quirk is like an enhanced version of Present Mic's, so I don't see exactly is so deadly.

Another thing I noticed when he walked out of the bathroom in a towel on the third day he spent with me was that he was unnaturally skinny. I asked him about it and he said that over the years he had spent there, they had never enlargened to portions of food, meaning that he was only fed enough to keep him alive. This was very concerning, and I tried to get him to eat more, but it's like his body refuses anymore than about the size of his fist. I may have to get him checked out for an eating disorder before he begins to faint on me or something.

(Y/n) keeps asking me questions about the exam when he walks by me, and he seems a bit nervous. I know I should be easier on him, but I'm ready for a break. I already have to deal with the kids at the school, and him at home; and now I get to deal with him twenty-four-seven.

"Stop worrying already," I told him, tired of his rambling.

"I know I shouldn't worry, but I've never done something like this." (Y/n) replied.

"You'll be fine. Now go freshen up and get dressed, we're leaving in twenty minutes." I foretold, causing him to scramble to his room and the bathroom.

(Y/n)'s P.O.V.:

I was wearing one of the new outfits Kayama got me. It was a white hoodie with a graffiti design, black jeans, a (*you choose the color*) flannel shirt wrapped around my waist, white vans (the stripe/line is black) with shout lines and music notes, and a dark grey beanie. Midnight had chosen this outfit for me. She said it was, "So my style!"

Aizawa and I were getting out of his car, and I was met with these two humongous buildings surrounded by a wall. It was a good looking place, and it seemed to be made for only the best of the best-- making me all the more nervous. I didn't know what to say or think about the place. It was just such an amazing sight, especially for me of all people.

Aizawa led me to an arena like place that had a stone platform that was edged with a white line. There were seemingly millions of seats around, but only four of those seats were taken. Nedzu, Midnight, Present Mic, and Aizawa/Eraser Head were sitting in the stands while Aizawa was passing out soundproof headphones. The other staff members looked at him curiously, but I told him about my quirk so he bought then brought them to make sure no one would end up deaf or injured.

I stood there in the arena with All Might, doing a few vocal exercises to warm up my voice. I did a bit of whistling, humming, singing, and I let out a small shout, making sure to not use my quirk while doing so. All Might was looking me up and down, and I heard his comment on my appearance.

"Why are you so skinny..?" All Might whispered under his breath.

"That's none of your business." I snapped at his comment. The other staff looked shocked, and I covered my mouth with my left hand. "I'm sorry, I don't know what just came over me! Can we forget about that?"

"Sure my boy! I know you're still getting used to everything, so it's perfectly okay!" All Might grinned his bright smile.

Why am I so disgusted by this smile? By this man?

I turned away from him and continued my warm-up for thirty more seconds. After that, it was time for my mock battle.

Third Person View:

Up in the stands, Present Mic told them to start the exam. All Might got into a battle position, and (Y/n) just stood up straight to get the best airflow. When Present Mic yelled for them to begin, All Might charged, and (Y/n) took in a huge breath, sucking the hero towards him. Then he let out a blood curdling, freakishly high and loud scream, ripping cuts into All Might's skin and blowing him away completely.

All Might was on the ground, just by the border of the platform. He looked terrible, but he stood up and charged again, ready to stop taking it easy on the kid. (Y/n) saw this and went for a less harmful attack. (Y/n) let out a low whistle, causing All Might to have a hallucination of his worst nightmare. He seemed shocked for a split second, and (Y/n) took this time to make a popping noise with his lips, shooting All Might out of the boundaries and into the wall with the force of a buss sized bullet.

All Might couldn't get back up, and for a second (Y/n) felt good-- like he were meant to do this to him... like this was your purpose.

You quickly came back to your senses, pushing the thought to the back of your mind and running up the hero. You started to sing a little, beginning to heal the hero quickly, without the drawbacks of Recovery Girl's quirk. The four in the stands were amazed. They hadn't heard what happened, but they saw everything.

Nedzu stopped sipping his tea and told Present Mic to announce the results.

"(Y/n)! YOU PASS!!!!"
