SMASH!

Takuya barely flinched when the bottle hit the wall and smashed into pieces. He just gave his father a blank look.

"Where the fuck have you two been eh?" His drunk father glared viciously at them. Takuma nervously hid behind his twin. "Your school ended ages ago, you should have come home straight after!"

SMASH!

Another bottle was thrown, this time aiming for their heads. Takuya pulled Takuma down with him and the bottle hit the wall again.

A bit of glass got onto their hair.

"Clean that up!"

"Clean it yourself pig" the eight year old spat. "T-Takuya" Takuma stuttered, and hugged his twin's arm in fear when their father stood up. "What did you say brat?" He took big strides towards them.

"What the fuck did you ungrateful piece of shits say?!" Their father raised a hand and brought it down to strike them, but Takuya shielded his brother.

SLAP!

Takuma was sobbing uncontrollably. Takuya was brought to his knees, his face turned to the side and a red hand print on his cheek.

"You" their father turned his attention to the younger twin.

"Stop fucking crying! Grow up already! Be mature alright?! Stop crying! I said stop crying!!"

Takuya clicked his tongue and closed his eyes. Why did he have to remember that memory now?

"Takuya! Focus!" His teacher snapped.

Takuya's eyes strayed to his twin who was hunched over his seat, using the person sitting infront of him a shield so that their teacher wouldn't catch him.

His twin was making origami roses using his colored papers.

Takuya's eyes then moved to Karma, who's mood seemed to have improved since lunch. "Asano must have cheered him up"

But then he remembered Sakoto was told by Takuma that Gakushū was feeling down so she should go cheer him up. He guesses Sakoto must have dragged her boyfriend away from Karma.

Takuya snickered, imagining Karma's annoyed looked because his crush got taken away from him, again.

In all honesty Takuya doesn't really care about this, "Karushuu ship" as Takuma had dubbed it. He's just playing along and 'helping' for his own amusement. If Takuma wants to waste time meddling in Karma and Gakushū's affairs then let him.

He'll provide assistance if there's something in it for him.

Or if his dear twin begs enough or bribes him with chocolates.

He doesn't understand Takuma's insistence of pushing Karma and Gakushū together. Ever since he found out the red head and strawberry blonde actually liked each other, Takuma thought "Well fuck lol they look good together! They just need a strong push so why the hell not help them out?"

Really, Takuya loves his brother. But Takuma's nosy and meddlesome personality easily made him dislikeable.

Add his childishness to the mix and Takuma is seen as a pest and an attention seeker.

But it's not Takuma's fault he acts this way.

"Grow up Takuma!" He can hear his father shouting at them.

"Be mature like your brother! And you Takuya! Why can't you be respectful like Takuma?! Damned brats!"

"Shut up" Takuya thinks.

Karma felt eyes on him, so he looked around the classroom and locked eyes with brilliant emeralds.

Takuya smiled at him, before returning his attention to the teacher.

"Hm, Karma likes Gakushū, Gakushū likes Karma but is dating Sakoto to forget his feelings for Karma..." Takuya thought. "I can see why Karma likes Gakushū though. That boy can be charismatic when he wants to be,but what about Karma?"

Takuya looked at Karma again, who was staring at him now.

"What could he possibly see in Karma?"

Well, he guess he'll find out if he continues to play along with Takuma's shipping game.

He's not doing this because he cares.

He's just helping because he wants to keep himself entertained.

That's it.
