A while later...

I stand at the edge of the sand, letting the waves of the low tide lap at my toes. I can barely make out the rocks underneath my feet, the shadows making my surroundings a blur. Chanyeol should be asleep by now.

I look up to see the full moon, a smile finding its way onto my face. These nights were my favorite. I'd always come out here on the nights of the full moon, just to soak in it's glory.

A breeze blows by, and I'm thankful for the lack of clouds. The air smells of salt, and I grip at the wet sand with my feet, digging my toes in further.

'It's nice, isn't it?' His voice doesn't startle me anymore. Rather, it was comforting to know that he was always there.

"What are you doing?"

"I could ask the same to you." I listen as his footsteps become louder.

"You know I come here every full moon."

"I do," he breaths, and I can tell he's standing right behind me.

"What are you doing out here? It's unlike you to be up so late."

"I wanted to see you. I missed you." He presses a kiss to my outer ear.

"You just saw me twenty minutes ago." My voice warbles a little as he wraps an arm around my waist and pulls me down into the sand, then sitting behind me and supporting my back with his chest.

"Whatever." His voice is soft as he presses his nose into my nape.

"You know," I wonder out loud, "I've never seen you during full moon." My eyes are trained on the horizon.

I've wondered for a while now, what my mate looks like basked in the full moon, with alpha blood pulsing though his veins.

"Really?" He cups my chin with one hand. "Why don't you find out then?"

"I don't know, it's kind of interesting to leave it as a mystery, don't you think?" I tease.

"Really?" He tilts my head to the side, and I let him. "You sure?"

"No, I-" I stop, my mouth agape as I look at my mate at the height of his strength. Wow.

His hair shines a bright silver, and he gives off an aura of power and confidence. He looks like he expects respect. His slacken body almost proves otherwise though. The way he's so relaxed, with one arm propped up behind him to support his weight, and the other one resting over my waist, holding me to his chest. His lips are slightly turned upwards, and his eyes glisten with an emotion that I'm also familiar with.

Love.

My stomach flips and my heartbeat speeds up. Even after all this time. And I still can't speak. I don't know if it's because I feel like if I do, my voice will come out as a croak, or if I don't want to disturb the peaceful silence. Or maybe it's because he looks so powerful right now, it feels wrong to speak first. I have a feeling that it's the last one because instinctively, I lower my gaze and show him my neck.

Chanyeol laughs, a soft, mirthful sound that vibrates in his chest. "Baekhyun." He lifts my head up and kisses me on the lips. "Why did you do that?"

I kiss him back, then pull away. "You look so powerful, it just seemed..." I trail off. I watch as the wind toys with his hair, pushing the strands in a fluid motion. Not one hair falls out of place. "Look, even the wind seems to be under your control."

Chanyeol's eyes crinkle as his grin widens. "Trust me, it's not."

"Still." I touch his face tentatively, not wanting to mess up the perfection.

Chanyeol grabs my hand and drags it along his cheek. "You can do what you want, I promise I'm not going to break your neck."

I hum, pulling at the simple tee he had on. The collar moves, revealing his mark. Our mark. It glows a silvery shade, like it's made of moonlight. "Chanyeol." I touch it gently.

"Do you like it? Check yours." He pulls at the collar of my shirt. I look at the imprint, which pulsed a deep shade of red. My eyes widen. "What? Don't act so shocked." Chanyeol shakes his head. "Don't tell me that you haven't checked your mark before."

"I didn't see the point in doing so."

"Why not? You're my Luna, aren't you?" He tickles my chin with light fingers.

Luna. I turn the word over in my head.

"Always." And I'll never forget that.

Fin.

Did I actually just finish this book? It's going to be sad to let this universe go. I really had fun with it.

Wow. I genuinely impressed that I managed to pull it off, considering that I was kinda making up parts of the plot as I wrote it.

Rate this book out of 100. Be honest! :D

What's one thing that you think it lacked?

One thing that you liked. (Be specific.)

Favorite part?

Would you like to see a vampire AU after this? I was thinking about doing one... it probably will be a while before I can get it up and running though. Check out 'Look At Me!' (because I know that some of you still haven't) :D

Thanks for sticking around. <3
