One week before
Halloween,
Kjrsten tells me
I am overly
obsessed
with death.
Unamused,
I explain that
it's like
thinking about
college
all the time
because you know
it's what's next.
Kjrsten suggests
the idea that
college is up next
for me.
She leaves
and comes back
with pamphlets
about scholarships
and applications,
all things
I've ignored
until now.
Even though Cadence
has already
been given
a full-ride
and is planning
to attend
a nearby
community college
to get her
GenEds cheap.

I guess Kjrsten
is right.
Which I'll never
say to her
face.
Wouldn't want her
getting cocky.
Kjrsten puts down
her foot
and says that
she is canceling
my Group subscription.
I didn't realize
Group was so
prestigious.
Apparently people
are just
dying to get in.
Haha.
Kjrsten wants me
to spend some time
doing what I've
always wanted.
