I woke up in my bed, feeling totally drained. I felt my head. No horns. I looked at my hands. Pale skin. Good. I got up and looked in my mirror. Two eyes. Purple iris'. Purple hair. Good. I'm back to normal. I feel totally calm too. I felt my neck and there was a bandage on it.
"Robin shot me with a dart." This made me extremely angry, but I took a ton of deep breaths. "Azarath Metrion Zinthos. Azarath Metrion Zinthos." I repeated my mantra. Now I'm calm.

Wait...am I wearing a loin cloth skirt and a crop top? Ugh. I hate skirts and dresses. I raided my closet for my black leotard. Found one. I took off the clothes, but instead of throwing them out, i decided to stick them in the back of my closet. I put on the leotard and headed toward the door. I tried opening it, but it was locked. Did Robin lock the door? How and why did he do that? You can only lock the door from the inside and what's the point if I can just teleport out?

Who knows, who cares.

I teleported to the hallway and walked to the Ops room. When I got there, Beast Boy, Cyborg , and Robin were playing a fighting game and Starfire was playing with Silky. None of them saw me.

"Hi guys." I said casually. They all instantly snapped their heads to look at me. They all looked surprised. "What?"

"Friend Raven! You are back to the normal!" Star yelled as she hugged me. No, not hugged, crushed me.

"Hey Rave. How ya feelin'?" Cyborg asked.
"I feel calm. And I don't have any pain. Except for this." I pointed to the bandage. "Speaking of which, how exactly did this happen?" I asked. Robin and Beast Boy came over. Beast Boy tried to explain.

"Well, when you went all Trigon-ey, you were flinging stuff around like cars and lamp posts, and you almost crushed Starfire with a truck." Starfire turned away and rubbed her arm. "So Robin had to...uh..." He trailed off.

"I had to tranquilize you." Robin said. He did. I knew it.
"I know." They all looked slightly surprised except for Robin.
"You did?" Beast Boy asked.
"Empath." I reminded them.
"Oh right." Beast boy scratched the back of his neck.
"Do you need help with anything Raven?" Cyborg asked.
"No. Not right now."
"Oh ok. See you later then Raven." Cyborg said and they all walked away and resumed what they were doing. Except for Robin. He looked like he had something on his mind.

"Everything ok Robin?" I asked nicely.
"I need to talk to you in private. On the roof." He said in a strict tone.
I followed him up the stairs to the roof.

"What is it Robin?" I asked.
"Is everything okay in there?" He poked my head. I looked away from him. "Come on Raven. Remember our connection? I know something got through."

"Fine. Something did get through, but I don't know what Robin." I answered reluctantly.
"I know you know Raven. Tell me."
"I..." I looked him in the eyes.
"*sigh* Trigon. But this time it's serious. He isn't free, and he will never be. It's just when I get too angry, rage takes over me. My eyes get red...yada yada yada. You know like I did with Dr Light." I explained.
"Yeah, but what about yesterday?"
"Right. That has never happened before. But, my guardian father on Azarath, Azar, told me it might happen."
"Don't beat around the bush Raven. What is 'it'?"
"It's...my demon half....taking over completely. If I get angry enough. She'll take over completely. I won't be myself anymore and I'll be at my father's total disposal. I won't care who the heck you guys are. I will just do whatever he asks of me. Yesterday I had very little control, but just enough to still be myself. Next time I don't think we will be as lucky."
"There won't be a next time Raven. We won't let it happen. I won't let it happen. Trust me, I didn't like shooting you with that dart, but if I have to do it again I will."
"If you have to do it again it won't make a difference." I ended the conversation and walked back inside.

"Raven. I'm going to help you." Robin said. That stopped me. Help? What could he possibly do to help in this case?
"How are you going to help me?"
"Let me into your mind Raven." Are we really going through this again? I know that this is a bad situation, and I need all the help I can get, but he is not going into my mind.
"Robin, we've been through this. There are some places that you can go in here." I pointed my my head. But this conversation didn't end like last time.
"Then I don't have to go there. Take me where it's important." I started to object, but, I have not reason to. Crap.
"Come to my room at 9 and we'll start." I said before disappearing into the floor. I was standing right over my room anyway.

Why has Robin been so aggressively annoying? You'd think after he started dating Starfire he'd be happier. And he has, but now he's picking on me. I'm a threat. But it's not like I don't know it. I'm a threat everyday, yet here I am. Now that I think about it, the others don't actually realize how dangerous I am on a regular day basis. I'd like to keep it that way, but Trigon seems to have other plans. I know what Robin is going to find in my head tonight, and I'm not exited for his response.

I grabbed a book from my room and decided to avoid Robin entirely until nine. The less confrontation with him the better. I'll just let Starfire swoon over him. Better than him threatening me. Even if they are empty threats.

I think Beast Boy and Robin went out somewhere. I don't really care enough to ask where they went.

I was sitting on the couch drinking some tea. Cyborg sat next to me and watched TV.

"Hey Raven? Is everything okay between you and Robin?" What should I say? On one hand, I don't want to lie to Cyborg, but on the other hand, I don't think I want to tell him about my...state. At least not yet. I guess I was thinking for too long because Starfire came over.

"Friend Raven are you the okay?"
"Huh? Oh. Yeah I'm fine. Robin and I are fine. He was just worried about last night." Okay. Well that wasn't totally a lie.

"Oh. Okay then." Something beeped.
"What is that beeping noise friend Cyborg?" Star asked.
"Oh, that's my alarm for the T-Car's weekly check up."
"Can I help?" I asked.
"Sure Raven. Do you want to help Star?" Cyborg offered
"I would love to friend Cyborg, but I have to do the feeding of the Silky." Star said.
"Oh. Ok. C'mon Raven." We got up from the couch and walked down the hall to the elevator to go to the garage.

I like helping Cyborg with his car. It's like I'm helping him in return for helping me. How is he helping me? His car is an extension of him just like anything I control with my powers is an extension of me. It helps me control my powers like meditating. I still regret calling it "just a car" four years ago.

I slid under the car and started fiddling with the gas tank and some other pipes down there while Cyborg checked it the muffler. At this point I know where everything is supposed to be.

"Hey Cyborg?" I said after I slid out from under the car.
"Yeah?"
"You need a new muffler." It was bent the wrong way.
"Oh. I know. That happened yesterday." What?
"What happened yesterday?" He looked like he wasn't supposed to say that.
"Oh...uhh...when you were flinging some cars and stuff around, another car hit the T-Car. Luckily I was able to fix the trunk and the back windshield, but I couldn't find a new muffler." He scratched the back of his neck. I...crushed the car?
"I...crushed the T-Car?" I said innocently.
"Only the back! And you didn't do much damage!" He tried to make it better, but it wasn't. I crushed the very thing I compared my powers to...with my uncontrollable powers. I checked the clock. 8:00. I've got time.

"I can go out and get a new one." I volunteered.
"That's ok Raven. It's fine. I can just-" I cut him off.
"It's the least I can do since I broke it in the first place."
"Uh...okay. You know what type to get?" I nodded and left.

I needed to do this quickly. I entered the auto parts store and went up to the scruffy looking clerk.
"Hi can you tell me where the mufflers are?" It was actually a pretty big store. About as big as the movie rental place.
"They're in the back.  Say, what is a pretty girl like you doing in a place like this?" He asked. Oh you've got to be kidding me.
"Don't patronize me sir. I'm stronger than i look." I said and walked in the direction he pointed. I got the muffler I needed. Payed, and left. I check the town clock. 8:39. I should get home.

I walked down the coast line and listened to the ocean waves crash up against the rocks. When I got to the beach I lifted myself off of the ground and headed towards the Tower.

I hear thunder rolling in. Then a bright light came from the east. Yeah I should hurry up. I began flying at high speed. I saw the others waiting for me in the Ops Room, looking at me through the window. But then a flash, not from lightning, appeared in front of me. It was a bright red, then I fell out of the sky.

I fell into the water back and it felt like concrete.

"Ugh..." I tried flying up but I wouldn't budge.
"I guess I'll have to swim. I swam to the shore and got out of the water. I tried drying my self off with my powers and they worked. Strange. I tried levitating, and me feet left the ground. What the- what is going on?! All of a sudden I can't fly and then I'm totally fine? Why do I get the feeling that I'll find the answer around nine?

I walked upstairs and everyone greeted me.

"Friend Raven, are you okay? We saw the lightning and got the worried." Star asked.
"Yeah. And we saw you fall like a rock to the water." Beast Boy added.
"I'm fine. I don't know what happened, but it's not a big deal." They knew that was a lie. I sensed their disbelief. I wonder what they saw. "What exactly did you guys see?"
"Well, you were flying here when there was a thunder clap. Then you started going faster when the lightning struck." Cyborg started.
"And then you stopped. You looked genuinely afraid of something, and then you fell." Robin finished. I looked afraid? I wasn't afraid of anything. No seriously! Nothing was scary about it. Granted, I fell out of the sky, but I felt totally calm.

"That's weird." I said.
"What is?" Robin asked.
"You said I had a scared face, but I was not scared at all."
"C'mon Raven. You can talk about it. Remember last time?" Robin said.
"No. Seriously. I wasn't scared. Yeah, I was falling from the sky. But I was pretty calm."
"Then why did you look so scared?" Beast Boy asked.
"I don't know." I shrugged. "Anyways, here's your muffler Cyborg." I handed him the muffler.

"Thanks."

"Later." I said.
"Where are you going?" Cyborg asked.
"To my room." I made a slight nod to Robin and he nodded back.

I got out my mirror. I remembered when I first got this and when I first met my emotions. And when I first met Rage. Sigh...Trigon. I don't understand why he wants me.

I sat on the bed with my mirror in my hand when there was a knock on the door. I checked my clock. 9:02. I walked to the door.
"Who is it?"
"Robin." He said through the door. I let him in and closed the door behind him.
"So what actually happened just now?"
"Fine. All I saw was a bright red flash and that is when I fell. Happy now?" I saw him thinking.
"Do you think it could be...?" Of course. How did I not see that. I face palmed right in front of him.
"Of course. It's so obvious. Let's just go." I handed him the mirror and we looked into it and were instantly transported into my mind.

This is not good. The sky isn't black with a red tint, it's blood red. And the rock bridges are broken up a lot more than usual. Even the forbidden gates are falling apart.

"Raven, was it like this the last time you came in here?" He asked.
"No..."
"How is it supposed to be?" He asked. Idiot.
"Not like this." I said. Duh. "Follow me." I said. I walked trough the forbidden door. Nothing.

It's broken.

I touched the side of it and kept on walking. Then Timid ran into me. She looked more scared than usual.

"Sorry sorry sorry!" She apologized.
"It's fine Timid." I said as I brushed myself off.
"Hi Robin." She said shyly and waved.
"Raven, this is your timidity?" I threw my head back in frustration. I don't think the thought I could do "timid". What does he think I am? A robot. (Then again Star probably thinks the same way) Now Star is the only one that doesn't know. Maybe I should tell her.

Timid looks really worried.
"Timid, what's wrong this time?" I asked throwing my head back.
"Something really bad happened last night Raven. Rage got loose,  a-and when Happy, Passion, and Brave went to see what was going on, and when they came back, they all had 4 red eyes like Rage does! Then they captured Knowledge, Sloth, Lazy. They almost got me but I snuck away. I don't know where they are or what's going to happen to you." Timid went on.
"Raven. What does that mean about your emotions?" Robin asked. I stepped away from both of them and looked at my feet.

"It means that when I'm brave, happy, or passionate about anything...without rage following.
