It's been so long since I've seen him. He was taller, and his hair was longer. But beneath all that, I knew it was still him.

Still the guy I used to get in trouble with for talking in class. The guy who told me about his troubles, even when I didn't think we were that close. The guy who gave me hope... And then changed.

But that was last year. Now it's senior year, and I doubt he remembered me.

I saw her today. She still looked so short. But it was cute. It was the girl who I missed.

The girl who I quickly got along with. The girl who listened to everything I'd say. The girl I avoided.

After my first break up, I kinda shut her out. After that, I doubt she'd wanna remember me.

I had two classes with him! It was an agonizingly slow day. He bumped into me and all he said was "Hey."

All I could think was, 'Hey?! Really?!'

Nothing has pissed me off more so!

Damn! All I said was "Hey" when I bumped into her.

REALLY?!

Why didn't I say her name?!

I was walking home, still thinking back on him. I felt stupid for believing he might remember me.

I heard my name being called. I turned around.

I saw her walking home. I sighed, knowing it'd be too late by tomorrow.

"Who's that you're looking at?" my friend suddenly asked. She turned and looked at her. "Oh hey, I know her."

"Wha--?"

Before I could even form my question, she started calling out to her.

Oh no no no! He knew that girl in my class? Why? Are they dating? Oh god, why am I walking to her?!

I plastered on a smile and avoided looking at him.

"Oh, my mom's here! Bye!"

WHAT?! She just left me with him!

We both watched as she ran to a car and hopped in.

She was standing right next to me! I have to say something.

Please please please, I thought, please remember me.

I turned to him and plastered on an expectant smile. Maybe I should just say bye and walk away.

But a part of me hoped he'd still remember me.

And then he said my name.

"How have you been?" I said. Suddenly, her smile looked more genuine.

"I'm good. How are you?" I beamed at her reply.

"I've missed you!"

She looked surprised, but smiled anyway.

"I've missed you too."

I'm so happy you remembered me.
