Eugeo

It had been five days since our rescue attempt for rescuing Selka, and neither Kirito and I didn't tell her father about the incident in the End Mountains. 

Although I am fully grateful that we survived , barely, I still felt bad of letting Kirito get involved with it. 

He seems so completely different than we were kids. He seems more relaxed, but more serious about everything now. 

As I swung the axe on the Gigas Cedar, I hear Kirito's footsteps. 

"Hey, Eugeo. Do you have a moment to spare? " He asks me as I noticed that something is off. I knew him as kids for six years. 

He has something to get off his chest. "Kirito, what is it? " 

He rubs his head, unsure of what he was going to tell me. "I don't know how you would react if I told you, Eugeo." 

I put my hands to my hips, as if I knew that Kirito would never change, even though it has. I have been alone for six years, and one of my best friends has finally returned back to me. 

"Just tell me." I said, as we sat under the shade of the tree.

I really don't know if Eugeo would believe me or not. I mean, he misses Alice a lot, and me hearing her voice, wanting to reunite with us seems like a dream. 

I have to tell him. The young teen looks at me with a curious face, wither of it is good news or bad news. 

"Eugeo, I remember of how you were almost killed . It was scary at the moment. But there's something you should know. " 

"What you mean? Kirito, I don't understand." Eugeo asks me with a curious tone. 

I took a deep breath, as I was about to reveal the truth of what I had experienced. 

"It's Alice. I think I heard her, as I was saving you with Selka." I said, as Eugeo's eyes were in total shock and in disbelief. 

He raises up , "Are you positive it was Alice talking to you?" 

I nodded, "Yeah, I think so. I couldn't see her, but I somehow felt her presence and her voice speaking to me. " 

Eugeo was pacing as I was worried about my best friend.  

"Eugeo, I know it's been a long time , but are you feeling ok, man? It must been quite a shock." I said to him. 

As he finally stops pacing, he looks at me seriously. "Kirito, what did she say?"

I thought back, the presence of my old friend as I recited her words, "Kirito. Eugeo. I'm waiting. At the top of the Cathedral." 

"That means, she's alive! She's really alive after all these years. What a relief." Eugeo said, felt total relief, but I knew that this news will affect him. 

"Eugeo, you really want to find her, don't you?" I ask. 

He nods, "Yeah, but there is one catch. If we going to leave the Ruild Village, we have to finally cut this tree down. I've been cutting this tree for ages. " 

Then he remembers something. "Hey, Kirito, maybe this would help us. Wait here." 

He went to get something as I was being curious. What could he possibly be up to?

As he finally brought what he was carrying, he said, "Kirito, unwrap it. I bet that you would be absolutely be surprised of it." 

I was being curious as I unwrapped the beige wrappings as I gasp of the sword before me. 

"Eugeo, is this what I think it is?" I ask him. 

In my true amazement, I never thought I would ever see The Blue Rose Sword again. It felt ages of seeing it when I was just a child. 

But then memories came flooding back to me , to the day that Alice was taken by the Intergry Knight. 

Eugeo nods at me, looking at the sword, "Yeah, it's The Blue Rose Sword, the one that we found at the End Mountains when we were children." 

I looked at the beautiful sword, examining it. It appears to be in a great shape, as if nobody has ever touched the legendary sword. 

"I just can't believe it. You kept it after all this time, ever since we were kids? Eugeo, I can't believe you actually hid it from the village." I said to him. 

Eugeo rubs his head, sheepishly, as if he truly surprised me when it least expected. Although, I knew that he wasn't able to wield a sword yet. 

I look at him curiously, "Did you ever um, tried to wield the sword on your own?" 

He said, looking at the sword, "Well, I did try, but it does weigh a lot. I really had hoped of one day of someday I can actually wield it on my own." 

That was when an idea had formed in my mind. Maybe it's time for him to actually wield it and we can finally leave in search of Alice. 

"Eugeo, I've been thinking. You said that you tried wielding the Blue Rose Sword on your own, but you don't exactly have the right proper way of using a sword having you?" I asked. 

He looks at me with a curious expression. "Kirito, what you getting at here?" 

"Well, how about I train you of using the Blue Rose Sword properly? " I suggested as his eyes were in total shock and amazement. 

He said, "Kirito, are you sure? I mean, you're too experienced with being a Swordsmen , how can I be one?"

"Eugeo, you desperately wanted Alice to come back to you, this is your opportunity to shine and take it. 

Just trust me." I said, giving him encouragement. 

His expression changes for a moment from self-doubt to a determination. 

"Ok, Kirito.  It's going to be fun. It's been a long time since both of us hang out as friends . Just being curious... What is your Sword Style?" 

I realized that as well. Even though I never named my sword skills before in SAO, but I guess there is a name I wanted to name in a long time. 

"My sword Style... is Aincrad-Style. It's skill is Horizonal." I explained to him as Eugeo seems to recall the skill I've used to prove to Zink that I am part of the Ruild Village and making him to stop teasing him.

"Isn't that the Skill you used that time when you show off that you were a swordsmen?  You really think I can master that skill?" He asks. 

"You will. I know you , Eugeo. Don't give in so easily. Even if it's against the Taboo Index." I said, making a point. 

His training began. I gave him some pointers and I watch him as he practices everyday, including in the rain, showing that he would do anything to see Alice again. 

Watching him, it totally reminds me of myself, as being in Aincrad and being a beta solo player. 

I never imagined that I would be an mentor. 

For every second I'm here in the Underworld, I begin to wonder, does Asuna know where am I , and would she be worried?

Ever since I heard that Daddy had dived into the Underworld, I knew that he is going to be fine. I mean, he had dealt a lot of things since SAO. 

I saw Mommy who was sitting next to Daddy's unconious body. She seems completely worried, but I don't exactly blamed her. 

Ever since they adopted me, I can sense how passionate , kind, and how they cared for each other. 

"Mommy?" I asked, as she saw me, as I transformed from my fairy form into my human form. 

I touched her shoulder, "You know... I believe Daddy would be absolutely fine. I bet that he would find his way back to you, Mommy. 

You just have to believe in him." 

Mommy seems to be surprised and amazed of how calm I was. "Yui.. how could you be so calm with your Daddy being unconious and being in Underworld?" 

I said, smiling, "Because , I know Daddy. He wouldn't give up no matter what the stakes are. If there is someone out there that he cares about, he would try to help that person. And he also cares about you too, Mommy. " 

Mommy seems to be calmer now, as if my words had given her some insight of what Daddy would do. 

Suddenly , she begins to laugh. 

"You know what, Yui? You're absolutely right. Kirito wouldn't give in too easily, I just worried about him, that he would do something reckless.

But .. that is what Kirito really is. " 

I walked to his body , as I smiled too, as I touched his hair, "Come back soon, Daddy. We missed you so much."
