Harry's POV

" I don't think I trust you guys. I mean this could be anybody, there are millions of videos on YouTube." I retorted.

"So you don't believe us, do you?" Niall asked raising an eyebrow.
"Nope." I said popping the p.
Niall looked at Naomi and kept a hand on her shoulder said "How about some live action then?"

Naomi swung her head towards Niall giving utmost consent said "Aye aye Captain Nathan!"
"It's NIALLLLLLL" Niall replied.
"Ok Junior Peters, show me what you've got." I said looking at Naomi while she was fidgeting on her phone.

Then Naomi played the video , whose content I failed to understand, a video when played my brain couldn't take in 1% of which , a video , I was puzzled , so Stuffing the food in my hand inside my mouth I took the phone from Naomi's hand and tried to hear what was being played cause all I could see in the clip was nothing but constant movement of a body which actually made the video hazy but then I heard a voice among the noise of the canteen a voice which made me feel warm and comfortable . This voice gave me solace amidst the chaos, it was calming and placid and had an essence of serenity within it . I soon recognized that it was the same as that of Naomi's ringtone.

When I tried to concerntrate on the sound rather than the video, I realized it was none other than Natalie. It really was her, her voice is like an added bonus in her temperament , she really was the epitome of beauty. "Ehhhh this is Natalie." I responded.

"So... now you believe us!" Naomi retorts.

"If she has got such a good voice why hasn't she auditioned for the musical yet, we are in need of a female lead."I informed.
"Audition ? Dude! she is Natalie not Naomi, I cannot imagine Nat to go up on stage and fight for her role, and calling people names which are not theirs and expecting them to reply." Niall replied.

"Shut up Norman......" to this address of Naomi Niall gave her a nauseating look, in response Naomi placed her hand on Niall's face pushing him backwards, then looked at me and continued..... "It's just that she is very shy".

" Although it's compulsory for us to be in one of the clubs being scholarship students, but I also know this Nat will never audition, until she is forced to." Naomi suggests.

" I guess I got a new job in my hand then eh." I looked at both of them with a smirk.
"Hey no funny business with my sister or else I am coming for u!!!" Naomi threatened me.
"As u say Junior Peters."

Natalie's POV

I was sitting in the library with my Economics text books in hand, trying to calm myself down. I don't even know why I feel so embarrassed whenever that voice note rings. I mean I do have a good voice, ... but 'you don't have the courage and the charisma to carry out a performance and you are way too shy' ... my conscience reminded me.

While I was contemplating and conceptualizing my own conduct I see the same tall figure and green orbs staring at me, trying to figure out exactly what I am doing .

"Hey." He said. "H-hi" I replied.

"Look Nat I will get straight to the point, we need a female lead in the musical, I would like you to audition for that." Harry said.

"B-but H-harry I c-can't."

"Why not?"

Just when I thought I was going to reply to him tears ruptured , Harry gave me an apologetic look, as if to say sorry but he did not understand why I didn't want to audition.

Naomi enters along with Niall.
"Nat we are going to be there with you in the audition , I don't think there should be any further problem." Naomi said.

"But Naomi you know I get very panicky singing in front of an audience." I don't do well with spectators, onlookers, viewers... in short people. Social situations or being watched and judged gives me the creeps. Might have to do something with the fact that we girls are being judged every step of the way, and if you are girls born in Indian family the misogynistic mindset always makes you think you are beneath every man and you can never achieve a goal. It either turns us into over achievers or under achievers.

"But you are not alone love, I am gonna be right by your side," Harry replied.

Just when Harry said this , he smiled at me assuring his support to me and I couldn't help but smile along with him. Why aren't all men like him, just an encouraging and sympathetic person , who is by your side no matter what. I could have literally been immersed in his oceanic hued eyes, but I was brought out of my stupor with Naomi cuffing me with her elbow and eyeing me to come to a side, I obliged .

"Love..... pyaaaaaarrrr..........ishqqqqqqqq" I was confused why did Naomi even say that , I mean I knew why , just because Harry was the first guy friend I had ever had she took it into consideration, that we were in love with each other. I shouted "NOOOOOOOOOOO." Niall and Harry looked at us in shock, asking what had happened . We both shrugged as if to say nothing transpired.

Harry grappled my hands and announced "Not a single word Natalie, we are having the auditions in the next period, you've got 15 minutes to prepare."

AFTER 15 MINUTES

I was quiet calm after the assurance given to me by Harry, Naomi and Niall , they were all present there with me so that I would have a good audition, as soon as I saw the first girl sing, my heart raced in the speed of Mach 3, I felt as though I was about to jump off a cliff, all I wanted was to get out of the room ASAP.

I was literally having a panic attack when I heard those soothing words from him,"Remember I am right here by your side , Love."

Just when he said that he addressed to Mr. Jensen the director of the musical, proposing my name and motioned me to sing. When I was un-willing to sing , he held my hand intertwined his fingers with mine, looked me in the eye, and the music started to play. I don't even remember singing the song, I was lost in his eyes felt like they comforted me when I needed them the most. It was as though he had put me under some kind of trance, and I just had to follow his every command. The daze was broken with a round of applause, and Mr Jensen granting me the female lead. Naomi jumped out of nowhere and pulled me into a hug.

"I knew you could do it." announced an ecstatic Harry hauling me in an embrace. His hands were huge against my tiny body, tones up very muscular. But they provided me the amiability I needed at that instant.

Harry had his back turned towards the window, and when I opened my eyes still locked in his clasp, I noticed her staring through the window, wearing that same red uniform, with that obvious fuming look on her face, this time it felt as though it was for me , but then she left even before I could approach her.
