As I said, marvel_struckk won the contest with help from KatieGuinn: It was Steve Rogers at the Pentagon and Clint Barton at the FBI!

But this chapter goes to agent_oblivion for awesome fanfics. Any Hawkeye lovers out there, check out Games of Deception. It. Is. AWESOME!

OK. Back to the story. ENJOY! (sorry. I'm hyper. WAAAH!) :) :)

Gibbs looked up to see Ziva and Tony coming back from their conference. "What did Mr. Jenkins have to say?" he asked.

"He assured us that no one would have ever wanted to kill the Commander and that she was a role model for all," Ziva replied. "But I still believe he was hiding something."

"About what?"

"Lieutenant Sears," Tony answered. "He seemed devastated to learn that she was dead."

"Sounds like the twin knew Sears well," McGee stated.

"Maybe too well," Ziva agreed.

"Well, I have info that could prove that true," Natasha announced as she arrived, dropping her folder on her desk. "According to Mr. Sears, his wife talked about Ryan Jenkins a lot."

"We have a motive," Gibbs decided. "If the Lieutenant was having an affair with the Commander’s brother, her husband stabbed her to kill her, and when the Commander saw him, he shot her."

"Why use two different weapons, though?" Ziva asked.

"To cover himself up," Tony replied.

"I don’t think so."

Everyone’s head shot towards Natasha, who was looking at her computer oddly. "Natasha?" Gibbs urged.

She blinked, then narrowed her eyes when she realized all four of them were staring right at her. "What?" she asked.

"You said you didn’t think Mark did it," McGee told her worriedly.

"No, I didn’t," Natasha replied, grinning.

"Yes, you did," Gibbs shot back at her. "Are you OK?"

"I’m fine, Gibbs," Natasha countered, standing up. "And if you just want to make sure, I’ll go down to Ducky and have him check. OK?"

With that, she left the bullpen, leaving four very shocked agents staring after her.

"Is it just me?" Tony wondered out loud, "or is she going insane?"

Ducky was humming to himself the same exact song Gibbs scolded him for when he realized that there was someone behind him. "How long have you been standing there?" he asked.

"Only a few minutes."

Ducky turned from Commander Jenkins’s body to see Natasha leaning against the filing cabinets. "Ah, Natalia," he greeted her, calling her by her Russian name. "What can I do for you?"

"I need a favor," she replied. "Can you do it?"

Ducky shrugged. "Well, it depends on what the favor is."

Natasha walked over, looking at each body. "What are their blood types?"

Ducky blinked: it was an odd question. "Abigail said that the Commander’s was O positive," he answered cautiously. "The Lieutenant’s was AB negative."

"The Lieutenant’s, then," Natasha decided.

"I’m sorry?"

Natasha looked back at Ducky, and he was shocked to see the pain in her eyes, the tiredness etched into her face. "Natalia, if you’re not well – "

"That’s why I’m down here, Ducky," she said softly, leaning against the table. "I need a blood test to make sure, under the cover of Lieutenant Sears’s blood. Don’t have Abby tell Gibbs, though."

Ducky looked at Natasha, then nodded. "Very well. But why?"

Natasha looked down at the ground. "I lied to Gibbs, and to Director Vance. I know who attacked me, and it’s not a good thing. I need to know what he did to me before I tell everyone else."

Ducky pondered this. "Come here."

Almost as if she was being controlled by someone else, Natasha shuffled over. Ducky raised a hand to her forehead, slowly, remembering how Natasha reacted to a man trying to touch her. When she didn’t react, he nodded, taking his hand down. "It’s a normal skin temperature. Sit down."

Natasha obediently sat down, and Ducky took a blood stick and walked back over. "My neck," Natasha told him.

Ducky nodded, reaching up to Natasha’s neck. He inserted the needle and drew enough blood to run a sample off of, then used a cotton ball to dab blood off of her neck. "Done."

"Thanks," she whispered.

"It is my duty to help anyone sick," he reminded her. "I will keep your secret."

Natasha nodded blankly, then left the morgue.

"Ma’am!"

Sighing, she turned away from the computer she was at. Of all of the times her assistant had to call her, it had to be now. "What?" she barked.

"We have a match on one of them."

Her heart spiking, the scientist rushed over to her assistant. "Which one?"

Her assistant swiveled the screen so that it faced her boss. "Three."

The scientist’s eyes widened as she processed the face. And recognized it. "What was it?"

"A test, unknown yet. But it’s highly classified, most likely not good."

"Trace it. And let me know when you find out what it is."

"I will."

The scientist turned back to her computer, trying to ignore her thumping heart. If her assistant was telling the truth, she might have to call one of her best friends back from somewhere away. Very far away.

*guess the POV for dedication (although pretty obvious)!*

Calcutta, India

A long time had passed since he had last thought about his new friends.

He worked on his laptop, trying to trace as much gamma radiation as he could when he found something interesting enough to draw his attention away from his current patients upstairs. "What the heck?" he muttered, his fingers darting across the keys.

The results from the test he had seen sprung up, and his eyes widened. "Oh my God," he breathed.

Something was very wrong on the other side of the world.

"Abby!"

Abby turned and smiled. "Jimmy!" she exclaimed, hugging Ducky’s assistant as he walked up. "How’s Breena?"

"She’s doing wonderful," he assured her. "She wanted to say thanks for the CDs, by the way."

"Oh, no problem. I have about five of each right now anyway."

Jimmy blinked. "Um, did you run the sample of the blood Dr. Mallard gave you?"

Abby nodded. "Yes, and it’s very odd." She pulled up the results, and she showed Jimmy the screen. "The blood was AB negative, which is blood common elsewhere in the world besides the USA, and it was laced with poison."

Abby noted Jimmy’s lack of color suddenly. "What type of poison?"

"Gamma," she replied. "And that person did not have very long to live." She looked at him closely. "Which case is this a part of?"

"Dr. Mallard didn’t say," Jimmy replied. "Can we have the blood back?"

Abby nodded, closing out of the results, but not before she saved it first. "Of course."

She removed the vial from her scanners and handed it to Jimmy, and he was out of the lab in a flash.

Abby frowned. "Hmm." She turned back to her screens, then made a decision.

Clicking the results from the blood test, she started running a DNA match on the blood. When the results popped up within seven seconds, her eyes narrowed. "That was fast," she muttered, but when the ID of the blood’s owner popped up, her eyes widened again. "Holy cow!" she yelped, very glad no one was in the room to hear her.

She jabbed at her phone and dialed the number she needed to. Once the person picked up, Abby didn’t wait for the person to answer. "Get the hell down here!"

***

Natasha rushed into Abby’s lab a minute after she had gotten the phone call. "What did you find?" she panted, entering the lab.

Abby turned towards her, arms folded. "Ducky gave me a blood sample to run."

"Yeah," Natasha replied. "I saw him take the sample from Lieutenant Sears."

"It was AB negative."

"Lieutenant Sears’s report said she was AB negative."

"So are you."

Natasha frowned. "Cut to the chase, Abby."

"Fine!" Abby practically shouted at her. "You’re dying!"

Natasha’s blood ran cold, but she had been expecting that answer. "I figured."

Abby scowled. "Yeah? Well, you’d better be prepared."

"How long do I have?"

Abby narrowed her eyes, then pulled up the results. "At best? Six months."

"And at worst?"

Abby sighed. "Half of that."

Natasha swallowed. So even if she could figure out how to arrange the others, what could they do to help her? "Thanks, Abby."

"Why did Ducky ask me to run the blood in the first place?"

Natasha looked at Abby, then gave up. Abby deserved to know. "My attacker on the Blackhawk killed Lieutenant Sears and Commander Jenkins."

Abby’s eyes widened. "You know who it is?"

"Someone who is not from around here, and is not easily caught. Not even Gibbs or Ziva could catch him sleeping, Abby. This man is serious, and he’s out for revenge." She swallowed. "Against me."

"What did you do to him?"

Natasha grinned. "I revealed a weak point to him, and in return he revealed his secret plans without even figuring out that he did."

Abby’s stern look cracked as she smiled back. "You are a black widow at that, Natasha."

Natasha nodded. "Yes, I am. And I am hoping you tell no one of those results."

Abby looked confused. "Why?"

"You are the only one besides Ducky who knows of my attacker. No one else does, and I would like to keep it that way as long as possible."

Abby considered, then nodded. "And if something happens to you?"

Natasha swallowed again. "If something happens, I will tell you exactly what to do. It will be locked until you figure out how to open it. You will know when the time comes."

Abby blinked. "That’s all?"

Natasha nodded. "You would have the most important job, Abby. After that, if someone becomes too suspicious or finds out about the poison . . . " She looked down. "Tell them."

Abby rushed forward and hugged Natasha, almost knocking her off of her feet. "I will. I promise."

Natasha hugged Abby back. "Thanks, Abbs. You’re the best."

Abby patted Natasha on the back. "It’s the least I can do. Now go, before the Director thinks you’re out in the field."

Natasha grimaced and left, thinking about everything she heard. Three to six months. It wasn’t a lot of time.

But still, she knew that she had to get things done.

The question was whether she could take Loki down before he did the same to her.

MAJOR drama bomb! Don't worry, Nat's gonna be around for the end of the story . . . possibly. ;) So, comment, my viewers! And guess the POVs (although pretty obvious if you look for where they are)!
