Disappear

"Robbie and I'll be back in a bit." Marvin told Jackaboy quietly as he glanced over at Robbie, Anti, Chase, and Schneep sleeping in the living room, JJ in his room.

"You sure you're up for it? You were out for awhile." Jackaboy countered warily, the magician nodding in response as he tip toed over to the sleeping egos and gently woke up the zombie.

"You wanna see Jack?" Marvin asked with a grin, the zombie instantly brightening as he bounced up off of the floor.

Marvin created the portal and dragged Robbie in behind him, the zombie tottering behind Marvin towards Jack's room.

Robbie paused when he saw someone running through the hall, the zombie following after them to join their game.

The figure stopped at their room and opened the door, freezing when they spotted Robbie running after them.

The patient was a young girl with long brown hair tied up in a ponytail, her chocolate brown eyes staring into Robbie's pale blue ones.

"Hi, I'm Alice! What about you?" Alice introduced herself.

"Robbie zombie, Robbie lonely though." The zombie admitted, Alice skipping up to him with a smile.

"We should play a game!" Alice suggested excitedly, Robbie hastily nodding in enthusiastic agreement.

"Hmmm.....I know, hide and seek!" Alice exclaimed.

"Robbie hide!" The purple haired zombie declared, starting to stumble off away from Alice until he felt her tug on the sleeve of his shirt.

"I'm scared to lose you like how I lost my parents, please don't go." Alice begged, Robbie kneeling in front of Alice so he was eye level with her.

"Robbie never gone, Robbie always here." The zombie stated, poking Alice in the chest where her heart was.

"Robbie hide, then Alice find Robbie." Robbie replied, Alice closing her eyes and counting as Robbie walked off.

"Robbie hide here." Robbie decided, finding a nearby room and walking inside.

A girl around Alice's age with short brown hair and forest green eyes was laying in bed staring at the ceiling, tears silently trailing down her cheeks.

"Who are you?" The girl asked shyly as she sat up, looking at Robbie.

"Robbie hiding from Alice, Alice looking for Robbie." Robbie explained, her expression filled with shock.

"My name's Sam, is this Alice person hurting you?" The girl questioned worriedly, Robbie shaking his head.

"No, Robbie and Alice playing hide and seek." Robbie assured her.

"Oh..." the girl trailed off as she flopped back down onto her bed, Robbie curling up beside her on the bed.

"What are you doing?" Sam giggled, Robbie shooting her a goofy grin.

"Robbie helping." The zombie stated as if the answer was obvious, Sam absent mindlessly running her fingers through his hair.

"Ha, I found you!" Alive crowed proudly as she walked into the room, Sam flinching away from her.

"Hi, I'm Alice! What's your name?" Alice greeted Sam, the short haired girl hopping off of her bed.

"S-Sam." She stuttered nervously, Alice pulling her into a hug.

"That's a pretty name. We should be friends!" Alice squealed, Sam's eyes widening in surprise.

"Re-really? I...I've never had a friend before since I'm so shy." Sam confessed, blushing a bright red as she awkwardly rubbed the back of her neck.

"It's okay, I've never had a friend either since I've been living in this hospital ever since my parents abandoned me here as a baby." Alice comforted Sam.

"Sam play game?" Robbie chimed in hopefully, Sam hesitating as she glanced back at her bed.

"Please?" Alice added pleadingly, Sam smiling at the girl as she returned her attention to Alive and Robbie.

"Sure."

Robbie, Sam, and Alice played games like hide and seek and tag throughout the hospital, nurses smiling as they watched them play in the halls.

"Robbie!"

Robbie stopped running when he heard Marvin's voice, the magician's tone filled with anger as he stormed towards Robbie.

"H-hey, leave Robbie alone!" Sam cried as she reached Robbie, the two girls stepping in front of him.

"Has he been bothering you?" Marvin asked the girls, both of them shaking their heads.

"Good. He has to come with me." Marvin sighed, Sam and Alice hugging the zombie goodbye before walking down the hall together talking about games they could play together.

Marvin brought Robbie to Jack's room and sank down into the chair by the Irishman's bed, the zombie nuzzling Jack's hand with his head.

"Robbie miss Jack, Robbie want Jack." Robbie whimpered, Marvin closing his eyes and letting out a long shaky breath.

"I miss him too bud." Marvin whispered, his voice cracking with emotion as he stood up.

"We should go." Marvin announced, Robbie whining as Marvin grabbed he zombie's hand so he didn't wander off on their way out of the hospital.

Robbie spotted Sam and Alice playing games as he left, waving goodbye to them as he left the hospital with Marvin.

When they returned home, Anti was arguing in the living room with Jackaboy once more, JJ trying to calm them down while Schneep soothes Chase as the male dug his fingernails into his arms.

"HEY!" Marvin shouted, everyone falling still as they looked at him and Robbie.

"Marvin, did everything go okay?" Jackaboy demanded, Marvin nodding in reply.

"Hah, I told you that Robbie would be fine with Marvin!" Jackaboy laughed smugly, Anti rolling his eyes with a glower at the hero.

Robbie staggered as a wave of lightheadedness washed over him, the zombie feeling as if the room was spinning around him as he fell to the floor.

"Robbie!" Jackaboy cried, catching the zombie in his arms.

"Robbie...Robbie sleepy...very...sleepy." Robbie murmured, his eyes fluttering shut no matter how much the hero shook Robbie to try and keep him awake.

Schneep darted to the zombie's side and felt for his pulse, biting his lower lip as he looked at the other egos.

"Robbie's fading."

"This is what I was talking about!" Anti snapped furiously, Jackaboy shooting the demon a glare that made him instantly fall silent.

All attention turned to Schneep as the emergency phone in his pocket, the German quickly answering it.

Schneep's face paled as he listened to the call, the voice on the other end only audible to him as he stood up and started pacing.

"Ok...let me know if anything else changes." Schneep answered before ending the call, sticking the phone back in his pocket.

"Jack has amnesia that is making him start to forget parts of his personality." Schneep stated grimly, looking over at Robbie's body.

"God, I never thought it would happen, especially to Robbie." Chase murmured, shaking his head.

"So Jack doesn't remember his child-like self." Marvin mused, Anti glancing at the magician.

"Robbie's only the first. If he forgets more of his personality..." Anti trailed off, the others knowing what he was thinking.

"If Jack forgets himself, he forgets us too." Marvin summed up grimly.

"It's okay, we'll, um, we can-" Jackaboy broke off as his voice cracked with emotion, the hero looking broken as he hung his head.

"Jack won't forget all of us, right?" Chase interjected optimistically.

None of the other egos replied as they went to their rooms to find ways for Jack to remember the different parts of himself, Robbie's body disappearing as if he was a hologram that never existed.
