Chapter 6: Ark's Final Stretch
Bakugou howled with excitement, "fuck yes I can move my arm again!" The boy had his hand held within the air, a bloodied bandage wrapped around his wrist, balling his hand into a fist then relaxing as he felt the muscles within his arm contract and loosen with his desired actions. Bakugou couldn't express how relieved he was to have gotten rid of his elastic sling. For the better part of a week he's been running around with one useless arm, even though he has you to thank for making it useless in the first place.
You found his excitement to be... Adorable. Of all things this explosive boy could be, he had to be adorable. Who knew one boy could get so overly excited over something so little? It beats the usual all so easily aggravated Bakugou you've came to know, especially when Bakugou's finally treating you as his equal. Bakugou no longer called you Ark either. Being his equal felt like more than a title, it was a sense of accomplishment. Meaning you've came so far from where you originated just one week ago having not even a clue as to who Bakugou was, now it felt as if you were falling for him all over again.
Ark is nearly dead. (Y/n) isn't all that far away anymore. If anything, you could reach out and touch her at this very moment if you so desired. All it needed was something, anything, to jumpstart your brain. Like a gentle push...
You grinned, amused with Bakugou and his momentary antics. "You may have your arm back, but I'm still sick. If anything I've learned to appreciate the little things."
"Something tells me you're milking it," Kurogiri spoke, handing you a chilled washcloth he pulled from an ice bucket within the bar sink.
You pout. "Why would I milk this?", you pressed the chilled washcloth to your searing forehead. The cold prickly fabric gave birth to an array of goosebumps along your forearms; the water ran down your face like a trickle of spring rain. "If I could leave the bar I would! I'm starting to get cabin fever..." You may be acting fine for the most part, but your fever, if agitated, would make you pass out. Assuming you're fine led to Shigaraki asking you to go on another hostage mission after his last one with a handful of UA students fell through. You fought hard, only to pass out half way into a brawl with a male student from Shiketsu High with a raging wind quirk. Although the wind felt nice, refreshing, running around and throwing punches didn't help your already sickly frail position.
Bakugou claims that your constant need to pass out is a result of an accident back when you went to UA. Apparently there was a ceiling collapse during a class exercise, you got a head injury, and since then you've been more prone to headaches and more sound sensitive too. Makes perfect sense actually, normally flashbacks would come in and help you out with remembering everything, just mentioning a certain subject would trigger them, except you haven't had a single one since Bakugou had devoted himself to getting your memories back. There has to be a reasonable explanation for such, right? Unless it was (Y/n) taking off the training wheels assuming you can ride everything alone from then on. If so... You appreciate the inner decision.
Unfortunately, Kurogiri had dropped the conversation as a whole. He really was persuaded that his fellow villain-child was milking the hospitality that came with being ill. Afterall, he's noticed Bakugou and yourself had gotten inseparably close out of the blue. Not that that's a bad thing, Kurogiri has been patiently awaiting for your memories to return so that he can 'let' you both escape. However, he can't let you go all so soon; Kurogiri can tell you aren't exactly 'ready' yet. It's just a hunch though...
Kurogiri stepped out of the room, desiring a moment of secluded silence. "With Mommy-Giri gone," you hummed upon hearing a distant door open and close. Your eyes wandered the bar to make sure nobody else from the League was here besides Bakugou himself. Toga is known to hide around, Dabi is rarely here unless necessary or if he feels the need to edge you on, Twice is almost always with one of those two with no apparent reasoning behind it, Compress is almost always with Shigaraki who also isn't here due to matters with the Big Man as you like to call him. Shigaraki encouraged you to come along saying that 'father' can fix what he broke in the first place. He's alarmed with how your mental state is doing, despite how unempathetic Shigaraki comes off to be. In reality though, he's just tired with how many episodes you tend to have on a daily basis and wants them to stop. Plus, even if Kurogiri was here, he wouldn't rat you two out. "Tell me more about my memories Bakugou!" You encouraged the boy.
"I don't really have much else to tell you," Bakugou tuts. "Told you everything I can remember..."
"No there has to be more than you're telling me!" Bakugou has only told you about how the two of you fought on the first week of school and the ceiling collapse. Nothing else. There has to be more than he's letting on, why else did Bakugou claim he dated your previous self? He can't love a girl who has a blank slate.
"Fine," Bakugou groaned. No sense in turning you down at a time like now. "What do you want to know you persistent son of a bitch?" Bakugou has his assumptions. You're bound to ask about All Might, probably will ask about Aizawa too. Basically, your center of focus will be your relations with other people since big event memories have been explained for the most part.
"Tell me about you and all of my friends," You leaned over the bar counter, resting your head atop the palms of your hands. Yup, Bakugou assumed correctly. "Why did we become friends in the first place? When did you learn that you liked me to some degree? Did we share any friends?" These were the important questions, the questions that'll build on the life you had before the League. The second you leave this place, you want to resume life as it was as if you never left in the first place. Being gone for a month and a half is really hard to accept...
"You were such a pussy," Bakugou snickered to his own comment. However you frowned to the comments. "I'm not so sure when we became friends but I was so tired of you acting like a pussy that I bullied you into beating my ass. Yeah, it got us detention, but we talked like humans."
"And you're proud of that?" Your eyes were large. Isn't detention supposed to be bad? It's a school's way of serving jail time!
"I mean we technically beat each others ass," Bakugou shrugged, taking a seat atop the counter next to where you stood. "I don't regret bullying you (Y/n). You're not a pussy anymore, plus the very next day we got paired together to beat the shit out of Deku-"
"Isn't that the exercise where I got the head injury?" You assumed.
"Yeah," Bakugou said. "I also took most of the pain that day."
"How? Didn't everyone get caught up in that accident."
"It was a risky move, I think I shielded you from the collapse," Bakugou scratched his chin, even his memories were a bit hazy but nowhere near like yours. "Afterwards I just wanted to make sure you were alright since the accident took you out of school for a week. Since then, we just sort of stuck together," even Bakugou wasn't sure how the two of you became friends in the first place. Everything just sort of happened like this and then that and now you're his closest friend.
"Thank you for saving me then," you bowed your head. "Something tells me I never thanked you in the first place."
"That's because the second I told you I left before you could say anything."
"Wait what?" You blinked. "I was right? Why didn't you let me thank you then?"
"Cause I was crushing on you hard then," Bakugou growled, trying to hide his true feelings even now. You saw the tips of his ears blaze beat red, he's still trying to hide those feelings! "I thought you were badass, that's why I began liking you in the first place. You're even more badass now-" Bakugou shook his head violently with a growl. "Change the damn subject!" He snapped.
"Tell me about my friends," you hummed, although you were highly amused with Bakugou's desperate need to change the subject, you respected his wishes. "I know I have a few friends. What about Todoroki and Deku? Their names keep popping up around here," especially Todoroki, you must admit. Everytime you see Dabi all you think of is Endeavor and Shoto. Wait... Are they related? Would that explain why they all have mirrored eyes?
"I have no damn clue what your relationship with either of them are," Bakugou scoffed. "The only people you need to remember are me, Shitty Hair, Dunceface, Aizawa, and Purple Bastard."
"W-Who?" Such insulting names...
"Kirishima and Kaminari are two annoying shits who won't leave us alone. One has red hair, the other one was a blonde airhead who electrocuted you in the Festival on accident," clearly Bakugou doesn't think highly of his peers. "You fought Aizawa back in the forest when you captured me, he adopted you and you lived with him," pretty straight forwards. Sounds like Aizawa is the only guy Bakugou respects out of everyone mentioned being he's the only one Bakugou referred to by name. "Purple Bastard is a bastard," oh great, now we know who Bakugou hates the most. "His name is Shinso and apparently you saved him as a kid and reunited in the Festival... And apparently to get me jealous you kissed him too," you shrunk backwards, Bakugou's eyes were gleaming with a waking hatred. "You were in the hospital the last time I called you out for it. I won't deny I'm jealous, I'm fucking pissed! Time to pay up bitch..."
"*Cough* *cough* but I'm still sick," you whimpered. As if that reasoning would make him back down...
"Fine," Bakugou hopped down from the counter. "You're one lucky bitch..."
"I didn't expect you to give in," you pursed you lips. "Oh wait," it all hit you. "You're flirting with me!!!"
"You've always been dense," Bakugou smirked.
"Well you also have a unique way of doing it," you crossed your arms. "Who considers threats as flirting? Oh right... You do," you must admit Bakugou is one difficult boy. It's so hard to read his emotions half of the time and now he's flirting and you're only half aware of it...
"I'd be nicer if my girlfriend was back for real!" Bakugou lashed out with his anger.
"I am here HELLO!!!" You waved your hands before his face forcefully yet nothing touched him.
"Oh fuck off!" Bakugou bit your hand.
"Wh-what!?" You squeaked, retracting your hand. There was a teeth imprint where yourthumb met the rest of your hand. Where his canines were assumed to be had blood pooling up in the crevices. "You fucker drew blood!"
"You're not MY (Y/n)," Bakugou spits upon the floor, he couldn't stand the taste of your blood toying around with his tongue. "You may have most of (Y/n)'s memories back, but it isn't the same Ark."
"Oh now you're gonna be picky?" And here you thought everything was looking up. "Y-Yeah I'm not the same (Y/n) you know and love but I'm trying to be. Why else have I been asking you non-stop about my past? I want to b-" The train of thought had stopped completely. Your fingertips began to gradually grow tingly, losing feeling all together.
Bakugou more than noticed your sudden change in behavior. He watched carefully as you stared down at your own hands, shakily gripping them over and over, each time more shakier than the last. "You want what?" Bakugou hesitated to ask, he feels that you're about to have an episode.
"I want to... I want to..." You forcefully closed your eyes as they stung, all dry and beginning to gloss over. "H-Help..." Your body grew heavy out of the blue, all weight being shifted as you swayed to and fro. Your feet stumbling over one another until everything shifted and next thing you knew you were lying on your back staring at the wooden ceiling. No words came to your lips, no thoughts could motivate your muscles to constrict and manage a movement except for a minor twitch of your head like a 'tick.'
Why can't I move? Why can't I do anything? What's happening? Bakugou... Bakugou please help me... Bakugou help me come back...

"Remind me again why we're in disguises?" Midoriya complained, the fake goatee he wore was agitating his chin horribly. It was also nightfall, the bronze shades that hid his eyes of emerald took away the ability to see on a night so dark only for the streetlamps and electronic billboards to illuminate the streets. Besides that, this disguise wasn't really doing it's job. Anybody who's seen Midoriya's head of bushy greens is bound to recognize him within the instant.
Kirishima pats the boy on the back. Kirishima has also donned a disguise. A black leather jacket, dark jeans, a white t-shirt, golden jewelry, straightened crimson hair and silver antlers. In fact, Kirishima kind of looked like a celebrity all relaxed with clothes that perfectly complemented his bulky figure. "We're going undercover Midoriya! Shoto, Ya-momo, and Iida swear on their lives that they saw (Y/n) capture Bakugou back in the mountains. We're going to get them back whether it kills us or not! (Y/n) and Bakugou are my best friends!" Just before class exams not too long ago, Kirishima himself, Bakugou, Midoriya, Shoto, and Shinsou all searched about the many japan districts in search of you alone or maybe even a sign of a villain hideout. Thanks to the search then, most districts in Japan were free of villains for the most part leaving little areas left to search. But where are the villains? That's where Momo comes in.
"No doubt Zucc was familiar with (Y/n), that's all I can confirm," Momo frowned. She threw a handful of her curly raven hair from atop her shoulder to hang at her backside.
"Um..." Shoto hummed. "Did I not tell you?"
"Tell me what?" Momo perked up.
"I never left Bakugou's side in the forest, I was around long enough and all those elemental villains in the forest were actually clones of (Y/n). Or... At least that's what I heard. Then again, (Y/n) went by a different name back there and she was with this scarred villain who had a fire quirk," there's also the possibility that that black version of yourself could've also been a clone. Then again, all of the other clones were exceptionally fragile while Ark was taking on large amounts of damage and didn't melt into a pile of sludge. Nope, Ark was the real (Y/n). No doubts about it.
"We were fighting clones?" Momo frowned. Never did she ever want to fight a fellow classmate. All she could do it remember how she slashed open the chest of Zucc... Now she feels guilty, as if she killed her own classmate knowing that Zucc was actually you.
"Unlike you, I don't really feel any remorse," Todoroki admits much to his own dismay. "(Y/n) is a villain now and we need to accept that."
"(Y/n) has no reason to become a villain," Kirishima huffed. "Just like you told me Todoroki, she was acting extremely off as if she didn't know you, Bakugou, or Aizawa. Geez Bakugou and Aizawa are two of the most important people in her life, why would she want to forget them?" Midoriya, Momo, Iida, and Todoroki couldn't help but to agree with Kirishima completely. Villain or not, you'd grant mercy to the one's you love unless you're truly heartless. "I'm tired of sitting around guys. (Y/n) has been gone for six weeks and Bakugou has been gone for almost two. I'm not letting anymore of my friends get taken."
"That's why we're all here!" Iida thrusted his fist within the air.
"To save (Y/n) and Kacchan!" Midoriya held out his hand. Everyone piled their hands one atop the other.
I am here! I am here!
Midoriya's phone rang suddenly. The green haired male dug through his coat pockets picking up the device before pressing the screen to his ear. "Hello?" He hummed.
"I got the location."
"Shinsou really?" Midoriya squeaked. The rest of the group perked up in response.
Shinsou pursed his lips, wedging his phone between his ear and shoulder as he held a large tablet within both hands. Upon the screen was an expanded map of his current location, in an alley, as well as the next mile in radius. Right where the purple haired boy stood was where the blinking dot on the tablet's map went haywire. "You all should be thankful you got Yaoyorozu to hand over her tracking devices when you did..." Shinsou tensed up, shady figures entered Shinsou's alley marking his time to escape. So, the boy bolted behind a trash can making sure his hair didn't poke over it. There was four men in total, all wore black in one way or another. One had baby blue hair and a black trenchcoat, another was dressed in a form fitting suit of grey and black, another male had a black overshirt with purple scarred flesh, the last had a vibrant yellow coat and a mask to hide his features. They all must've been villains. Shinsou backed out of his phone call, although he kept the call running, and snapped pictures of every villain as they entered an abandoned bar.
"This is the place," Shinsou smirked. "Yaoyorozu was smart to give everyone trackers in the forest back at camp. Bakugou's is still on and I just witnessed villains walk into a foreclosed bar. My job is done, y'all just track my phone location and meet me here," Shinso hung up the call. He's pleased to say the least. For once he's doing real hero work, not general studies.
"Shinsou found them," Midoriya awed. "Ha ha guys Shinsou found them!"
"That creep sure is manly!" Kirishima help up his thumbs. "I can't get anymore thankful that (Y/n) is friends with the best people. I'm one of them of course."
"Shinsou said to follow the location on his phone," Midoriya said.
"Then let's go!" Iida encouraged.
-----
"Now isn't the time to be sleeping!" Shigaraki snapped upon entering the hideout and finding you lying on the floor.
"Shut your trap Handy-Man," Bakugou hissed. He was sitting down near where you lied.
"Watch your mouth before I kill you Katsuki," Shigaraki warned.
"(Y/n) is having a seizure," Kurogiri interrupted. "Knowing how many episodes she tends to have, a seizure is the least bit surprising."
"How long has she been in it?" Shigaraki calmed himself, even he knew he was in the wrong.
"Half hour," Bakugou huffed. "Collapsed out of nowhere..."
"Looks like she's done," Toga used her knife to point at Bakugou. Bakugou frowned, cocking a brow, turning to you as you began trembling with childish whimpers and curling up into a fetal position.
"(Y/n)?" Bakugou jumped to this feet.
"I h-h-have no id-idea wha-what just ha-hap-happened..." You began to cry long and hard openly. "B-B-Bakugou please tell m-m-me what hap-happened..."
"Seizure?" Bakugou assumed. He's never had to deal with one before today. "You scared everyone when you went under."
"I just want Aizawa..." You shivered as Bakugou's eyes went large to your plead. "I d-don't even kn-know why I'm crying!"
Bakugou grabbed your brown coat, thankful it was closeby, draping the coat over your shivering form. "Too bad he isn't here," Bakugou growled, his jaws didn't unhinge. "Just the League of Bastards and Mommy-Giri."
You didn't understand a single word Bakugou was rambling on about. You managed to sit up with difficulty to figure out what exactly he meant. So many faces, you knew their names, yet you didn't. Cr-crap... Why are so many of my memories overlapping? This is the League of Villains, but why am I here? I'd never joined them...
"F-Fuck..." You muttered. "Fuck!" You cursed out loud. "I should've never agreed to these new damned quirks! I want my old one back! My mom's quirk back! Now I'm a fucking villain-"
"Shut the hell up!" Bakugou snapped. You remained silent as he expected. (Y/n) must've gotten her memories back during the seizure. Now she's completely forgotten about her time here. We can leave! Fuck yes we can leave!!!
"Seizures can cause illusions and memory lapses... Give her time," Kurogiri just covered your ass. Yeah, he's figured out your memories have returned as well.
"Whatever," Shigaraki tuts. "I need Katsuki tonight anyways."
"And who said I wanted to go on this mission?' Bakugou growled.
Knock knock knock
Everyone turned towards the main entrance of the bar. "Pizza Delivery!" Called a grown man on the other side.
"Delivery?" Bakugou muttered.
However you perked up, you recognized that voice from anywhere. "Dad..."
