You ever been in a room full of people but felt like nobody was really there? Like you not being antisocial but you don't really feel like fucking with nobody right now? 

Yeah, that's how I been feeling for this past week.

I'm either at work or at school, I haven't said more than 7 words since that fight. Something was just wrong with me.

"Why you sitting over here by yourself? Isolated from the world?" Iyan joked but I continued looking straight ahead.

"You giving me the silent treatment? That's childish." He laughed leaning back in the chair and I could still feel him looking at me.

"C'mon Mulan it's bout to be 2 months since you talked to me, I miss you baby girl." 

"I'm teaching y'all a lesson." I used their words as he sighed.

"How many times do you want us to apologize for that? We thought it was the best thing to do."

"Y'know I lost my first fight in a jail lunchroom because the girl felt like I was too reserved or as she said too quiet so I must have been plotting. A lady in her 30s sliced my face up because she wanted a new roommate and four big ass prostitutes jumped me because I was too pretty so they had to make me ugly. So yeah, I don't forgive y'all."

"But you can't blame us, Mulan you're always fighting. Every time I turn around it's Mulan just beat up some girl, I don't want you to go down like your mother or I did we want you to be better. Is that hard to understand?" 

"Kai owns a Mac line, her own make-up salon and you own a lot of places and you was a physical therapist. If both of y'all wanted to stop working right now we would still be set for life so hearing that 'I don't want you to end up like us' is straight B.S" 

"Fighting all the time can get you hurt or even in jail and that's what I wanted to teach. What if the girl at the mall had a knife or something and would have cut you? Then what? Your friends lose their best friend, Jaylen lose his girl and most importantly we lose our only child."

"Do you not see my face? You sent me to a place people who actually did stuff go. What if she had a knife? The person in my bunk actually cut me."

"We didn't think about that tho."

"I get that but you didn't even know the full story before you did all that, she put her hands on me. Jail or not nobody is going to put their hands on me, my pride is way too high for me to ever allow someone to put their hands on me."

"You telling me every single fight you been in they put their hands on you first?"

"No, I don't allow people to hit me first at all. I could sense when someone about to hit me so I hit them first but technically they hit me first in their mind."

"I like your logic." He laughed. "Mulan c'mon give us a break, we didn't know it would turn out like that."

"Y'know what I found the funniest about this situation? I didn't even get charged. Y'all paid them to keep me. That's why I can't forgive y'all." 

"Mulan what was we suppose to do?"

"How about talk to me like you are now? I got tortured and disrespected in that place. Not only by inmates, officers too and I couldn't do anything at all or I would get cut or jumped. I didn't deserve that but you did, you did illegal stuff, you still do illegal stuff."

"I understand Mulan." He sighed.

"Do you? You don't want me to be like you but you're making me like you. It made me angrier, it made me look at y'all different, it made me bitter. So for now I want- no I NEED my space."

"We could do that, I still love you baby girl." He kissed my forehead getting up.

"I love your more than you think." I said sighing as he nodded.

I continued to sit there by myself watching all these people interact with each other, we was at Jaylen going away party. He leaves for college tomorrow and I didn't even wanna come but I felt like it would be wrong if I didn't.

"Hey girlfriend in law." Zylexia said coming to sit next to me. "Ain't you proud of our nigga?"

"You bold." I said looking at her.

"No smart comment? We finally sister wives?" She laughed.

"Why do you think you're funny?" I asked really curious.

"I am funny Mulan." She touched my shoulder as I looked at her hand.

"Zylexia, I'm really not in the mood. if I fight you, I'm fighting to kill. Please leave alone, I'm not tryna ruin Jaylen going away party."

"You were always a violent child, shaking my head." 

"You look like a ninja turtle."

"Mulaaaannnnn!" Remy yelled stopping to laugh then walked away making me laugh since her laugh was so fucking ugly.

"That was cute." She faked laugh. "You know I'm pretty and so do your nigga." 

"Yeah you are pretty." I nodded.

"Thank you."

"PRETTY UGLY!" I yelled laughing, why is she still here?

"You are so childish."

"Why are you still sitting next to me? You're in my space which technically means I could beat you up just for harassing me." 

"But you won't."

"You right because my boyfriend shouldn't see me like that on his last day here."

"Our." 

"Our my ass." Jaylen said coming out of no where making me laugh.

"Hey baby." I said smiling.

"Why I ain't see you in a week?" 

"I just haven't been feeling it." I shrugged. 

"I understand but I be needing you, without you I gotta socialize with these people." He said looking around the backyard making me laugh.

"I regret it now because now look my baby leave tomorrow." I pouted.

"I know, how imma go without seeing my lah'baby all day?" He matched my pout mushing my face laughing.

"Your sap ass." I laughed.

"Ass hole to the world but a mush soft ass nigga to his girl." He said kissing my nose.

"So Jaylen when do your first class start?" Zy'lexia asked.

"Yo why are you still over here?" I asked laughing, this bitch creepy as hell.

"Mulan." He laughed. "I start classes in like 2 weeks, I'm just leaving tomorrow because I need to go handle my house situation with Shawn and shit." 

"Oh Shawn's going too?" She asked.

"Yeah, he got that hope shit scholarship to Duke. You know me and my boy bout to be in North Carolina making buckets." 

"Imma come to your first game, just tell me when." She stood up getting ready to leave.

"Aight bet." He nodded his head rubbing my face and I smacked his hands.

"Why you always putting your dirty ass hands on my face? You gon make me break out."

"Good, maybe if you get acne these niggas would leave you alone."

"Boy I'll be fine with acne too, you just got a bad ass girl."

"Yeah, at least you know who you belong too." He said jumping on me.

"Yeah to Kailani and Iyan Dawson." I replied smartly.

"Dude." He stale faced me making me laugh.

"Don't do that, you ugly." I rubbed his cheek.

"Yeah whatever but you not mad at me right?"

"I got a reason to?" 

"No, you never got a reason to be mad at me but you do anyway so I was just asking."

"You talking about with Zy'lexia?" 

"Yeah, I know how you feeling about her and if you don't want me talking to her then just say the word."

"I'm not that insecure to make you stop talking to a female because I feel threatened, which I don't by the way. Dyslexia not topping me and she can't fight, no point in me being worried."

"I fuck with you cause you loyallll." He kissed me singing.

"Okay Baelani." I laughed wiping my lip gloss off his mouth.

"You know I hate that stupid ass lip gloss son, shit be making me lips look all glittery and shit." 

"Oh well, it's my fave." 

"Mulaaannn!" Memo yelled, I looked towards her way seeing all the girls surrounded by her.

"I'll be back." I said.

"Tell them niggas to stop cockblocking." He said slapping my ass I walked away from him.

"Do that nasty shit again, I'll whoop your ass." Iyan said making me laugh, nigga stay popping up.

"I'll do it again later." Jaylen winked getting up to run as Iyan started chasing him.

"What?" I asked looking at these idiots.

"We miss you." Memo stupid ass said hugging me, she know I don't like people touching me.

"Stop and y'all haven't talked to me in a week, acting like it's been years." I said still smacking her hands away.

"Aight bitch, eat my fucking ass don't wanna take our love and shit." Remy said.

"I missed y'all retarded ass bitches." I said laughing.

"Nope bitch, talk to me in a few minutes." Remy said.

"Why did I have to be retarded tho?" NeeNee asked.

"You not, your my fave." I smiled.

"Excuse me?" Memo asked raising a eyebrow.

"Memo you should prank everybody." I said changing the topic.

"How?" Ny asked.

"Faking your labor, pour your bottle of water on you or pee on yourself." I laughed.

"Wait you should really do that, after JC and Alyssa cut the cake you should do it." Remy laughed.

"I'll record this." NeeNee laughed.

"Alright, I need like two of y'all by me." Memo said as we huddled up.

"Aight, it's a plan." I said as we put our hands together.

"Break." We all said as I went back to Jaylen

"So I just want to think everybody for coming and we love you Jaylen, Y'know your number one lady will be at the first game cheering on her favorite man." Alyssa cry baby ass said crying.

"Um I'm his number one lady." I raised my hand as they started laughing.

"And I'm your favorite man." JC said.

"You could be my favorite man." I mumbled and Jaylen popped me making me laugh, I ain't know he heard me.

"Anyways, I love you baby boy. Make mommy proud." She smiled hugging him.

"WHAT TEAM?!" Mason yelled in my ear causing me to jump.

"WILDCATS!" JJ yelled laughed.

"WHAT TEAM?!"

"WILDCATS!"

"Wildcats, get your head in the game!" They yelled than busted out laughing like it was the funniest thing in the world.

"Y'all are so childish." I said looking at them.

"That stupid ass bun on your head childish." Mason said smacking it.

"Watch your hands." Jaylen smacked his hands.

"Boooyyyy! I almost- Go get your father." He said jumping at him.

I heard Memo clear her throat so we all walked to her, I gave her a new water bottle and told NeeNew to record. Memo poured the water on her shorts and Remy screamed like planned.

"What the hell Memo! Alyssa speech wasn't that damn important to hold your pee, you too damn old to be peeing on yourself!" She yelled.

"No her WATER broke dummy!" I yelled water louder to get everybody attention. I looked at Zay and Josiah as they both was standing there frozen.

"No it's too early." JC said as Memo fake winced in pain.

"What do I do? Oh my God, no she got to stay in the longer. I think Imma die." Josiah said pacing back and forth, breathing hard.

"Oh my God! Somebody!" Memo yelled grabbing her standing and moaning.

"Um Memo sit down, go call the midwife." JC ordered.

"Zay you okay?" Remy said, he was still standing there like he was stuck while Josiah was still pacing.

"But she can't come this early. It's Impossible! It's too early she still got 2 months left, nah brah!" Josiah said putting his hands on his head, I turned my head to keep from laughing.

"My niece coming? Aye hit them folks like yahhh!" Avery said dancing making Alyssa smack him in his head.

Yo this family so stupid.

"This hurtss!" Memo said crying, I was starting to think the bitch was in real pain and I think Remy was thinking the same thing as we both looked at Memo.

"Memo?" I said looking at her with a questionable look and she shook her head, making me sigh in relief. Almost had a bitch scared.

"Aight game plan, we got to get you to the hospital. Can you walk?" 

"No, it's hurts." She whined.

"Alright Jaylen and Avery could carry you to the car since you can't walk." JC said.

"Jaylen who? Like hell I am. I'm not touching her pissy ass." Jaylen said making me laugh.

"Did you hear me say 'I volunteer as tribute?' Nah fam. How you gon volunteer our services? Like you not looking like Hulk Hogan and shit." Avery said 

"C'mon stop being childish." Mason smacked him upside his head.

"Aight then you do it."

"Respect your elders, I'm too old to be carrying that big ass whale." Mason said 

"What?" Memo asked making a face and I found that so funny, I started rolling.

"Yo if this was real, Memo would of had her baby on the grass messing with y'all stupid selves. And to think y'all have kids." I said shaking my head.

"What you mean if this was real?" Zay asked finally coming back to life.

"Welcome back Zay." Remy laughed.

"I hope I'm not around none of y'all when my water do break." Memo stood up.

"I should whoop you ass until your water do break scaring me like that." Alyssa said.

"Y'all so stupid." Memo said going in the house.

"Don't do that, niggas almost pissed on their self." Josiah said walking behind her.
