"That's what the fuck you get." Mulan said as I rolled my eyes. We was walking to school from Dunkin Donuts.

"Alright Mu I heard it too many times already." I said.

"I don't give a fuck as your best friend and cousin I'm going to keep it real. I was your first friend, who else going to if not me?"

"Actually I was her first friend." Remy jumped in.

"No you weren't, we're literally a month apart." Mulan rolled her eyes.

"So that just mean Kai retarded ass was in competition with Lys."

"Bitch don't talk about my mother like Ahjaya not stupid as hell."

"Really? Don't do my aunties." I said laughing at my best friend. Ever since birth Mulan and Remy been by my side.

Mulan is auntie Kai and uncle Yayo daughter. She's the one with the I don't give a fuck attitude out of the group. She don't trust nobody and she mean as hell if she don't know you and she's so spoiled considering she's the only child.

Remy was aunt Ahjaya and uncle Ike daughter, she's the wild one out the group. She always fighting, love going to parties and a straight up player. She like a nigga in a female body, she know the in and outs of the game.

"Anyways when I see Journee imma just punch her in her mouth one good time since she didn't jump in." Remy said as I rolled my eyes, it's been a week and some days since the party I don't understand why everybody so hyped about it.

"Let her be, now Memo know to stop fucking with bitches." Mulan said.

"Alright next topic." I sighed.

"Oh yeah didn't you say you talked to Josiah fine ass there? What happened with that?"

"He texted me for 2 days straight and I never replied."

"The hell, why not?" Mulan slapped me in my head.

"Stop that hurts but because I was nervous you know I don't like new people."

"You gotta get over that boy Memo." Remy said.

"I know you not talking bout Caleb? I am over him." I partially lied.

"Barely." Mulan said as they both started laughing.

"Hahaha." I said dryly.

"I'm just glad you didn't fall into his trap and have sex with him." Remy said.

"I'm smarter than that."

"Hey guys!" Nyasia ran to us. She was another one of our friends, we met her in 6th grade and ever since then all four of us been friends.

Nyasia was the laid back and goofy one. She was nonchalant about a lot of things and part stupid. She has this on and off boyfriend and she always take him back no matter what so we learned to shut up about the situation because no matter what we say she will always go back to him.

"Hey boo." I hugged her.

"Y'all went to get food without me?" She frowned.

"You know I got you." Mulan handed her a brownie.

"Ayeee- is that Noah?" She asked looking at a group of boys.

"Yeah y'all on a break again?" Mulan asked.

"No but I'm bout to break his face." She said walking over to him and we followed.

"Oh God." I mumbled under my breath.

"So you couldn't answer my calls to let me know you inna house but out here with these niggas. If you not talking to me imma just assume you sucking dick." She said making the boys around him laugh.

"Yo it's 8 ina morning, why are you yelling? I went to sleep as soon as I got in and you know I ain't gay baby." He smirked.

"Smack that ugly ass smirk right off your face. I'm going to class you gon make me late with your bullshit." She walked off and before I could go one of the basketball players grabbed my arm.

"Wassup Memo? Why you never speak?"

"Because I don't know you."

"Let's change that, gimme your number." He handed his phone to me.

"She good fam." Avery said pushing his phone back in his hand.

"She got a mouth for herself."

"Nah we talk for her and we said she good. My sister not talking to none of y'all dog ass niggas out here. Play some other female, I'll start breaking niggas faces." Jaylen said.

"I'm going to class." I said walking away.

"Why are they so protective over you?" Mulan asked.

"It's a big brother thing, Jordan be killing me with that shit." Remy said rolling her eyes.

"I gotta make a trip to my locker, I'll catch up with y'all later love bugs."

"Ivory come here please." My AP physics teacher Mr.Ferreiro asked. I stood up and walked to his desk.

"Yes?"

"I wanted to ask you will you be willing to tutor a student for me since you are one of the best. You can say no but if you do it I will give you thirty extra points on your next quiz and no homework for two weeks."

"I'll do it."

"Okay he is in regular physics so it will be easy, his name is Joshua Walker."

"Okay, I'll tell you how it goes." I said packing my stuff since the bell rung. I was heading to lunch but then got a text from Tac telling me to come get my food.

"Hey baby girl."

"Hey papa, how you knew I wanted food?"

"You are your mother's child." We laughed.

"Thank you papa, love you."

"Love you more and that's not all for you. It's for Avery and Jay." I groaned than hugged him as he passed me two twenty bills and three fifty bills.

I walked in the cafeteria looking for the basketball players since I knew Avery and Jaylen would both be there. Once I saw them I sighed because they table was big as hell and all of them looked good plus Josiah was over there.

"Here idiots." I dug in the bag giving them their bowls from Chipotle.

"Who bought you this?" Avery asked.

"No thank you? And Tac did."

"Gimme $20, I know he gave you money." Jaylen said looking at me.

"You always using me and you still didn't say thank you." I dug in my wallet counting out $40.

"Ooh you got moneyyy" Jaylen best friend Shawn said.

"Thank you, I gotta take this little bitch on a date to burger king and I left my wallet." Jaylen said as they started laughing.

"Damn she not even worth Applebees?" Josiah asked laughing.

"Her mouth is." He smirked.

"Ew bye, I'm leaving." I didn't want to hear about my brother sex life.

"Yo? Scuse' me?" A boy said as I got closer to my table making me turn around. He was on the basketball team, he was light skin, tall as hell around 6'4, thick eyebrows, mustache and tattoos throughout his arms.

"Me?"

"Yeah, your name Ivory Whitaker right?"

"Yeah, it's a problem? Somebody wanna fight?" Remy asked standing up.

"Remy sit yo ass down." The boy laughed. "But I'm Joshua, you suppose to be tutoring me."

"Oh yeah, wassup?" I asked.

"You think we could start today? I can't fail this shit."

"Yeah I don't got any plans. Straight after school?"

"Yeah your house?" He asked. I thought about it and shook my head fast as hell.

"Nah, yours?"

"Yeah, you could meet me at the main entrance after school." I nodded then he walked away.

"Okay bitch!" Mulan said smiling.

"Nope. Just tutoring."

"Your house is nice." I said looking around the living room.

"Probably not better than yours." He laughed.

"Definitely not." I joked smiling.

"Where you wanna do this? My room, living room, kitchen?"

"Any where you comfortable at but do you have food?" I asked, I was kind of starving.

"Yeah c'mon." He led me into the kitchen and told me to look for something. His house was packed with food and snacks I was in heaven.

"Joshua why would you- who the hell is this? What I tell you bout bringing these fast ass girls where you lay? You take em somewhere else so you won't be getting caught up." A caramel lady said, I'm guessing it was his mother.

"Ma chill, member I told you about that tutoring shit? This my tutor." He said laughing.

"She too pretty, I don't believe your lying ass."

"Thank you but I'm just his tutor." I smiled.

"In that case I'm sorry for coming like that, Joshua stupid ass don't like listening. I'm Jessie, and you?"

"I'm Ivory, nice to meet you." I held my hand out as she shook it.

"Respectful. Pretty. Smart. Wife this girl." She smiled grabbing a bag of chips then leaving.

"She a mess." He shook his head laughing.

"Yeah but let's get started." We walked upstairs to his room and got started.

An hour of studying we were almost finishing and he was getting it faster than I thought he would. I was watching the Walking Dead on his t.v while he finished the problems by his problems.

"So I don't get this show."

"You don't get your problems either, soo..?"

"Funny but why don't they just get the walkers in one building then blow that shit up?"

"It's more complicated than that."

"This why I don't watch stuff like this, it's so stupid to me."

"You never watched the walking dead?" I asked shocked.

"No, I always found it to be stupid."

"Well, I'm starting the whole season over. I'm going to make you watch this show."

"But I'm studying."

"You have one more question left, do it."

"You know you bossy?"

"You know you failing physics?"

"I like you." He smiled.

"People usually do."

"Mhm, here. Check it."

"Wrong the GPE formula is GPE = mgh."

"Okayy gimme one minute."

"Josh I'm going to work, when your brother and sister get here tell them to call me."

"Got you, love you ma."

"I love you more, nice meeting you Ivory."

"Same to you." I hugged her.

"Aight now I got it."

"Correct, I didn't know you had a brother or sister."

"Yeah my sister is in 8th grade and my brother actually go to the school. You?"

"Yeah, Avery and Jaylen are my brothers."

"Oh yeah duh, let's watch this and if I don't like it. We're watching a regular movie."

"Alright deal."

We watched the whole first season, ate snacks and got to know each other better. By the time I looked at the clock it was 9:30, I sent a message in the group chat containing my mother and parents telling them I'll be home in a few.

"Told you, you'll like it. Bet you be binge watching."

"Shut up. You ready to go or nah Mem?"

"Yeah, I'm ready." I put on my shoes and grabbed all my things.

"Thank you." I said as Josh opened my door. He plugged his phone into the aux cord and finally decided on a song as he pulled off.

"I know all my whips are foreign, I know all your bitches boring. I know I gained me some weight while I was touring. Fresh and clean like a new born, I wet that bitch and than wet yours. I ride that beat with no insurance, what you tell em thugger?" Josiah rapped bobbing his head.

I started putting us on snapchat as we both rapped into the camera laughing, when we got to the red light that's when the real turn up came as my favorite part started.

"I'm back where I motherfuckin left that, minor setback for a major fucking comeback. Wrap the fucking show, rock and roll this a death trap. Playing with my slimes, you won't make it out the exit. Mr.Breezy ho, Mrs.Breezy ho. Anybody get it, eine-meenie-mo'" We both yelled as he recorded both of us and I saw him put it on Instagram.

"What you know bout Thugger Thugger?" He laughed.

"That's my boy, one of my favorite rappers." I said smiling.

"Yeah, Thugger go crazy. Name your top three favorite songs."

"3? Damn aight. Check, Memo and Go Crazy."

"You with the shits."

"Of course." I smiled as we pulled up. When I looked outside my house, my brothers and cousins was all on the porch and they all stood up straight trying to see who was in the car.

"Gimme your phone so I could put my number in it, put your number in mine." I gave it to him as he gave me his phone.

"Thank you, tutoring you was fun." I said once he gave me back my phone.

"Yeah it was, tell me when you free so we could do it again. I'll be seeing you best friend."

"Yeah, bye best friend. Text me when you get in." I smiled and leaned over to hug him.

I got out the car and put my headphones in knowing Jaylen and my cousins was about to start, I walked right past them ignorning their stares and headed into the kitchen where my mother was at.

"Hi mommy." I smiled hugging her.

"Hey baby, your tutoring session went long."

"I know after we got done, I put him onto the walking dead. He's never seen it." I said in shocked.

"What? How could he not have seen it?"

"That's the same thing I said ma." I shook my head.

"Was that Joshua car you was getting out of?" Avery asked.

"Yeah I tutor him."

"So why couldn't he come here?" Jaylen asked.

"Because y'all are annoying like y'all are being now."

"I ain't gon tell you what to do just watch out, nigga play bitches like no tomorrow."

"It's not even like that, we're best friends."

"Best friends do real shit." Jordan said coming into the kitchen as I smiled.

"Jordyyy!" I jumped on him.

Out of all my cousins Jordan was my favorite, We have always been close. Remy and Mulan had nothing on Jordan. Remy was always jealous of our relationship because she always said I was taking her brother away from her but he just relates better to me.

"Ivyyyyy!" He matched my tone laughing.

"I missed you, come tell me about your life." I grabbed his hand.

"You ain't even do allat when you saw me." Cameron said pouting.

"Cam you know you my other fave." I smiled hugging him.

"Yeah, yeah." He waved me off smiling.

"I love all of you." I smiled.

"Mhm, we love you too." Jaylen mumbled texting somebody.

They are so rude.

But yeah this was like another introduction chapter, the real one starts next.

And yes Young Thug is seriously one of my favorite rappers, if you don't listen to him you really ain't living. His music get you so hyped💯
