1) All of the art in this book is mine

This should be very obvious but unless stated otherwise, you may not use my art in any way, especially not in this book since the characters and therefore designs are passed onto someone else.
If you have adopted one of these characters, I allow you to use the art I give away along with them however you may please, as long as you give credit where credit is due.
I also would appreciate it if you stated that the character was designed by me, even if you don't end up using the art I made of them. Though that isn't obligatory.

2) Be clear

If you want an adopt, put all the necessary information into one comment only. Don't make a comment thread or make several different, unlinked comments. If you do that in hopes that you'll get the adopt because you made the first comment, it won't helpo you at all. Instead, I won't give the adopt to you even if you were the fastest in the end because littering my comment section like that is unnecessary.

3) DO NOT (re-)sell my designs for more than they're worth

I can't believe anyone has to ever say this but... since I give most of this stuff that is part of my intellectual property away for free (or at the very least pretty damn low prices), it would be not only rude, but also very disrespecting and disloyal of you to try to sell my designs for more than you bought them for.
If you'd like to put your design back up for adoption, do as you please, I won't interfere. However, refrain from asking for more than I asked for. Just be fair about it, kay?
Don't make the prices absurdely high. The point of this book is not for you to make money off of it.
Gifts and trading are always allowed, of course.

4) Don't leave them unused

on my last account, I gave away my adoptables for pretty much nothing, and that's how they ended up.
I don't expect you to keep them around forever, or to always use them, just don't get them and never even look at them again.
After all, I'm only giving them away because I don't want them to sit around and collect dust.

5) Adoption methods

A) First Come, First Serve (FCFS)
A subcategory of adoptions.
Whoever is the fastest will get the adopt.
Can apply to NTAs (mostly), BTAs (sometimes), OTAs (rarely), and Autobuys (always)

B) Name To Adopt (NTA)
The simplest method of adoption.
You give the adopt a name to obtain it.
Commonly combined with FCFS.

C) Bio To Adopt (BTA)
A simple method of adoption.
You write a bio for the adopt to obtain it.
Sometimes combined with FCFS.

D) Draw to Adopt (DTA)
A rather complicated mathod of adoption.
Within the given time, participants will be asked to draw a character of mine (complexity depends on adopt). The best picture (judged by detail and effort, rather than art style) gets the adopt. Every other participant usually gets a sketched headshot of one of their OCs, if I feel like it XD
Not combinable with FCFS.

E) Offer To Adopt (OTA)
A usual method of adoption.
You put up an offer for the adopt. I accept (from most wanted to least wanted): DA Points, Art (quality over quantity), characters from closed species (depending on the species), other characters created by yourself, adopts you've recieved from other people, anything else (idk, tbh)
Rarely to never combined with FCFS.

F) Raffle
A time consuming method of adoption.
You get a number from me. If your number gets picked by the random number generator, you get the adopt.
Not combinable with FCFS.

G) Autobuy
Easiest method of adoption.
You pay a certain amount of DA Points to obtain the adopt.
Cancels out all methods except for Raffles.
Always combined with FCFS.

6) Seperate files

Since most of these designs will be uncoloured, I am willing to give you (provided that you have adopt one of my characters) a png file or whatever you need through PM so that you can for example colour it or simply to have a higher resolution.
That, however, still obliges you to credit me for the lineart/sketch

7) Guest Designing

If you want me to make adopt of a closed species of yours, I'll gladly take you up on that offer. Depending on how much I liked designing something of that species, I may ask you to be a (semi-) permanent guest designer for your species.

8) Customs?

I'll occasionally do some if you give me a really good idea but I will more often than not decline the offer.

9) Tagging

Since I am only using the Desktop version of Wattpad, I won't be notified if you tag my in-story. If you plan on taggin me somewhere, please tag me in the comment section of the specified part.

I will NOT be accepting anything from people that still owe me anything from previous adopts anymore.

If you owe my points or art or designs, please pay me first before trying to adopt something again. If you still owe me, I cannot accept your offer, not even if you want to autobuy. Once your payment is completed, you are free to adopt again.
