A/N
Here is the Uraraka x Izuku oneshot I promised. In this one they are just starting their third year of high school. Be warned though, it won't only be in Uraraka's POV. It will also switch to Izuku to show what happened. Anyways, hope you enjoy the story.

I was walking back to the dorms after class, taking my time as I leisurely walked along the campus. This was our third, and final year at U.A and most people from 1-A are sidekicks of heroes, however I was not one of them. The third year had just started and I was still looking for a hero to work for. I was thinking of maybe choosing Thirteen because the hero work he does is what I would be best in, but I was considering if I really wanted to go into rescue hero work.

Before I realized it I had arrived at the dorms. I walked into the large building and saw people lounging about. Kirishima, Kaminari, Jirou, Toru, and Mina were sitting on the couch watching TV, Iida was studying at the kitchen table, and Todoroki was just staring off into space.

I decide to go to my room and finish up what little homework I had. On the way over to enter the girls side I saw Midoriya and decided to wave to him. He waves back and smiles at me, and I blush slightly at how energetic and happy he is. 'Dammit Uraraka, we've sworn that we'll push these feelings down until we achieve our dream of becoming a hero.' I say to myself as I stand there blushing.

"Uraraka? Are you okay?" Midoriya asks me as I try to hide my blush.

"Yeah. Just feeling a bit lightheaded, I'm going to go to my room and lay down now." I say as I quickly rush over to my dorm. Once I get inside I quickly lock my door and flop onto my bed. 'Dammit, why does he have to be so cute!' I think to myself as I cover my face with my pillow. I sit there for a couple minutes until I decide to start doing that homework.

After a while I look and see that it's dark out and check the time to see that it's 10. Seeing how late it was I decided to go to bed but while I was getting into bed I hear a knock at my door. I go to open it and see Aizawa. "Yes?" I nervously question him. He almost never comes to the dorms unless important happens.

"Meet everyone else out in the lounge. I will tell you the news when everyone is out there." He says before he turns away and starts going to the next door. I stand there for a bit, worried at what it will be because he looked a lot more stressed than normal.

I hesitantly go into the lounge where almost everybody else was. Aizawa was still telling people to come in here so people were still arriving. After a couple minutes everyone that wasn't out working as a sidekick had filtered in and taken a seat. "Thank you everyone for coming. The reason I called everyone her today is-"

Izuku P.O.V

I had just gotten to the hero that I work for's office and walked in to begin my shift. I had decided to become a sidekick at the Rabbit Hero Mirko's office. She usually doesn't take sidekicks but after much begging and pleading I finally convinced her to let me become her sidekick.

I walk in and am greeted by a worried looking Mirko. "Midoriya, we need to talk." She says before getting up and walking to the makeshift meeting room. Since she has always been alone she didn't have any meeting rooms or anything, so once I joined we had to find a room and add a table with some chairs for our meeting room.

We walked in and took a seat before Mirko started to talk. "There have been reports of a new villain making their rounds. We don't know his name or his quirk, all we know is that he has long black hair and has already killed fifteen heroes and is continuing his streak. By my predictions he will be in this area tonight so we will try to catch him off guard and take him down as quickly as possible." She pauses to make sure that I'm okay with this. I nod and she continues. "The plan is to set some bait for him, in the form of one of Endeavor's sidekicks, and once he takes the bait we try to take him down before he realizes we're there. He should be getting to that spot at around 9:00. Until then, do whatever you want." She says as she gets up and walks out of the room.

I sit there thinking and decide to go and get ready by training a bit. At the moment I am able to control 35% of one for all with no adverse affects, and 50% without completely breaking my bones. Once I get to where Mirko and I train, which is an abandoned warehouse, I find someplace to set up and I start training. I started out by warming up my muscles and then practice with my quirk. After a couple hours I decided to stop so that I wasn't tired when the fight starts.

I check the time and see that it's 7:30 so I decide to head back and prepare for tonight's excursion. Once I get back I see Mirko, Endeavor, and Todoroki waiting there. "Hey Todoroki." I wave to him and he nods in my direction.

"Good, you're here." Endeavor says as he walks over to us to explain the full plan. "Since we know so little about this villain and his quirk, we need to be cautious. Until we find out his quirk we are not to engage with this villain. The only one who will engage with him will be Shoto, who will act as the bait and try to find out his quirk." I get nervous about Todoroki being the one to fight him without knowing his quirk, but I couldn't think of something else to do.

"Izuku, you will be the one to ambush him with me. Mirko will be backup. No matter what, make sure to capture him and keep casualties to a minimum. Any questions?" Endeavor said before he looked at us all and when none of us responded he bagn talking again. "Good. If anything goes wrong, you probably won't be able to do anything before you get killed. Let's go." Endeavor said gruffly as he began walking out of the building.

I gave Todoroki a worried look but he gave me a reassuring smile. I decide to just do my best to take this villain down before I follow Endeavor out of the building. We walk for a while until we get to a secluded part of the city. Endeavor nods to Todoroki, which Todoroki ignores while getting into place. Endeavor and I position ourselves on a roof a couple buildings down.

After waiting for a bit we heard something and saw some ice jutting out of the alley Todoroki was in. We both quickly jumped into action as quickly as possible. We jump down into the alley way and see a man with long black hair tied into a ponytail, pale skin, and cruel eyes. He smiled maniacally when he saw us before putting his hands to the ground and blowing up the entire alley way.

"Izuku! Izuku!" I am shaken awake by a worried voice. I groggily get up and see that Todoroki is trying to get me up. I look around when I get up and see that this entire block has been completely leveled. Endeavor and Mirko were fighting, and losing to the villain. Everytime they would try to attack he would quickly dodge and hit them. It seemed that he could only use his quirk on the ground because he was never using his quirk against them.

I attempt to get into the fight but Todoroki stops me. "Right now it's best if we stay out of this fight." He says as I hesitantly nod before looking back to the fight. Right as I look back Mirko slips up, which gives the villain an opening and he drops to the ground and explodes where they were standing.

"Mirko!" I shout out as I rush over to her. Endeavor sees me and starts to push the villain back so that I can get Mirko to safety. When I get to her I see that she is covered in many deep cuts and has a big gash on her forehead. I quickly get her out of the fighting before attempting to dress her wounds.

After doing the best I can and being sure she'll survive I turn my attention back to the fight. Endeavor seemed to be able to hold him off but he couldn't get a hit in. Before Todoroki could catch me I ran into the fight. "Get the fuck outta here kid!" Endeavor yelled at me but I ignored him as I sent a kick at the villain, which he easily dodged and then sent a chop into my neck, causing my muscles to relax for half a second before he sent a kick into my stomach. I stagger from the kick and he tries to follow up by using his quirk and taking me out but Endeavor stops him. I try to look for an opening but he doesn't seem to be making any mistakes in his defense or offense. "You two fight pretty well. It's a shame that I really don't want to go back to jail, so looks like you two will just have to die." He said with a sadistic smirk on his face. Right then he tripped Endeavor, kicked him away and then exploded the ground beneath him.

Todoroki quickly rushed to his father's aid as I took his attention. I see Todoroki get Endeavor to walk away and get to safety. I sigh in relief knowing that everyone else was safe. I saw Todoroki coming back to join in on the fight so I decided to put my plan into motion.

I stepped wrong so I lost my footing and the villain took this as his opportunity to send an explosion my way. I smirk to myself as I quickly grabbed the villain and pulled him into the blast radius right before it blew up. I tried to get away but I was caught in the explosion and the last thing I saw was Todoroki rushing to help me before I blacked out.

Uraraka P.O.V

"Today there was a group led by Endeavor, and their goal was the villain now known as Solf J. Kimblee. He was a murderer in the area who had also taken down pros with ease, and we had very little intel on. That group went after him and managed to  capture him, but not without losses. There were only four on the team and three of the four were injured. The list of them in best condition to wrist condition goes as follows: Shoto Todoroki got out of the fight relatively unscathed because he was getting the others to safety as the fight raged on, Endeavor got out with only a few broken bones, cuts, and bruises, the Bunny Hero Mirko got out with lacerations covering her entire body. She is right now in stable condition but she was in critical when she got to the hospital. The last injury, and the most severe was-" Aizawa paused to look down at his hands before looking back to us with a grim stare. "The last injury was Izuku Midoriya with third degree burns covering his body, lacerations all over his body, several broken bones, and one large gash on his left arm."

When Aizawa finished I froze. Midoriya, the person who I tried to suppress my feelings for, was currently on the verge of death. I stared blankly into nothing as everyone went deathly silent. "W-will he be okay?" I nervously ask.

"Right now he is losing a lot of blood. I'm not sure if he'll make it through the night." He said as he looked sadly at the ground. Aizawa looked like he wanted to cry, because one of his students was on the verge of death, but he wouldn't allow himself to cry.

After hearing what he had to say I dropped to the floor and started crying. I was vaguely aware of the people around me trying to comfort me, but I was too focused on my thoughts. 'I should've just confessed to him. It was stupid of me to suppress my feelings, all so I could focus solely on becoming a hero. If I had just confessed to him, but still focused on hero work I would still become a hero, but then Deku would also know my feelings.' After crying for what seemed like hours I look up and see Aizawa looking down at me comfortingly. "Where is he?" I quietly ask.

"If you want I can drive you and a couple other students there." He offers and I nod. Iida and Yaoyorozu decide to come, since they are class the class reps, and Iida is a close friend of Deku. We all climb into Aizawa's car before driving off to whatever hospital Deku is in.

After driving in silence for a while we arrive at a hospital. We get out and walk up to the front desk. "We are looking for Izuku Midoriya." Aizawa says as we get to the front desk.

"I'm sorry but he is still in surgery. He will most likely be in surgery for much longer. You are welcome to wait at the room he will be moved to afterwards though. It will be room 234." She said as we walk to the room. Once we get there we all take a seat in the empty room and wait for Deku.

After what could only be several hours, since the sun had already risen, Deku is moved into this room. When the doctor see us he stops to address us. "Even though he is out of surgery, he can still have complications so we would like you to keep an eye on him to make sure he is okay. He should recover in a month or so." The doctor said as he delivered the good news.

"So he'll be okay?" Iida politely asked.

"Yes, he should be fine. He will probably stay unconscious for a few days." The doctor nodded. I smiled to myself after hearing that as long as nothing goes wrong, he should be fine. Yaoyorozu decided to head back and tell the others that he should be fine, Iida went onto a couch that was in the lobby to sleep, Aizawa went home, and I slept at Deku's bedside.

The next few days were a blur. I was excused from school because I was keeping an eye on Deku. Everyone would come by and check on him, even Bakugo came. Even though he only complained about how weak Deku is, I know that he is secretly happy that he's okay. His mom came in one day and immediately mistook me for his girlfriend after rushing over to him. I sadly denied it but I'm guessing she knew that I wish that it was true.

I was staring off into space before I hear a rustling near me. I quickly look and see that Deku is smiling weakly at me. Seeing him okay brings me to tears and I quickly embrace him, careful not to hurt him. I sob into his shoulder as he tries his best to comfort me despite not knowing what is going on or what happened.

"I'm guessing that after I took him down I got sent to the hospital?" I nod while still embracing him. He chuckles slightly before resting his head on mine. I look up to him and decide to go through with it. I quickly close the gap between us and press our lips together.

He was taken aback but quickly returned the kiss. We kissed for a while until we had to break for air. We stared at each other before going back in for another kiss. I put my tongue into his mouth and he did the same as I wrapped my arms around his chest and he wrapped his arms around my waist. After we broke apart again we looked at each other before we smiled. "I love you Izuku." I say as I lay against him.

"I love you too." He said as he rested his head on my head. We sat there, enjoying each other's company before Deku spoke up. "S-so does this make us official?" He nervously asked.

"Yeah, I would really like that." I said as I smiled and I looked up to see Izuku smiling back at me.

I sighed with happiness as I though how I could definitely keep this going while still becoming a hero. I could definitely stay like this for a while.
