Yo ho! Yo ho! I do not know your name!
So the last time I was at Disneyland, I realized that the boats have names on them. I don't know if other theme parks have names on their boats, but the Disneyland version does. Anyway, I was super curious about what the name of all of the boats were, so I decided to jot down a few of them that I happened to see. And when I got home, I was like, "You know what, I want to know how many boats there are because all these names are super cool."
Except it turns out that no body knows all the boat names. There are 50 boats in total and if you just type in "Names of boats on pirates of Caribbean ride" you'll find 43 out of 50 of those names. And it's all the same name. 7 of those are missing and I don't know why. I think that's weird.
By coincidence, while jotting down the names of the boats pre-Covid Disney visit, I know that three of the missing names are:
Colette- Boat 24
Penelope- Boat 41
Destine- Boat 44
But I don't know the name of the other four boats; 5, 22, 33, and 38.
I don't know if anyone has ever noticed this, but this bothers me to no end. How has this ride been open for over 50 years and we still don't know all the names of the boats?!
Update: I just found out that boat number 33 is called Justine. That's only 3 boats we're missing the name of.
