As the eldest sister, I am often tasked with keeping an eye on my younger sisters. As long as i have a good set of instructions, I can keep an eye on them. However, little sisters, though still younger, do grow older. And soon you become confused when you're told you don't have to watch them every five seconds. It was the weirdest thing for me to be told that I don't have to wait to shower when I'm babysitting because they're old enough to know better. I can hop in the shower and leave them to their own means. Mostly. I don't have to stick to them like glue. They can hang out downstairs alone. I don't have to watch them when they play outside. They can handle it.

What? Huh? But...they're still babies to me!!!!!
