I love my hair. I used to want it brown like my parents, but I'm satisfied with being a blondie. However, being one isn't always the easiest thing. High school was the worst. A lot of girls in high school switched from glasses to contacts and every time someone would, I would always hear things like, "oh my gosh, you look so cute!" or "You look so different without your glasses. I really like it." and even "Hey, you're not wearing glasses! Did you get contacts? That is so cool!"

I had tried out for contacts when I was twelve, but I blink too much so I got rid of them. However, that particular year, I decided to try out for them again since I was older and I thought that my eyes would be better. Of course, I was wrong, but what really annoyed me was that the first day that I walked into school wearing contacts, the first thing that I heard was:

"Are you wearing contacts? Wow, that's a shame. You looked slightly more intelligent with your glasses."
