One time when I had a substitute teacher, she asked, "What is an economic resource?"

I raised my hand to answer it and she pointed in my direction. I wasn't sure if she was actually pointing at me because there were ten kids behind me raising their hands, so I pointed at myself and asked, "Me?" to make sure she was actually calling on me. (Because I've had it happen where I went to answer a question and the teacher was actually pointing at the kid behind me).

The teacher said, "No. Anyone else know the answer?"

I started talking to correct her, but she started talking and eventually got another kid to answer the question.

I can understand the confusion, but seriously??!!!
