I love the movie Pocahontas.

It's a favorite classic of mine, right alongside Mulan, Aladdin, and Cinderella.

I feel like I'm not allowed to like this movie because it's historically inaccurate and racist.

I understand it's both those things. And I do understand that it gives insult to what really happened to the real Pocahontas and pretty much any native representation. However, I love this movie's message. I love Pocahontas' mischievous behavior and leadership. But I feel like I can't say I like this movie or else every person will jump down my throat and say it's bad and it represents racist Disney and why don't I like the more progressive characters?

I love the songs, I love the characters, and I love the message. I love Pocahontas!
