Visit to Vulcan (P3)
Yup, it's official. I'm the worst person EVER. And I hope you guys can forgive me for not updating, so here I come with a peace offering! *Awkwardly waves a white cloth*
Enjoy!
"KO- KAI!" Aloran yelled as he jumped into his sisters open arms.
Kathy let out laugh an twirled once before setting him down, bending slightly as she ruffled his hair.
"You've grown tall Aloran! And how many times have I told you, call me Kathy. There's no need to be so formal around me!"
Completely ignoring the traumatized Vulcans around them, Kathy slung an arm around her brother's shoulder. Spock stood stiffly as Aloran hugged him, patting his back gently.
"It's so nice to see you Spock!" Aloran exclaimed, shooting the Commander a toothy grin.
"Likewise", Spock said, the tone of his voice not affecting Aloran's mood at all. "Would I be right to assume that you have been promoted to an advanced class in no less than two subjects?"
"Three actually", Aloran stated, discretely looking at his sister for her approval. Kathy beamed brightly, making his chest puff with pride.
"That is commendable", Spock said.
In spite of his tone being flat, his eyes seemed to be smiling with satisfaction. Aloran continued to talk nineteen to the dozen while Spock listened patiently. Kathy couldn't help but smile as she took in the adorable sight in front of her.
"You'll make an excellent father", She said before she could stop herself.
Spock paused, his muscles flexing as he stiffened. Aloran looked at the two of them with confusion evident in his eyes.
"Kathy's right Spock! You'll make an excellent father!"
Spock flushed green but said nothing.
"I can't wait to get a nephew or niece!"
Kathy held back a wince as she smirked at her brother.
"Yeah, me neither."
Spock remained as emotionless as ever, his eyes not reflecting a single emotion. Silence ensued as the trio made their way back home, each lost in their own thoughts.

"What took you so long?" T'Preth demanded as she hugged her fiancée.
Fiancée. That word, especially when used by her sister, made Kathy want to puke.
"Hey buddy!" Sybock said cheerfully, clapping Aloran's back as the poor boy tried not to yelp because of the unnecessary force.
"Hello, Ms. Uhura", Aloran said shyly as Nyota smiled at him.
As everyone settled down, Kathy took in the scene before her. The elders were sitting on the dining table, having a serious discussion as they glanced at their children every now and then. Nyota was leaning against Sybock as the two whispered softly. Aloran and Spock were having a serious discussion, with Aloran trying to explain something he had learnt that day at school and Spock listening to him sincerely.
Kathy smiled to herself as she played with her phone.
I could get used to this.
"Well, don't", T'Preth said plainly as she sat down next to her.
Kathy looked towards her in surprise.
"Sorry, didn't realize that I was thinking out loud..."
"There are a lot of things that you don't realize."
Kathy shot her sister a sarcastic 'please, do enlighten me' look. T'Preth shot her a cold smirk.
"Well, for starters, Spock is mine. You make a move on him, and you will suffer."
"Are you threatening me?" Kathy asked with a bored expression as T'Preth fumed.
"You mark my words, sister. You see all of this, in front of you? You can never have this. The love of my mother, the love of my in laws, and most importantly, the love of my fiancée. So stop trying to take what's mine."
Kathy rolled her eyes as she shot her sister a smirk.
"Oh, I see. You don't know, do you? You see, I have everything I could ever want. I have the love of my friends, my family- my real family back on Earth, my brother and guess what?"
Leaning towards her sister's ear, Kathy whispered in a mischievous yet dangerous voice.
"I also have the love of your fiancée."
And with that, Kathy smiled and walked over to Aloran and Spock, leaving behind a shocked and angry T'Preth.
Kathy didn't know what possessed her to say the things she did and quite frankly, she was embarrassed by her possessive behavior. But what she did know, was the fact that fighting her feelings for Spock was getting more and more difficult by the minute.

"Bye Aloran, I'll miss you", Kathy mumbled, her voice muffled as she squeezed her little brother in a bear like hug.
"Visit me, yeah?"
Aloran smiled at her and nodded, before turning to Spock and hugging him. Spock's lips quirked up as he patted the little Vulcan's head awkwardly.
"I'll miss you Spock. Can you take me with you to Star Fleet, please?"
"Perhaps, sometime in the near future, I will", Spock replied, making Aloran giddy with joy.
"Gee, feeling the love here", Kathy said playfully as her brother rolled his eyes and hugged her again.
"Don't worry, there is enough of me to go around."
Kathy laughed.
"I've taught you well."
"Which is not necessarily something to be proud of", T'Lan muttered under her breath, only to be ignored.
Amanda hugged Kathy tightly before pinching her cheeks, making her blush as she scrunched up her nose.
"I'm expecting you to contact me at least once a week", Amanda declared.
"Both of you", she added before turning to her son, who raised his brow at her words.
"I expect you to take care of her."
"Mother I will not be able to do so as it would go against-" Spock began, only to be cut off by Amanda.
"Screw the teacher student protocol! You will take care of her."
"Language!" Sybock chided playfully, making his mother roll her eyes.
"Live long and prosper, sir", Kathy said politely as she held u her hand in the Vulcan salute.
Sarek tilted his head as though he was observing her, before nodding in acknowledgement.
Soon enough, after everyone had wished everyone, Kathy, Nyota, and Spock made their way to the beaming pad.
As the yellow light swirled around them, Kathy turned towards Spock with a smile.
"I loved our planet. Can we come back again some time?"
Spock turned towards Kathy, a funny feeling rising in his abdominal region. And he knew it wasn't due to his cells being destroyed and reformed back on Earth as part of the whole beaming process.
It was because of this Cadet, and the way she had said the words 'our' and 'we'; almost as though them being one was natural.
The Cadet, who also happened to be his sister- in- law.
Refusing the overwhelming need to say something; anything to her (as illogical as it might sound), Spock turned away, trying to ignore the well concealed hurt in Kathy's eyes.
He would not let his illogical emotions ruin his family. And he certainly would not let them taint his Kathernia.
Yup, you can go ahead and kill me. No one will know anyways... I'm so sorry for not updating but things have been pretty hectic. I just realized that the next two years are going to be stressful for me, so I gave up the idea of writing a sequel to this story.
Yes, you heard me. Tumbling Walls was going to have a sequel. But the evil (also commonly known as education) has killed it before it's birth.
I know, I'm being dramatic. I love studying, but I hate it when it curbs my ability to do other stuff. Also, I'd like to propose a toast to this screwed chapter, and my even more screwed up life!
Just kidding, I don't drink. And even if I did, it would be illegal so... yeah...
Anyways, I hope you guys are having a wonderful day, and I love you as always!
All the love,
Kit_Kat
