So, I'm back after a long time! Anyways, here's the first chapter! Oh, and on more thing, read the note at the end! Hope you like this chapter :)

"This is Captain Jackson speaking, does anyone copy?", Little Nathan whispered, crouching low.

"This is Commander Whitlock, I copy", Kathy whispered, playing along as she bit her lip to stop giggling.

Kathy had decided to go back home that vacation, which turned out to be quite decent. Turns out, her 'parents', had turned over a new leaf; sort of. They seemed to be more calm and collected, and Kathy felt awkward around her 'mom' and Mr Jackson, especially after knowing that they were upset with her sudden disappearance. But it was worth it, as the young hybrid missed her step- brother dearly.

"Commander, what is your report?", Nathan whispered.

Lost in her own thoughts, Kathy had forgotten that she and Nathan were pretending to be The First Officer and Captain of the USS Enterprise.

The Enterprise was a new and highly developed Star Fleet vessel. It was all over the news, and Kathy could only hope that she would be lucky enough to be present for her first voyage. Kathy had never been in a ship before, so having her first space trip in this legendary vessel would be a dream come true.

Just as Kathy opened her mouth, a couple of young boys came running towards Nathan, teasing him about playing with a girl, and dragging him away. Kathy let out a sigh, and got up, trying to brush the dust of her clothes.

"Well well, what do we have here", a voice Kathy had dreaded since childhood sneered.

"Looks like the freak's back in town", one of her bully's minions said, making everyone laugh.

Kathy rolled her eyes and walked away, intent on ignoring them. She was a bit shocked that they hadn't found out sooner, for news had always traveled quite fast in her town.

"Hey freak", the leader snarled, grabbing her arm in a bone crushing grip. "Maybe you've forgotten how things work here, but when I speak to you, you don't walk away, okay!"

Kathy rolled her eyes, making the girl tighten her hold on her arm.

"And you most certainly do not roll your eyes at me. Don't forget, no one likes you, and you're alone, so no one can save your worthless ass if we decide to... how shall I put it girls? Ah, yes, give you a make over!"

Kathy yanked back her arm and speed- walked, hugging herself tightly, trying to block out the fading voices in the background.

"That's right, freak! Run while you can, but remember, no one likes you, you're alone, ALONE!"

Within minutes, Kathy had her stuff packed, making excuses about some projects when her parents asked her about her sudden decision to leave.

Kathy wiped away a stray tear, attempting to swallow the lump in her throat as she stared out of the window of the bus, desperate to get back to the only place she considered home; Star Fleet Academy.

They were right, she was everything they said she was.

A freak.

A loner.

A weirdo.

A worthless piece of shit.

She was no one, she was nothing. Jim, Bones, Uhura, Stacy, Chloe, every single one of them had left her. She could feeling the distance between them eating her up on the inside, making her wonder if it was something she had said or done, or if she just wasn't good enough.

Kathy squeezed her eyes shut, trying to drown herself in the music blasting from her headphones, her forehead creasing as she felt the onslaught of a migraine. Darkness engulfed Kathy's troubled mind, and the young cadet soon fell into a disturbed sleep.

Yeah... I'm a morbid person... but seriously people, did you see the trailer for Star Trek- Beyond?! IT'S SO FREAKIN GOOD LIKE WOW DAMN okay, I'm normal now. For those of you who are confused, the gang has kind of been scattered, they grew apart because of studies and what not, so yeah...

Also, I have some important exams coming up, so I might just disappear for a good two and a half months or so. But fret not folks, I will try my best to update!
