"Nice of you to finally confront me." I said with piercing eyes.

His hand was freezing.

"So you're team D?" I asked.

"Yeah.." Todoroki said with a bored yet confident look.

Kirishima was on his team, too.

Todoroki's and my gaze toward each other was enough to send chills up my classmate's spines.

"Woah..can i change teams?" Kirishima asked with a nervous laugh.

I stood outside the building and waited for the signal to start.

"Young (F/N)! Can you here me?" All Might asked over an earpiece.

I nodded yes.

"Good! Remember, you're a hero, so you can't damage the building. I know you're outnumbered but do your best." All Might said.

I nodded again.

"Alright! Start!" All Might yelled over an intercom.

"I'm guessing the weapon is on the top floor but just in case. Enhance: Hearing Level five."

I closed my eyes and focused.

"So.. do you think we'll win?" Kirishima asked.

"Just keep an eye out and stay on your guard." Todoroki said.

"As i thought. Top floor." I said.

I walked to the doorway and was about to step onto a field of ice but stopped my foot, inches away from touching it.

"My my.. what ever shall I do?" I said in a bored and sarcastic manner.

I stepped back and looked up.

"That'll work, too." I said as i eyed the window on the top floor.

Kirishima was propped up against it.

"Enhance: Strength Level 6"

I crouched and jumped, flying up to the window.

When i reached it I punched my fist through the window and grabbed Kirishima.

"Better put that quirk of yours to use if you don't wanna die." I whispered and threw him out.

Todoroki jumped when he heard the window shatter.

I jumped inside.

"Enhance: Strength Level 9."

I shoved the air in front of me and created a powerful wind force. It hit and knocked Todoroki back into a wall.

"Enhance: Speed Level 6."

I took off running toward the weapon but stopped when I felt my right foot trapped in ice.

Todoroki stood up and shot out huge waves of ice from his right foot.

I yanked my right foot out of the ice and jumped back, just barely dodging his dangerous attack.

"Pretty neat quirk you got there." I said.

"You, too." Todoroki responded.

We stared at each other waiting for one another to make the first move.

All of a sudden my hands were wrapped around my back by Kirishima.

"Now, Todoroki!" Kirishima yelled.

Todoroki sent a wave of ice toward me. This attack was a little bigger.

"Nice try I guess.." I said.

I broke free from Kirishima's grasp like it was nothing.

I grabbed him by his face and through him into Todoroki's ice.

He stood up a little weakly.

"Damn.. your quirk is powerful, Todoroki." Kirishima said.

"Are you alright? Sorry about that." Todoroki said.

"No worries. You got a plan?" Kirishima asked not taking his eyes off me.

"Not exactly. Just stay on the defensive until time runs out. That might be the only chance we have that's safe." Todoroki said.

"Ten minutes left!" All Might yelled over the intercom.

"Fine.." I said to myself and jumped out of the window.

'This was the best move I could of made. If I had stayed, the building would of been at risk of damage. Major damage.' I thought.

As soon as I landed I dashed into the building almost forgetting about the ice floor.

I jumped in the air.

"Enhance: Strength Level 3."

I punched the ice shattering all that was in sight.

"Enhance: Sound Negative Zero."

The sound of my footsteps were reduced to nothing.

I felt something sliding down my neck.

I slid my hand over my neck and looked at it.

It was blood from my nose.

'When i threw that punch that created a powerful wind pressure.. So level 9 is still to much for me. It's not as bad as before, though. I could only go up to level 4. But now I can go up to level 7.' I thought.

I heard footsteps running towards me.

"Where did he go!?" Kirishima said frantically.

I ran up the wall and jumped to one of the pipes in the ceiling.

I watched Kirishima stop just below me as I hung there.

I dropped down right behind him and tied his legs up with the rope.

"W-What!? But how!? I didn't even hear you!" He yelled as he tripped and fell to the ground.

"Now that you're out of the way.." I said while making my way up to the top floor.

The door was sealed with ice.

"Enhance: Strength Level 7."

I knocked on the ice with my middle finger knuckle and completely shattered it.

Todoroki was staring me down.

"Where's Kirishima..?" He asked.

"Where do you think?" I said.

"Five minutes left!" All Might yelled over the intercom.

"Well, come at me." Todoroki said.

I ran after him while dodging his ice.

'I need to get in close.'

I dodged the last ice wave and slid toward him.

I reached out for his left arm.

Before I could grab him, his left arm caught on fire.

I jumped back instinctively.

"Flames, too?" I asked.

His left side down to his waist was on fire but he quickly put it out.

He looked really unsatisfied.

"Screw it.." I said.

"Enhance: Strength, Speed, Level 9."

I ran up behind one of the big pillars holding up the ceiling and kicked it.

It immediately broke from the ceiling and floor and flew toward Todoroki.

I ran for the weapon.

Todoroki quickly froze the pillar and went to send an ice wave at me but I was already touching the weapon.

"Time's up! Hero team..WINS!" All Might yelled.

I deactivated my enhancements and sat down tiredly.

Todoroki's p.o.v

'This guy..' I thought.

I walked up to him in a agitated manner.

"You-"

I stopped when I seen him covering his ears and clenching his teeth in pain.

He was bleeding from his ears, nose and eyes.

His look of pain took away my negative emotions easily.

I grabbed his arm and pulled him up gently.

"Come on.. let's get you out of here." I said.

(F/N)'s p.o.v

'This is the first time over using my quirk has ever hurt me. Why? Could something have happened to me? Could I have caused permanent damage to my body?' I asked myself.

Blood drops dripped onto the floor as Todoroki helped me outside.

"Good job." He said.

"Thank you." I whispered.

All Might appeared in front of me.

"Well done, young (F/N)! You did wonderful! But right now you're hurt so let's get you to the nurses office!" All Might said as he picked me up bridal style.

"Really.. I'm not a big fan of watching my students hurt their bodies in order to fight." All Might whispered to me.

"Ah.. you're just a big softy." I whispered back, softly punching his chest.

"(F/N)? Can you hear me?"

My eyes slowly opened to Izuku standing at my bedside looking down at me.

"Hey.. how you feeling?" Izuku asked with a smile.

"Not bad I guess... What happened to your arm?" I asked while pointing at his right arm.

It was in a cast.

"Oh.. this? Nearing the end of mine and Kacchan's battle, I used One for- Uh, I mean, my power. My team did win, though. So, fortunately, it wasn't in vain. Thankfully, Recovery Girl healed me. Although It still hurts a little" Izuku said.

"I see. Well done, Izuku." I said.

"You too. The way you fought against Kirishima and Todoroki when it was two on one... well, it was amazing." Izuku smiled.

"Thank you. But, Todoroki was only using half of his potential it felt like." I said with closed eyes.

"What makes you think that?" Izuku asked.

"Well first of all his power his ice and fire so it's obviously powerful as it is. Second, he was using small attacks to stop me. But that could of been because he didn't want to risk damaging the building. There's no way his quirk has that little power. I tried hard yet he tried with only half of his power. It doesn't feel like a win." I said.

"I see. You've got a point. But hey, you won, didn't you?" Izuku said as he patted my shoulder.

"Barely. But I guess a win is still a win.. Not one I would saver, though." I said, muttering the last part under my breath while staring out the window.

"You okay to walk home? Want me to walk with you?" Izuku asked a little nervously.

"You sure? I appreciate it." I said.

Izuku nodded with a smile.

I walked down the hallway slowly. Izuku kept the same paste as me in order to not leave me behind.

"You okay?" Izuku asked with a concerning tone.

"Yeah.. just a little weak and tired from lack of blood." I said in a quiet voice.

Izuku rested his hand on my back preparing just in case I fell.

"There they are! I was wondering when you two would finally show up. You two are perfect for each other, both of you are recklessly powerful after all." Kaminari shouted from the class doorway.

He was standing with the rest of the class.

"Woah, you look like hell, man..you okay?" Kirishima asked.

I nodded yes while looking toward the ground. I didn't feel like talking with such lack of energy.

"O-Okay.. that's good then. But man, I gotta say, you're one powerful guy. Really, it's crazy." Kirishima said.

I didn't respond.

Ashido walked up to me.

"Hang in there, sweetie." Ashido said with a pat on my shoudler.

I was so weak and so out of it that her pat made my knees bend.

Izuku wrapped his left hand around my waist and through my right arm around his shoulder.

"Don't fall on me now." Izuku said.

"Even a pat on the shoulder made him want to fall over." Iida said.

"Sorry guys, i'm gonna walk him home. We'll see you tomorrow." Izuku said as he walked us through them.

I slowly and weakly lifted my arm and waved from behind, motioning that i'd see them later.

"Funny how the strongest in class can go to the weakest in class in less than a day." Iida said.

"This is your home..? You're pretty wealthy, huh?" Izuku asked as we stood in front of the gate to my home.

Izuku pressed the call button.

"Is that you, Master?" I heard Mia ask.

"M-Master!?" Izuku said suprisingly.

"U-Uh, this is his friend, Izuku Midoriya. I have (F/N) here with me about to pass out." Izuku said.

Mia didn't answer.

"Uhm.. hello?" Izuku said.

"Hello..?" Izuku asked again.

A car came down the driveway very quickly and stopped in front of the gate, the tires squealing as the brakes were applied.

"(F/N)!?" I heard Chiyo say.

I finally blacked out.

The next morning

I woke up to Izuku laying in my bed asleep beside me.

I leaned up.

"Hey." I said blankly while flicking his forehead.

"Ah.." Izuku leaned up while rubbing his forehead.

"What was that for..?" He asked.

"Why are you sleeping with me?" I asked.

"Wh- I-I don't know! A-Are we at your house..?" Izuku asked embarrassingly.

My breathing started to get heavy.

My hearing worsened.

"Y-Yeah.. we are." I said weakly.

"Are you still in bad shape?" Izuku asked.

"No.. I think this is something else." I said.

I got out of bed and changed my clothes.

"(F-F/N).. your back.." Izuku muttered shockingly.

"Huh..?" I looked over my shoulder in the mirror at my back.

"Oh.. almost forgot about you.." I whispered.

I stared at that nasty long scar that traveled from my right shoulder to my lower back.

"What happened to you..?" Izuku asked.

"Honestly, I don't know.. One day I woke up in a hospital badly injured and I had this scar. Soon after that, the doctor told me about my father. About how he died by slowly drowning to death." I said while putting a shirt on.

Izuku looked to the floor in pity.

"I'm so sorry.." Izuku said.

"You don't have to apologize. Besides, it doesn't hurt anymore. Not in the slightest." I looked back at Izuku with a closed eye half smile. "I can't feel anything." I said.

Izuku looked up wide eyed.

"I'm going out. Feel free to help yourself to anything you'd like." I said.

"Wait, where are you going?" He asked.

"Nowhere special." I said as i left.

Izuku's p.o.v

I watched as (F/N) left.

'Should i go with him?' I asked myself.

"(F/N).. how much suffering have you endured to lose your emotions?" I whispered.

"So he told you?"

I looked up at a girl dressed in a maid's outfit.

"That's surprising.. considering he only told me and Ms. Chiyu. But only after we beat it out of him." She said with evil eyes.

"Beat!?" I said in a fearful voice.

"I'm kidding." She said blankly.

"Oh.." I said.

"One day he was normal and the next day he wasn't. Like his soul escaped him. It was the day after he woke up in that hospital. That ship accident he was in completely drained him." She said.

"Accident? What happened?" I asked.

(F/N)'s p.o.v

It was hard to breath.

I felt dizzy.

I walked past the automatic doors to the hospital and placed my hands on the front desk.

"Uh- Uhm.. how can i help you, sir?" The nurse asked.

"I don't know what's wrong with me.. But i need your help." I said. My breathing becoming more shallow.

She stood up quickly and pressed a button on the hospital's phone.

"I'm bringing a patient up, get a doctor!" She shouted in the phone.

She ran to my side and helped me to a wheelchair.

"Hang in there, sweetie. I'll get you to a doctor." She smiled worringly.

I passed out.

"You ready, son?" Dad asked.

"Yeah. Let's go." I said.

'Huh? Am i dreaming?'

Dad and i boarded the ship.

"Thanks for coming with me, son. I'm happy we can finally spend time together. Even if it's on a business trip." Dad chuckled.

'Dad..'

"No need to thank me. I'm your son so of course i'm going to come with you. Especially since we haven't seen each other in a year." I smiled.

'Am i smiling?'

Dad ruffled my hair.

"Sorry about that. If i could, i'd spend everyday with you but work just won't let me. That will be my greatest regret until the day i die." He said with a half smile as i looked up at him with a smile on my face and sadness in my eyes.

"What exactly are you regretful for? My feelings or yours?" I whispered.

Dad's eyes widened.

He rubbed the back of his head and laughed, breaking the silence.

"Man. You really do take after your mother. Her eyes could pierce through your very soul, making you pour out the truth in your heart. Well, that might of been because of her quirk." Dad laughed.

"My mom? I know you knew her but you've never actually spoken about her." I said.

Dad let out a quiet sigh.

"She was my first love. And to this day, my only love. It was a long time ago though, back when we were in highschool. I would always find myself admiring her beauty in the middle of class. Everyday i would work up the courage to confess to her but just ended up following behind her as she walked home."

"Dad that's weird." I said blankly.

"I wasn't finished yet!" Dad yelled.

"Our houses were right beside each other so of course we would take the same way. But one day, as i was following shortly behind her, she stopped and turned to me and said 'Why do you follow me home everyday?' I got scared and walked the other way instinctively. But she ran after me and stopped me. She looked into my eyes with her beautiful glowing purple eyes and asked 'Why are you following me?' She was using her quirk to make me spill the truth. But i ended up confessing to her. Long story short, we stayed together through the rest of highschool and college and a couple years after that until we finally separated. She found someone else she held more love for. That was your father. My friend." Dad said.

I stood there in fascination and curiosity.

"How was he?" I asked.

"He was a great person. He put others before himself. He always took up for me. We met during college." He said.

I had many questions but i didn't ask because dad looked sad.

"Thanks, dad. For taking care of me. I'm grateful to you." I said.

"Uh- where did that come from?" He asked.

I didn't respond.

He formed a smile.

"Looks like this is the end of our chat for now. I'm going to go check in with my clients. In the meantime, explore around. Maybe you'll find a nice looking girl." Dad said.

I smiled in a sarcastic way. "Yeah, maybe you will, too." I said.

"Never good to be with someone when you still love someone else." Dad said as he walked away.

"Hopeless.." I sighed.

I looked around for anything that would pique my interest.

And then i found it.

Across the front deck of the ship there was a guy in a black hoodie staring of into the sea.

I couldn't see his face from the hood, but i seen his long light blue hair sticking out from the side.

He turned toward me and gave me a friendly smile and walked away.

"Yeah, i'm just going to follow you real quick.." I whispered to myself as i went after him.

'Come on.. someone else should have noticed him by now. He's the only person that's underdressed.' I thought.

"Enhance: Sound Negative Zero, Agility Level Three." I whispered.

I was about twenty feet behind him.

We were down in the ship's bilge, the lowest part of the ship, below sea level.

It was dark.

Light steam soaked out of the pipes on the walls.

'Yeah, this guy is definitely up to something.' I thought to myself.

He turned into a small room.

"Enhance: Hearing Level Three."

I took cover behind some of the cargo.

"Kurogiri, i've finished scouting the ship. As expected, there are no heroes on board." The guy in the black hoodie said.

"Excellent. I've just finished planting the bombs." A different person said.

My body went numb in fear.

'Bombs!?'

"Now we can finally get rid of him before he learns to control that power.. that bastard that carries Nova." The black hooded man said in a phycotic tone.

'I have to get everyone off the boat, now!'

I took off running toward the exit. Thankfully, i emitted no sound.

I suddenly fell into a black hole and landed in a small room.

"What the hell.. what just happened?" I asked myself confusingly.

"I thought someone was following me."

I looked up and seen the guy in the black hoodie and another guy in a suit. But the one in the suit had black mist for a head.

"Your stealth is good but i just couldn't shake the feeling that i was being watched." He said.

"Who are you two?" I asked trying not to show fear. My face didn't show fear but my body was trembling.

"We're villains." He said.

"Yeah, no shit." I said coldly.

"What is your quirk?" He asked.

"Don't have one." I said.

"Oh, how unfortunate." He pulled out rope from a bag and walked over to me.

"Get up and sit in that chair." He said.

I got up and did as he said and he tied me to the chair and taped my mouth.

"Now then, be a good little boy and wait for your demise. Let's go home, Kurogiri." He said.

The mist guy opened a portal and they both walked inside and dissapeared.

'Enhance: Strength Level Three.'

I broke out of the rope and yanked the tape off of my mouth.

"Gotta hurry."

I made it to the top of the deck. Everyone was still enjoying their time and laughing.

"Enhance: Strength Level Four."

I jumped from the deck up to the captain's room.

I kicked the door off the hinges and stepped inside.

"Just what do you think you're doing!?" The captain yelled.

"Look old man, this ship is infested with bombs. We need to get everyone off the boat right now!" I yelled.

"Nonsense. We double checked the whole ship before we left. Now i suggest you get out of here before i throw you off this ship!" The captain said.

I stomped over to him and angrily grabbed him by his shirt.

"I'm not kidding dammit! Do you really want to risk these people's lives over your stubborness!? Please!" I yelled.

The captain hesitated before announcing his self over the intercom.

"E-Everyone-"

The back of the ship suddenly exploded.

The captain and I fell over.

"W-What's happening!?" The captain yelled.

Screams of bloody murder flooded the ship.

"No.. please.. this can't be happening.." I said to myself as i breathed heavily. My body tingled with numbness and I felt like I was going to black out from the overwhelming fear I was feeling.

"H-Hey, old man! Where was everyone before the explosion!?" I asked.

"T-Th-They were i-i-in the back.. r-right in the middle of.. that explosion.." He said.

His eyes were lost as he sat there on his knees. He was in shock.

I slapped him in the face.

"Come on, old man! Help everyone onto the lifeboats now!" I yelled.

"R-Right!" The captain said.

He stumbled before quickly taking off to the lifeboats.

"Now.. time to go find dad." I said to myself.

I was in the middle part of the boat. Where the rooms were.

The ship was already flooding, the water went up to my waist.

"Dad! Dad! Are you here!?" I shouted.

"(F/N), is that you!?"

I heard dad's voice just up ahead.

He was locked inside his room.

"Enhance: Strength Level Five!"

I slammed my shoulder into the door several times but the door wouldn't budge.

"(F/N)! (F/N)!"

My dad called out to me but i wasn't listening. I was to focused on getting the door open.

Dad reached his hand through the small window in the door and rested it on my cheek.

I stopped and looked up into his eyes.

They were mixed with sadnews and happiness.

He formed a smile on his face.

In that moment, everything but his voice went silent.

"I'm sorry i wasn't always there for you over these past years. There wasn't a day where i didn't think about you. You're my son. My son. And i won't let you die before me, got that? You're going to live a long and joyful life.. for you and me... Get outta here." He whispered.

By then i was already speechless with tears dripping from my face.

"N-No.." I muttered.

"I can't.. lose anyone else. I can't. If you really have to die then i'm staying right here and dying with you!" I yelled.

"So.. you'd rather take the easy way out?" He asked.

I propped my head against the door and looked down.

"Yeah.. that's right." I said.

"When did i raise a son that would give up like this..?" He asked.

"Would a hero give up like this?" He asked.

My eyes widened for a second.

"No.. a hero would do everything they could to save you." I said.

"Sometimes heroes have to make the hardest of choices.. and let go of the person they couldn't save. A single hero can't save everyone. You're no good to the world dead, (F/N). If you want to save me, the save me by saving yourself. Please.. son. It's not your time just yet." He said.

"Dammit.. i'm sorry, dad." I whispered with more tears falling than before.

"It's okay, i promise you." He smiled.

"I have something i want to pass down to you." He said as he placed his hand over my chest.

"This quirk.. is very dangerous. Dangerous and powerful. I trust that you'll use it with great responsibility. I've named it, Nova. This is my last gift to you, (F/N)." He said.

His hand started to glow on my chest.

I felt it. The power of Nova coursing through my body.

It hurt. But only for a few seconds.

"Now go." He said.

I hesitated to leave him but finally left without saying a word.

Father's p.o.v

'Thank goodness.. i can die in peace now. I might have bestowed you with a gift.. or a burden. To me it was a burden. I could never control it's power. But you, (F/N).. i believe you can control it's immense power, and defeat the one the forced that quirk onto me.'

(F/N)'s p.o.v.

The ship was pointed straight into the air.

I managed to climb to the very top.

I looked out onto the sea.

"I'll have to use my power to jump away from the wreckage.. Enhance: Strength Level Four."

As i was getting ready to jump i felt a sharp pain in my back.

I looked over my shoulder and seen a big sharp piece of metal embedded into my back.

I fell off the ship and passed out.

When i awoke, i was on a bed breathing through a breathing machine.

I looked up to a blood bag.

I was being pumped with blood.

"Oh, you're awake."

What looked to be the doctor said as he looked up from his clipboard.

He was sitting in a chair to my left.

"I was just about to leave." He said.

I took the breathing piece away from my mouth.

"Hey now, you need to keep that on." He said.

"It's okay. I can breath fine." I said.

"Well.. if so then it's fine." He said.

"Can you lift the bed up?" I asked.

He stood up and pressed a button on the side of the bed that raised half of the bed up.

I was so out of it from the dream i had. It felt so real.

"What's wrong?" The doctor asked.

"Just a dream.." I whispered.

"Hm.. a dream? Care to tell me about it?" He asked.

"..i was on a boat in the middle of the sea. Villains planted bombs on it and blew it up. I had to leave my dad for dead and escape by myself. Before i was about to escape, i was hit by debris in my back. And i fell into the sea unconscious." I said.

"I'm afraid that was real." The doctor said.

"What..?" I asked.

"The American's found you washed ashore in their country and contacted Japan. You were transferred into this hospital where i took care of you. You were the only survivor on that ship.." He said.

"I see.. so I was on that ship after all.. wait. Only survivor? I thought there were over a hundred survivors?" I said.

"When you woke, you somehow had it etched into your brain that you were never on that ship. And that there were survivors. That was do to the trauma that you experienced." The doctor said.

I laughed through my nose with out smiling.

"Unbelievable.." I whispered.

'If my memories were changed then how did i know that dad gave me Nova? No.. wait.. i never actually thought about it. Or rather, my mind was keeping me from thinking about it. All i knew was that dad gave me Nova and that's it.. wow.. the brain works so mysteriously.'

"Would you like to know what happened to you today?" The doctor asked.

"Huh? Oh right. How could i forget?" I said.

"Well, a blood clot formed in your brain. If you had waited any longer, you surely would of had a stroke and possibly died. Fortunately, we managed to dissolve you the blood clot with Thrombolytic medicines. We got information from your aunt that over using your quirk causes rapid blood loss from your eyes, nose and ears. We're quite sure that's the reason behind the blood clot. And, both of your eardrums were ruptured, also due to rapid blood loss. We had to call in a professional to heal your eardrums with their quirk or otherwise you would have been completely deaf forever." The doctor said.

"So that's why i felt a sharp pain in my ears after that match." I said.

"In any case, you need to be more careful. To much blood loss will kill you, (F/N), i'm sure you already know that. Next time you could end up with permanent damage. Or more likely, you'll die." He said.

"Well, thanks, doctor. I got school so i'm gonna go." I said as i got out of bed.

"You know i can't let you leave until you're discharged, right?" He asked.

I changed out of the hospital clothes into my normal clothes.

"Like i said, I've got school. I'm fine, I'll take it slow." I said as i walked out of the room.

'Glad my blood is restored now.' I thought.

The elevator stopped at the first floor and the doors opened.

I stepped out and yawned.

Out of nowhere i was tackled to the ground by Izuku.

"Thank god you're okay! I was so worried!" Izuku said with tears in his eyes.

"Izuku..?" I said.

"Why didn't you tell me!?" Izuku yelled.

The worry in his voice caught me off guard.

"I-.. I'm sorry." I muttered looking up at him.

"Next time you're in trouble you call for me, okay? Promise me." Izuku said.

"..i promise." I said.

Izuku unmounted me and helped me up.

He wiped the tears from his eyes with his sleeve.

"Hey.. you okay?" Todoroki asked in his bored yet concerning voice.

"How are you, my friend?" Iida asked.

"Todoroki, Iida? You're here, too?" I asked.

"Well yeah, you're my classmate. And it's not just us, the whole class is here." Todoroki said as he turned around and looked over at our classmates.

They filled the lobby's seats.

My eyes widened in surprise.

For the first time in years, the ice over my heart started to slowly melt by the warmth of friendship.

A genuine smile was forced onto my face and i instinctively covered it with my hand as i looked to the ground.

Everyone looked at me in shock.

"Woah.. that's.. surprising." Kaminari said.

I removed my hand and looked up.

"Thanks guys." I said.

I looked at Todoroki and gave him a closed eyed smile.

"Uh-" Todoroki's face lit up red.

"Hey, since we're all together, let's go do karaoke!" Kaminari suggested as he fist pumped the air.

Everyone looked uninterested.

"Sure, why not?" I said.

"*Ahem* Well, if you're going then I guess I'll go." Todoroki said with each word getting more quiet.

"You can count me in, too." Izuku smiled.

"Me, too." Iida said.

"Fine." Kirishima said.

"It could be fun. Besides, we all need to get closer as a class, right?" Ashido said as she looked at Uraraka.

"Right." Uraraka smiled.

"Guess I'll go, too, then. Nothing better to do." Bakugou said.

Everyone else nodded in agreement.

"Alright, that settles it." I said as we all walked out of the hospital and off into the night.

All of us laughed and joked as we walked.

Izuku and Todoroki stayed close to me on my left and right side.

I would catch Todoroki staring at me and he would instantly look away, along with Izuku.

Kirishima through his arm around my shoulder and smiled.

I looked around me at what i had. This moment was perfect. I wanted to protect it, fight for it, and live for it. This was the motivation i was looking for.

'I found it, dad..'
