hours apon hours of searching for him..

error, dream, and ink looks for any trace of him but when they even got close to getting any hints they would start back at where they started

at the moment they were in outertale. they were stumped and didn't know what to do.

"did we check with geno?" dream asks and ink nods "i did. he said he hasn't seen anyone in the save screen in a long time. he highly doubts that blue is there."

"oh okay"

"hmm how many aus have we checked in total?" error asks and ink thinks for a second "i've at least check 52 aus"

"i've check 33 au's" dream said with a frown and error looks down

 "i've check 46, so in total we've checked 131 aus, geez i'm really lacking at my job" he grumbles and ink rolls his eyes. 

"we should go check a few mor- oh? i think someone is trying to summon me. hmm.." ink says and tries to listen in on what the people are saying

 "we should probably give up....i dont think he's going to actually come. he's probably busy.."one of the kids say and ink rolls his eyes

 "awww~ moon and star are trying to contact me again.. i'll go see them after we find blue." ink says and then he hears crying and he bites his 'lip' 

"oh..geez" he says and both error and dream look at ink with question. 

"whats up?" error asks and ink stands up 

"i think one of them are crying. i gotta go check up on them. i'll be right back i promise" ink says and splatters his paint on the ground and jumps through.

"we should probably give up....i don't think he's going to actually come. he's probably busy.." moon says and blue's eyes water

 "dammit..." he says and lets out frustrated cries.

 star and moon look at each other and frown. 

they had no idea how to calm blue down.

 star gives a look of disbelief

 "i don't get it! inky usually comes by when we summon him! why wont he come help us!?" 

he bursts out and starts crying as well and moon hugs him

 "brother calm down. like i said he's probably busy with something-" 

"where did the person go?" star interrupted and moon looked back to where blue was standing and he starts panicking 

"H-HUH? HEY! GET BACK HERE!! YOU CANT JUST GO AROUND THE LAB LIKE YOU OWN IT!!" moon yelled and started running down one of the halls, leaving star by himself.

star sighs and sits down. he watches the paint for any bubbling and gets nothing suddenly he hears a vial fall off the table and shatter on the ground

 "huh?" he says and looks at the vial on the ground, then the being that pushed it off the table with with its large tail. 

stars breathing starts to shorten and he starts to crawl away from the mixmorpher.

 "n-no NO!! ST-STAY AWAY!!" he screams and grabs an empty vial and throws it at the mixmorpher.

 the glass shatters when it hits it and it looks at the broken glass on the floor then walks closer to the young boy.

 it cackles and bares it teeth at star. 

star backs as far away as he can from it and he his back hits the wall. 

the fox creature inches closer but then stops and looks behind it.

 "hey there pal! sorry, but he's not on the menu!" ink says as he pulls on the foxes tail and stars eyes widen

 "i-ink!!" his says and starts crying with joy. 

"heya kiddo!" ink says and the fox growls and tries to bite at ink.

 ink of course jumps back and swings his brush at the creature. 

paint get over the foxes face and gets in his eyes.

 the fox yelps and shakes its head to get the paint off but surprisingly it doesn't work.

it growls and morphs into a mouse and runs off. ink smiles and watches it. he then walks over to star and helps him up. "hey there starry!" he says and star hugs ink tightly

"woah kiddo. whats up? i know its been a while since i last visited"

"i was starting to think you didn't want to come see us anymore!!" star cried and moon walked back in 

"ugh he has some nerve. oh! ink!" moon said and ran up to come hug him. 

"told you he would come star!" 

"yeah yeah, i should've believed in you."

"well could you two tell me why you needed to summon me?" ink asks and star and moon look at each other.

 star notices blues not with them and he frantically looks around 

"DID YOU LEAVE HIM BY HIMSELF!?" he asks and moon jumps from him yelling 

"y-yeah!? i mean he has potions bag right?" moon asks and star groans

 "moon what is on your back?" star asks and moon looks then his eyes widen 

"OH CRAP!!" he yells and starts running back down the hallway.

ink is having trouble trying to piece things together. 

star grabs inks hand and starts running as well down the hallway.

"there was this person who was trying to get a hold of you earlier!" 

star explains and ink gets even more confused but then thinks of something.

 he shakes his head and lets star lead him to the place that moon is running to. 

"so sorry! i forgot that i took the bag!" moon says and blue sighs 

"its fine." 

star and ink enter the room and ink backs up in shock. 

"blue!?"

blue turns around and looks at ink 

"y-you came!" blue said and started to cry again.

ink looks up at the ceiling "dream! i found him! he's here in cursedtale! "

"you did? thats great! me and error are on our way!" dream says and ink smiles 

"we've been looking for you for so long!! have you been here the entire time!?" ink asks and blue nods "y-yeah..it hasn't really been fun. i made a friend but i don't think he's alive now.."  blue said and looked at his feet.

"w-wait..you...you did?" ink asks and he starts to get a little scared. "who..what was their name?" he asks and blue looks at him "h-his name...he says- said.. that he was called potion.." he says and ink gives a fearful look.

"bubby's...dead?" star asks and starts to cry.

 "nononononononononono! h-he's fine! why don't you two go back to your rooms?" ink suggests and star whimpers and moon takes his hand and leads him to their room.

after they leave, ink sighs and gives a sad look. "potion..i should've known.." ink says and blue looks at him. 

"were those his twin brothers he was talking about?" blue asks and ink nods.

"i never got to tell him..they...aren't actually his brothers...they're actually....his kids....they were scientifically made by his father with his DNA. he cant exactly read well so he had me translate them to him. now they're my responsibility..i kinda agreed to serve as some parent figure to them. i think in some way that potion kinda knew anyway. i need to get them out of here..." ink vents and blue takes in all the information.

"i see.. well..thank you for finally coming...i was wondering when you would come.." blue mumbled and ink sighed "i'm really sorry blue..i know i've been a big jerk but...we need you-"

"no don't start with that..no matter what you say, i'm not coming back to the star sans's..." blue says and ink frowns 

"ink please come help! error's getting angry and-"

a scream is heard and ink jumps as he recognizes the scream "STAR!" he gasps and starts running to them. blue gets worried and chases after ink
