The next morning a nurse wakes me up. She has the ginger ale and ginger snaps I requested. I still spend the first 40 minutes in the bathroom. Then when stomach settles I nibble on the cookie and sip the ginger ale. I take a shower and get dressed. I am brushing and blow drying  my hair when the nurse taps on the bathroom door. "The Doctor is here to examine you."

"I will be out in a minute. I once again just pull my hair up in a ponytail and walk out.

I hold out my hand, "hello my name is Ashley. I shake both the nurse and doctor hand.  "I know you were trying to tell me whom you were earlier but these munchkins give me a rude awakening the last few days."

The nurse smiles, "I am nurse Rose. I am assigned to your detail while here." She says as she shakes my hand.

"I am doctor Cassie. I am to examine and confirm your pregnancy and exactly how far along you are for the council. I am also suppose to take some fluid to prove paternity, but we have to confirm you are at least 14 days along before we can do that."

"Well I since it will be Saturday night I was raped by him. I will be 2 weeks this Saturday."

"Conception is usually within 24-72  hours after the sperm has left the recipient. It depends how far and fast his sperm had to go and where your egg was when along the path to your uterus." I will tell council the earliest we can test for paternity will be Wednesday morning.  I will do an ultrasound before the paternity test to confirm your exact conception date. Now I am going to give you some paternity vitamins and Diclegis for morning sickness. The nurse can let me know if it helps.

"Doctor Cassie? Is there something wrong? Is that why your assigning me a nurse?"

"Oh your ok. Just typical pregnancy stuff, but with a stress of where you are it is best to just monitor you. I am also going to suggest through Monday you can do daily wolf runs and after that you can exercise in human form.  Wednesday, when we do paternity test we also will do an ultrasound I  the morning and the test that afternoon. Then expect Thursday to be the first day of the trial. The first thing they will do is have me prove how far along you are and paternity. Plus 'A' will have someone stay with the sample and results 24x7 to insure it won't get tampered with. Plus I always do a private testing on my own to verify the results. However that is not announced to anyone in council."

I look at her and whisper in her ear, "not here. Been told room could have ears."

She stops and says, "see this necklace?" I nod my head yes, "My mate gave me this. He is an Elite guard. It is a scrambler and it keeps ears from listening. This way patient/doctor confidentiality is maintained. I have my lawyer with me at all council hearings to protect me and my patients. They must submit all questions to my lawyer 24 hours ahead of my testimony. Then if they ask for me to expand it will depend on her if I answer. She will have yours and my interest at heart since we use the same lawyer.

I will be telling her when I leave her next week on Thursday trials can begin. Any questions?"

"Have you ever had a discrepancy between your results and court results?"

"Only one time and it confused me at first until we realized she had fraternal triplets and different fathers. Well actually it was identical twin girls which we knew about and a boy which was hidden. It took me over an hour of searching with an ultrasound to find the third pup."

"Oh my, I hope that isn't me. I still keep asking myself about handling two pups."

"After meeting your alpha and parents you will be fine." Just then my stomach grumbles and the doctor laughed, "that is my que to go. And yours to go eat. I will see you Wednesday. Do not hesitate to tell nurse Rose if you need anything." She then left.

Nurse Rose grinned at me, "let me take you to the cafeteria and we can tell Jean you are going to go on a run with doctor orders."

We left the room. I saw Mom, Dad, Alpha, Rose, Daniel and 'A' waiting in the chairs talking by the elevator. I then told them what all the doctor said. Jean said, "OK easy schedule this week. I will set up the same routine
6:00am wake up
7:30am  cafeteria if  your still dealing with morning sickness we push back cafeteria start time for you.
8:30am run/train
12:00pm cafeteria
1:00 meet with lawyer
4:00 rest
5:00 get ready for supper- they like wolves to always be in dresses/suits for evening meals. I will arrange for several dresses and wraps for the ladies and various shirts and ties to go with the men's suits." She looks directly at me then, "and yours will be maternity that can grow with your pups.

"Mom ordered a bunch of maternity clothes for me."

"Well, I will order dress attire for evening wear, so you will be dressed for the many evening meals. Now on with my schedule

6:00 cafeteria
7:30  they usually do encourage some sort of group activity, and I will arrange various ones in the lobby here by the elevator. This way others can come to you. Just before they come elite will be here to keep them in lobby. The Bluemoon Pack has been barred from this floor. Just like you are barred from their floor. They are on the second floor.

8:45 you will hear an announcement informing everyone time to wrap up events. They will then start departing.

Oh and alpha the door to the right of the elevator has been set up an office for you. This way you can still conduct business as needed or set up private meetings. Since we know you will be here on and off depending on Moonscape Pack needs."

Jason replies, "thank you. My heir is right now running it with my mate's assistant. But will be nice to have a secure place to conduct any meetings I have."

"Just be sure to go through Daniel so no conflict occur," Jean replies.

Just then the elevator dinged and opened.  We went down to eat and start our schedule at 9:10am. In the elevator I look at my pack members and say, "please just go ahead and eat your breakfast at 7:30. I will join you when I can if what the doctor prescribes doesn't work."

Alpha laughed and said, "We ate a snack and drank coffee already. Jean had coffee and donuts sent to the lobby here at 6:00 so we got dressed. Then ate that until we could leave as a true pack together."

Zulu was ready to run and all through breakfast kept saying, "hurry up. Eat. I wanna run." Then would eat more bacon and sausages.

Quinn and his dad walked over to us as we were lead out to the training grounds. "We were just getting ready to head out on the trails for a run. Would you like to join us?"

Alpha looked at them, "are you sure that is a good idea? Alice was not happy about my pack member."

Dave looks pained and replies, "Alice has been sent back to the pack. She took Jace being labeled a rogue very hard. Then was pleased when she heard what Blueballs Pack did." He looked down to the ground with a grin on his face and then back up to my Alpha's eyes. "I have had to order a collar to be placed on her and she is confined to her room. I do fear she is going rogue. After the trial Quinn will take over the pack. I will take her away on a vacation."

Alpha replied, "I am sorry. With the trial pushed back until next week have you thought about goin back to the pack?"

"Yes, I leave tomorrow morning when a few of my warriors arrive. They will be assigned to him."

'A' spoke up, "I will be assigning that one of the elites at your pack now be assigned to her. We cannot have an elder Luna loosing it at this time."

Dave looked at him, "I appreciate it. Then he looked at us, "they have changing rooms let's go run. Alex is ready to take off."

I look at him, "I am sorry to hear about Luna Alice." I then turn toward Alpha, my dad, Daniel and  'A' and said, "why don't you guys go with them. This way you can run hard and I can run more leisurely. I have mom, Jean and Rose here. We can have a she-wolf run."

A couple wolves who were heading toward the changing area stopped at said, "we are having a she-wolf run? That sounds cool. I know just the path we can run. Let's do the lake path. Meet you outside the changing room in 10 minutes. This way I can link some friends I made here and invite them." Then they turn and continue walking.  "Should ask our scheduler to arrange a she-wolf luncheon too" I heard them say as they walked out of sight. 

Alpha and 'A' glared at me. "Guess you are now doing a she-wolf run. Keep your links opened to us."

'A' added, "I will have 'B', 'C', and 'H' join you," He then turned the guys, "I know what trail we can go on to push your wolf. Then I know the short cuts to the lake if needed."

We all go our separate ways and agree to meet up at 1:00 on our floor.  We have a nice run with about 60 she-wolves. I noticed a couple of them had the smell of the Bluemoon Pack, but I avoided them.  When we got back from the run a picnic had been set up by the lake. Many mates joining their she wolves. Jean let Daniel know and all the guys joined us. Quinn sat down on the blanket but had his Dad between us. His dad kept talking about going to be a grandpa. He asked, "would it be ok for me to have a special crib made similar to the one all my pups slept in? It has our pack symbol and we could include your pack symbol so they will know their roots?"

I look at Alpha and he shakes his head ok. "I put my hand on my stomach and reply  "we would love that."

He then turns to Alpha Jason, "I heard your heir is expecting a pup. It would be my honor if you allow me to send a special crib with your pack symbol engraved on it for him."

I looked at him and said, "even if you have had a falling out with Jace, you should still arrange for a crib for his other pup." I said with a little pain in my voice.

Dave looked at me, "that is your Luna trait coming out. Plus that might appease my mate also. I will go contact my woodworkers to get started. I will see you at supper." Then he jumped up and left.

Jean said, "it is 12:40 we should start heading in. We have a 1:00 meeting. Quinn stands up and grabs my hand and pulls me up, "Thank you for accepting dad's offer. Even though I really hate my brother right now and feel a strong dislike toward my ex. I still like the suggestion they also get a special crib from Dad. You will make a great Luna one day. He then leaned over kissed my cheek.  Then looked at the others, "before the lecture I still only view her like one of my sisters if I had a sister. Don't read anything else into it. Then he also kissed my mom's cheek and got a growl from dad, but dad took his hand he offered and shook it.

When we got inside my lawyer was waiting. She took me into the secure room and asked the others to follow. "This morning while you were gone their were five listening devices found on this floor. Since only limited wolves are allowed here on this floor that means we have 15 suspects. We did not remove them. Instead here is a special bracelet you will wear at all times from now on. It is one that will cause all to be disabled and hear high pitch buzz."

'A' growls, "why was I not linked and informed of this immediately?"

"You are being informed now. I report to my client first." She then turns and looks at me, "you will always be my first priority and at anytime we are speaking it can be one on one or whom you wish to be in the room. I am going to be discussing with you the events of the night you met Jace. Do you want them in here?"

I look at her and then I look at them. "Mom, Dad and Alpha- I know you had a wolf-seer probe and show you what happened that night, I think I would prefer just my lawyer here for this. Maybe later I can talk with you about it."

Rose asked, "would you mind if I stayed to monitor your vitals?"

I nod and say, "ok you can stay too." I then stand up and hug my parents and nod to my alpha. Then they leave the room. 'A' does one more sweep of the room. I will be outside at the desk if you need me." He then leaves.
