Ryan's point of view

Well after they did prove Jace had his fluids on her sheet. They started calling all the people at the party to give witness.  This did include both doctors.

Day 78 of the trial. They finally called Jace to the stands. They had in previous days called upon party guest who repeatedly said the same one of these scenarios...

Her brothers were drinking and had a drink with Jace. Then a few minutes later their sister was announced. Then Jace charged up the steps yelling, "Mate." No one had seen them slip anything into the drink.

Some did or did not witness Jace rejection of her.

Then even called the brothers who stated the only thing we were drinking and handing out that night was beer. Everyone opened their own bottles. They said we even had a contest who could pop the lid off the farthest using our claw.

They admitted it took a few Alphas to hold back the father and the brothers from attacking Jace that night. They had to have each of them get their mates to calm them down. Their alpha had to command us to return to the pack. He said now was it the time.

JACE'S POV

Finally. I am going to be called to be a witness.

Bluemoon lawyer Shane, "I would like for you to tell us your side of the story. The one that lead to you loosing the chance to be alpha of Ravenclaw Pack and becoming Bluemoon alpha."

"I was invited to Ozland's birthday party of his oldest's pups 16th birthday. I was down on the ballroom floor talking with various party guest when I was handed a drink from one of the Swift brothers. I drink it and then started feeling odd."

(I take a deep breath thinking back to the party. I pull a pill out of my pocket and quickly swallow it. Then take a drink. I was expecting to see Mackenzie coming down, but instead it was Ashley. My wolf went crazy since I knew he was my real mate. My thoughts was shit this wasn't suppose to happen. She isn't suppose to be here.) I took another sip of water. "I am sorry this is so hard to think about. Since that night I have been made into a villian and feel vulnerable since I lost my strength, pack and family."

I then take another drink as if I am a victim. Then I start To talk again. "Well my wolf went crazy. I ran up the stairs and remember grabbing her. I yelled Mate, but my wolf was crying out in anger and my human side had to push him back.  My human side was rejoicing and saying MATE MATE MATE.

I ran her up to the room and threw her into the bed. I was getting ready to mark her. My wolf came out and started saying now NOT THE MATE, but I could not stop my human side who was to far into the action. My wolf side got angry and took her. My two sides were battling about being the mate and not being the mate.

(I took a deep breath and a sip of water. I went back to that night thinking I knew my wolf wanted to claim her, but I would not. It still made me angry she showed up and I thought why not teach her a lesson for not RSVPing like her brothers had. I ripped off her clothes. I got the hardest I had ever been. I unfasten my pants and entered her tight pussy. I was victorious because I did make her cum, and she did not even realize it. I then commanded she shift as I withdrew. She shifted and I rolled her from her back to her belly. I then shifted and my clothes ripped off. I jumped in the bed and took her that way.)

I came back to the present. I took another sip. "This is so hard to talk about."

Shane ask, "I know it is. Do you need a break?"

My forehead sweats and I reply taking a deep breath, "No. I just want to get this over with. I really don't remember much at first, but it started to come back. I felt disgusted that I had sex with her. I was angry that we had sex because I realized she was not my mate. I was glad I hadn't marked her. I was so confused. I looked down and I thought she was asleep, and my wolf took over started howling In my head I smell my mate.

I turned around and saw Mackenzie there. She was standing at the door shocked. She turned to run back to her room. I ran after her naked. She was the scent I smelled.

She had tears in her eyes when I ran into her room and pushed the door closed behind me. She then smelt me and asked, "who drugged you?" She then yelled. "You smell like that slut. She dared to take what is mine." She then marked me and I realized she forgave me. We then made love."

(Once again thinking back Mackenzie walked into the room with a robe on. She also taken a pill by then. This caused me to respond to her. I was ready to take her then. She realized that and ran to her room. I thought she caught me with my mate. I ran naked after her. She threw off her robe and jumped onto the bed. I slammed the door closed. I jump on her and started slamming myself into her. Just as I felt her release and myself release she marked me. Then I clasped on her. I laugh and said READY FOR ME TO RETURN THE FAVOR?")

I take another sip of waters and say, "Then my dad came in yelling I had taken my brothers mate, but I had taken my own. I quickly covered her and me in a blanket. Then Ashley came in along with others angry wolves which were her parents and a couple brothers. They were claiming I had stated Ashley was my mate." I took a deep breath and looked at the council, "I knew it looked bad, but I still had the affects of that drug in my system. I told them I think someone slipped something into my drink. It confused my wolf. I was fighting with my wolf. I ended up taking Ashley since she was the first she-wolf I saw. Once I was in the room my wolf realized she wasn't my mate, but my human side was still fighting it. I was still smelling my mate nearby. Thankfully before I had marked the wrong wolf I caught myself.  I took my real mate, Mackenzie.. This made them angry. So I thought since I had publicly announced her as mate by accident then I should publicly denounced Ashley.  I realized based on what my mate had said I had been slipped a roofie which made me falsely publicly announce her as mate. With the way Ashley was acting I then wondered if her family had done the same to her.

I realize now I should not of denounce her as a false mate when I rejected her. I am not sure why she felt a public rejection since she wasn't my real mate. I figured she was faking the whole thing. Then I figured maybe her family did the same thing to her they did to me. They wanted her to be claimed and out of the house. I did feel angry again. I looked at my mate, Mackenzie and said shift. She shifted and I marked and claimed her like they did in the old days. This way no one could claim she wasn't mine."

(Dad came in. He was yelling at me for hurting my brother. Others I realized came in then. I decided to take Mackenzie the old way. I commanded her to shift. I shifted and took her. It was exciting to take her publically. It actually caused me to stay knotted in her for over 30 minutes. During that time everyone left. Then we shifted again and I f**ed her many times that night.)

I came out of my memory again with Lawyer Ryan ask, "you expect us to believe the Swift father and brothers slipped her and you some sort of drug? When them and their pack is known for truth, justice and honesty?"

I took another sip of water, "Well if they did not then someone slipped me something. I was informed I had drugs in my system that is known to cause wolves to get extremely hot and bothered. It makes them act like I did."

Ryan asked, "how come we have not seen any medical report about drugs being in your system?"

Ryan turns to the council, "council, I would like to have these reports presented to me. This way I can have it examined by experts. Then recall him after the evidence is presented. Please excuse him from the room until then."

Councilmen Carrol, "Shane , you have until end of day to present these reports to Ryan and us. If these reports had been submitted at the start of trial many would not be frowning at your client." He then turned toward Ryan. "In light of this new evidence I am giving you Ryan has until 9am Monday to investigate this claim. Dismissed until 9am Monday."

Ryan turns to council, "I would like to request that Alpha Jace be placed in holding area on Monday. This way if I come up with witnesses I can present them. Then call him in afterwards for rebuttals."

Shane shouts out, "I object."

Ryan continues, "if I cannot find witnesses then he can be called in from the holding area, but I do then they can answer the questions. I also want Dr Cassie recalled back to testify about this test."

Councilman Carrol, "this seems reasonable. objection over ruled. Ryan you are to present your list of witnesses to us at 8:00 on Monday you will have then in hall A holding cells at 8:00. Then Shane your client is to report to hall D holding cells at 8:30. All lawyers be here by 9:00 to see whom we will call in to testify."

I smile. I know my paperwork is in order and Cameron and I walk out smiling. Our plan is working great. It will be Shane whom will be surprised. This morning at breakfast I had 'A' tell a new witness approached him. He had proof that Jace's story would be false when he testified today. That I need to come up with a way to get new witnesses added to the trial.

RYAN'S POV

I grabs my phone as I walks out of the council room making a phone call. "Ok I got a way to get new witnesses added."

'A' replied, "Great. This guy who approached us has damming proof. We are trying to gather up a couple other witnesses but they will be hostile. We might even have to strike a deal to make them testify."

I replied, "bring them in. Keep them separated and they need to be in holding cells A before 8am Monday."

"I will tell the men to have them there then."

"Bring them in separately. I don't want them to know about each other. See you Monday. I will be at the entrance at 7:30. I want to talk and make any deal with the hostile witnesses. Call me when you have them."

MONDAY MORNING 7:30am

I see an Elite member 'He bringing in one person. 'H' says, "Good morning. This is the private investigator Graham Tracy. He brought everything he found from his investigation he did."

"Place him in Room 1 and set up what he will need for his presentation. Make sure the Smith brothers don't see him or smell him." 'H' guides him into room 1 and closes the door.  I quickly spray the hall with scent-be-gone.

A few minutes later I look up, "good morning Levi. Are you ready to testify?"

He looks around, "you sure he won't know it was me?"

"You are listed as Mr. Smith and after you testify you will be given your new identity and sent to a new location. He won't know it was you until after you are already gone. Now go into room 2 and wait until your called to testify. If you recant you're statement you gave me over the weekend then your new identity also disappears. Be honest and you will be disappear." He walk into holding cell 2. Then I spray the hall again.

Then the third person appears two minutes before 8. "Cutting it close are we?"

"I am here. Let's get this over with.

"Take him to Room 3. Remember be honest or the immunity for you and your brother disappears."

I then at 8am hand my list of new witnesses to the council bailiff. Then I walk into Room 1 to talk with this witness since I had not spoken to him before.

9:00 I am report to the council room.

Councilman Carrol, "these witnesses have been approved to testify.

Shane says, "I do object to the two Mr. Smiths not using real names."

Ryan speaks up, "we have given the council their real names but since they are under protective custody and both are hostile witnesses. We use protective program to get them here. If they tell the truth they will be shipped away with a new identity. If they lie and remain hostile they get nothing."

Shane sneers, "you are insinuating my client would harm them and thus far has done nothing, but show up to testify for this farce trial."

Ryan replies, "the witnesses stated they were in fear because of your client's mate pack past actions. They never mentioned your client being the one they fear. I myself do not know who they will point out since I have not shown them any of the photos. If was an Elite member who came up with various photos. If your client is innocent then they won't point him out."

Councilman Carrol, "objection is overused and we will say with prejudice on defense Bluemoon's  side. Before you call in your first witness. We will have Doctor Cassie come in and verify this report for the records."

Cassie came in and she verified that the doctor note did show Jace has been given a roofie known as mater capes."

"Our first witness is a private investigator whom contacted the Elite Force last week and I did not meet until this morning. Please bring in Graham Tracy."

He walks in and sits down. "Mr. Tracy can you please inform the council how you got involved with this case? Why you did not come forth earlier?"

"I got back from vacation last week and saw the news paper. When I read the paper it bothered me. This one guys face looked familiar. I looked through my photos from cases before I went on vacation. I found the photos and then videos with him in them. I had not really listened to them since it did not have my client at the time interest. I just kept my camera rolling just in case whom I was looking for showed up."

"Please bailiff pull out a list of men's photo that an Elite member put together. I myself have not seen this list. the bailiff sets the photo down in front of Mr. Tracy. "Is the person you saw in this photo?"

Mr Tracy looks at the photo. "It was #5 that I recognized from the surveillance I was doing for a client about 3-4 months ago. Then the video I happen to get," says Graham. "I just did not realize what I had or I would of turned it over back then. It did not pertain to my case, so I wasn't paying attention to it."

He presses play and you see a couple of transactions. Then you see Jace walking up to the dealer, "I know in the past I had you give me mate scent blocker, but today I want something that will turn me on to someone. I want two of those pills. One for her and one for me that will make me have a strong erection that will last for hours and make us want to become mates even if not mates."

"I don't have that on me now, but I can get them for you. Want me to call you and meet up once they come in? It cost $3k a pill."

"If I have before the weekend I will give you double your fee."

"Ok man. But let me warn you if your true mate shows up it can make you violent toward her, but toward your chosen mate- make you claim her with wild passion."

"I was told my true mate hasn't been to the past couple parties and did not RSVP to this one. Her brothers have RSVP though. I am choosing a mate whose family power is strong and has no male heirs. She has agreed to our coupling. She wants Alpha pups and she said her mate is only a beta. We are doing the public claiming this weekend. Then afterwards you will have a permanent supply line set up."

"Did not realize you knew your mate."

"I have smelt her on her siblings. Which is why I been taking the block so it won't get back to her. She is a strong wolf, but I want an Alpha mate and she only comes from beta line. Tell you what I will sell her name to you after my mating is complete. I know some would like having a beta mate."

"Will hold you to it." Then a whistle is made. "Gotta go my spotter's gave a warning." Then walks off.

The council and Ryan look shocked as Graham turns off the video. She turns toward Cameron, "your client knew about the affects of that drug and still took it. He knew Mackenzie had a Beta mate. Did he know the beta was his brother since he did not name him in this video? He just wasn't expecting his mate to be there."

Shane replies, "the video only shows he talked about it. It does not show he went through with it. Plus the spike drink came from her brothers."

Shane looks over at Graham  "do you know if my client ever got those pills?"

"No, but I"

Shane interrupts, "so you don't know. Plus we don't know if you recorded this or hired an actor who is made to look like Jace."

"I have a reputation for my integrity despite my line of work.  I did not or would I ever hire actors for such a thing."

Ryan growls at Shane, "no more questions for this witness. I want to call in Mr Levi Smith."

Shane says, "no more questions at this time."

Graham leaves and then Levi walks in. He is recognized as the sellar from the video. Ryan looks at Levi, "have a seat Levi." Then she looks at council, "he is here as a hostile witness, but agreed to testify for immunity and protection for him and his brother." She then turns to Levi. "I want you to look at these photos and tell us whom have you dealt with as a seller and client."

He looks at the photo and replies, "if it wasn't for keeping my brother safe I would not be here. There are two people on here I have as clients, but only one affects this case." He points to two different photos.

Ryan replies, "I need you to identify them and explain how the one affects this case."

"It is 5 and 15. 15 is not a wolf. He is a vampire and has nothing to do with this case. 5 is Jace. We been friends since we were here pups. Then later he became a client. I sold him 2 mater caps."

Ryan asked, "what are mater caps?"

"They are pills that two wolves who are not true mates take. It will make them not want to mate with their true mate, but makes them go wild for a different wolf. Then will lead to them claiming and mating someone else."

Ryan ask, "what happens if they come across their true mate?"

"The mater cap will make them feel repulse by them and yet still drawn to them. It usually ends up in a violent connection but the one who took the pill won't want to mark their true mate. We recommend they take Sens-No so their true mate will not smell their senses, but since she wasn't gonna be there Jace did not get any of them. So if she had RSVP he would of gotten the Sens-No. so it's her fault for not following the RSVP directions."

Ryan says, "no it was your client's fault for just checking for her name. She was listed under the Alpha's name since he was the one officially escorting her." She pulls out the list from her file.
"You disgust me. But look here. Whose name is listed here?"

He glances down and sees Ashley's name listed under the Alpha's name. "No more questions for him. I want to have my next witness brought in."
Levi walks out and the spotter confirmed the story.

Then Ryan says, "I want to bring Jace back in and want him to watch the video."

Shane replies, "I am not having him come in. They said his mate has gone into labor and trying to stop the contractions. I just linked him. He will plead guilty and await sentence."
