Chapter Five: Meeting Again
CHAPTER FIVE:
MEETING AGAIN
I wore my yoga pants and a purple sports bra. I tied my hair in a messy ponytail and wore my sneakers.
"Ready, sis?" I heard Mark, who was waiting for me to get ready for my training, ask.
I nodded, even if I knew he couldn't see me. "Yeah."
I walked out of the changing room in the training centre and walked over to Mark. I kept repeating the three rules he gave me this morning:
1. Don't feel any emotional attachments.
2. Watch his every move carefully.
3. Kick his ass in the most unique way you can. Try to find the move that makes you strong and that none other than you can do.
"Okay everyone!" Mark called out as he clapped his hands. "I want everyone to run 20 laps in human form. After the run, you get 5 minutes break and we go to the training of defense and kicking asses. Now get your lazy asses up and start running!" he went into full beta mode.
I smiled at myself when I heard we're running. I seriously love running. I started with my first lap and within no time I was down at my last, still not tired. Mark and I made a habit of running years ago. We would run around our packhouse every day. It brought us closer and made us the way we are today.
I saw the others panting and sweating like crazy and looked at myself. I was sweating and panting too, but that was all the things I enjoyed. There was a different sense of accomplishment buried within all this training.
"Okay, your five minutes are over. Now get your ass over here!" he pointed to the yellow line. We obeyed and walked to the yellow line.
"Okay, now I'm going to make you guys pick your trainer. We have enough warriors here, enough for all of you, so go pick your trainer. Now. You have thirty seconds!"
The girls jogged over to their trainers and you could guess mine.
Mark.
I always chose him as my trainer. Duh.
"Okay now, sis. Lemme see your moves," he smirked, making me smirk. Wanting a challenge, I see.
Rule 1. No emotional attachments, I chanted in my head.
We walked around in circles till he tried to lunged at me. But me being smarter than him, moved aside, letting him fall right on his face.
He stood up, and I jumped and kicked him in his stomach, making him fall backwards. I jumped and sat on his belly, trying to punch him in his face, but he dodged every fist.
He threw me against the wall and quickly stood up. I jumped into defense mode and lunged at him this time. He pinned me against the floor and tried to punch me like I did, but me being his baby sister, I copied his ninja skills.
I smirked at him and pushed him off me with my knees, with all my strength, against the wall. I tried to punch again, but he caught my fist and pinned me against the wall with my hands against my back. Damn Beta strength.
"You're actually getting pretty good at this," I felt him chuckle.
I bent down and quickly turned around carefully not to hurt myself and stood up again. We were now in a position where it looked like we were dancing. And then, I got an idea.
I hummed a song and Mark was looking at me confused. I smirked at him. He should have known that music is my strength and that I can and will use it as a distraction.
I hummed my favorite song, Forever and Always, and acted as if I was dancing on the song, only with punches and kicks on places where he least expected.
Another rule added: 4. Always do the unexpected.
At the last chronic of the song, I turned 360 degrees and kicked him in the face. He groaned in pain as he held onto his face, looking at my smirking self.
I realized that I just beat the best pack warrior, the Beta AND my brother! I kneeled in front of him and kissed his cheek, "Looks like you owe me some pizza, dear brother."
*_*_*
"Girl, how come you fight so good?" Skylar asked me. To be honest, even I don't know.
I just shrugged and continued eating my pizza.
"That's what I've been asking myself, she never got trained before!" Mark looked confused at me.
"What?" I asked with a mouth full of pizza, pulling my headphones out of my ear. Believe me you wouldn't like it if someone looked at you while you eat.
"How do you fight so well?" Mark asked seriously.
I shrugged and then frowned. How do I fight so good? I probably beat the best warrior of the pack, my brother. It was my first time training to fight against someone, so even I was confused by my skills.
"And those... Those moves.. I've never seen someone dancing and fighting before." Mark frowned.
"Dancing?" Skylar raised an eyebrow.
"And humming." Mark added.
"Humming?" I asked. "Oh yeah, I was humming my favorite song!" I grinned.
Mark and Sky looked flatly at me, "Are you serious? Humming your favorite song? You beat the crap out of your brother while humming your freaking favorite song!"
I smiled sheepishly, "Did I do something wrong?"
Skylar scoffed, "No you didn't! What you did was so damn awesome!" He shrieked, making Mark glare at him.
"Well whatever, I just want to know where you got those moves from." Mark said.
"I don't know. I was just humming my favorite song and I was looking at you like the enemy. After that I just did like I was dancing. I didn't think I would beat you. But hey, I got pizza!" I held up a piece of pizza, before shoving it into my mouth.
Mark and Sky chuckled, "Now lets go home. You have to get ready."
"Right."
To be honest, I really don't want to go to the party, but I have to because I promised my hell of a brother that I would go.
"Stella and I will be there too, but please, be careful." Skylar made me promise.
"I'll be careful. I promise."

"Girl, you look so damn hot!" Sophia ran and hugged me. I giggled and hugged her back.
I was wearing a black strapless dress, which was till mid thigh and my black high stilettos. I did some smokey eyes and put on blood red lipstick. I straightened my hair and just left it like that.
"Girl, no doubt in that!" Skylar added, making Mark slap the back of his head.
"Whatever." I shrugged them off.
We walked to Stacy to wish her a happy birthday. Mark hugged her and kissed her full on her lips. I turned around and saw Skylar and Stella doing the same. My wolf whimpered in pain. I walked to the bar and asked for some vodka. It takes me just a few to get drunk when I finally drink, because I don't drink much.
"You can ask me anything you want," the bartender winked at me in flirty way.
I scoffed at him, "Yeah, I'll ask for your death soon,” I clenched my jaw. He shot me a disgusted look before turning around and helping others.
I drank the vodka in one gulp. I felt my throat burning, but I didn't care since it felt good to feel a little bit numb. It had only been half cup and I felt a little, tiny bit drunk. Sophia dragged me to the dance floor and we started dancing like crazy.
Suddenly Sophia disappeared somewhere. I looked around, but I saw no one. I walked back to the bar and asked for another drink.
The bartender handed me my vodka and looked at me how I drank it all in one gulp. I turned around and saw Mr. Alpha, who rejected me, making out with some blonde bitch.
I scowled and asked for another shot of vodka. He gave me another drink and again, I drank it all in one gulp.
I walked to the dance floor, because this time I was full drunk. I swayed my hips against the beat of the song, but stopped when I felt someone's hand on my hip. I turned around and saw a drop dead gorgeous guy. He had dark brown hair that looked as if someone ruffled it constantly, I couldn't see the color of his eyes, but I knew that they were fierce because of the way I felt his gaze upon me. His perfect lips carved a beautiful smile, but he was nowhere better than Alec.
I stopped.
Why the hell am I even comparing him with Alec?
He started grinding against me and I did the same, but stopped when I heard a loud growl. My head snapped towards the guy, "Sorry, I can't do this."
I walked away —away from my mate. I walked into the parking lot and just stood there. I felt defeated, as if I had no purpose in life. I was here to have fun, but instead I grieved, grieved as if I had lost myself. I felt so hopeless, my heart clenched. I held onto my upper arms and lowered to the ground.
I felt a drop of water hit my nose and I looked up at the sky covered with grey clouds. There was no glinting star in sight. Before I could even blink, the rain started pouring and I felt as if I were in some kind of cheesy movie with sad background music.
"What were you doing in there?" I heard an awfully familiar voice say.
That was the only thing missing. My sad cheesy movie is now complete.
I didn't say anything. I just kept on crying and sobbing. "I. Asked. You. Something." he growled.
I swear, I was fucking angry right now. I bet my face was as red as a tomato. My wolf growled in anger. I could feel she wanted to take over, but I somehow managed to calm her down, but that didn't mean my anger faded.
I stood up and turned around facing the bitch the Moon Goddess gave me as a mate.
"You have no right to demand anything from me like that! Even if you're the Alpha now. What do you want? You don't have any right to ask me what I was doing in there! It's my problem I was grinding against that guy, not yours! Its my problem you fucking rejected me, not yours! Now go back to that blonde, whose face you were sucking earlier and leave me the fuck alone, fucking asshole!"
I walked away without even sparing him a gaze. I'm sure he was shocked with my sudden outburst, but I didn't care. I felt relieved, in fact. Confronting him and telling him that I don't need him was the best thing that happened to me tonight and I was proud of myself for it.
I walked into the woods and shifted midair in my wolf, shredding all my clothes. I didn't know how I was going to do later on, but all I knew was that I needed a run to calm myself down.
A run was all I needed.
