Amanda's POV

There alive......how?

"How is this possible?" I asked the council member he was a replacement for Adam.

"We didn't kill them well not exactly. Alpha Richards was there executor and he did just that. But when we were to dispose there bodies there were no where to be found only the reapers curse"

"But how? I mean it's been twelve years and nothing no sign no note-" the note! The one that my parents wrote for me. The same one that Cole has.

"I know it may take a while to a just and-"

"Who else knows?"

"Only the council" that means Adam knew his whole time. That bastard!

"I need you to leave" I told him finally looking him straight in the eye. We were in my living room discussing my parents since the party was too public.

"Of course I'll be on my way" once he was gone I sighed depressed. My parents are alive well there's a chance they are what if this is true our at least someone other than my brothers are alive. Maybe that would make my life less lonely.

I was about to head upstairs when my phone rang. Who could it be at the hour.

"Hello?"

"Satan's Spawn how nice to speak to you again. It's been so long as year to be exact. How's life treating you I hope not too bad" Who is this.

"Who is this?" I asked the voice laughed.

"That's not important right now. How's your nephew he's quite the charmer don't you think. Say hi to auntie" I heard a baby's giggle in the background then it's said the one word that made me freeze "Panda".

"What are you doing to do to him?"

"Nothing...yet. If you want him to live you have to do something for me. Find the girl"

"What girl?"

"Ava" but she's dead isn't she.

"She dead I can't do that" he laughed.

"Your a reaper make that the most important reaper in the world you can bring back more than a hundred souls at once don't tell me you can't bring back a little girl"

"I can't"

"Well then your nephew dies"

"Wait!"

"Yes"

"I'll try just please don't hurt him" I whispered.

"That's what I'd like to hear. We'll keep in touch" he hung up the phone I could almost see the smirk on his face. What am I going to do they have Haden. Why did I save him? I'm not to go near him. He's family right yeah its because he's family.

"Miss Black your have a meeting in an hour" I sighed I'll think about how to save my nephew later.

"I'm coming" getting of the couch I made my way to my room and locked the door cautiosly. I have the note for last time I just don't know what to do. I'm risking the safety of my family I can't let that happen...I...I'm so confused.

I took a shower and dried my hair with the towel. Ava. I swore to protect her but I was too busy with my own problems I didn't see when they snatched her from me.

I slipped on my white tank top. My brothers. The ones who abused me for years now they come back saying they care. How am I supposed to to feel about that. There my family and we need to stick together but where were they when I needed them.

Fixing my jacket I brushed my hair and put it in a bun. My aunt Natalie. The one who truly cared for me made me what I am today is dead. Just because some phsyco decided that was the best way to get to me. They killed her....my family.

"We need to go" I took up my bag and walked out smiling when I say Lucas standing there. He was my assistant don't worry he's gay his husband is a good friend of mine.

"You okay?"

"I'm fine but can you drive I'm a little lightheaded" he nodded then I handed him the keys. We walked downstairs towards the car in peace. I got in the passenger seat while he got in the driver's seat.

"Are you sure your fine?"

"Yeah I'm a hundred percent sure" No I'm not. Why do I keep lying to people telling them I'm okay. I'm not I scared confused my life is a disaster an no one knows. I can't talk to my family because there scared of me.

"And your thoughts Amanda?" I looked up and smiled.

"I think it's a great idea. Working together on a project would help both companies" he smiled.

"Then it's settled then we start next week" I sighed in relief as the filed out of my office. It's been hours and we're getting ready to leave.

"Lucas call Conner please and Miss Carpenter I need to have a word wih them" he nodded then set out to get them. Soon enough all three walked back into my office.

"That will be all for today Lucas go home and enjoy the rest of your night" he nodded and walked out smiling. I don't normally let them off early.

"You called Miss Black"

"The two of you have not submitted your weekly design neither have you completed the paper work I sent you. Now tell me with this decline in your work attitude it's not wise to pay you when you aren't working" I looked at them plainly.

"I'm sorry I'll get right to that"

"No need you won't be needed anymore" I said.

"I don't understand what your saying"

"Your fired" I stated leaning back in my chair.

"What! Why"

"You tell me. How is your husband? He wouldn't take it well if he found out your having an affair with our dear Conner here. No not at all" her eyes widened.

"How did you find out"

"How do you think Samuel got fired he was having an affiar. And I can't have that now can I. If your not entirely focused on the task at hand then there's no reason to pay you"

"Please reconsider-"

"I said your fired! Leave my office our I will call security and let them show you the door both out you out! You disgust me" she hung her head down in shame. I would too.

Tyler POV

"Where is she?!"

"Calm down that's the third rouge today. There not going to break that's a fact. They seem to fear her more than you"

"How?" I don't understand I'm an Alpha there supposed to bow down to me.

"I don't know. Maybe she's come kind of queen to them" Yeah right.

"I'm not sure?" I mumbled taking a sip of my coffee.

"We've been loss everywhere are you sure she even exists?" He asked.

"She's my mate of course she exists" 

"Whatever" I didn't listen to him I just payed attention to the broken down television in the room something on it seemed very intresting.

"And Amanda Black one of the richest teens today if not the richest teen, has been taking the stress of running a business quite fine. After the death of her parents and aunt it's a wonder she's still pressing forward today. Reporters lucky enough to get a quick chat with the business woman were please when she said these words" she paused looking down at her phone. It's Amanda I found her.

"I have to be strong for those around me. It's time for me to grow up but sometimes I wish it didn't happen so fast'. Touching it is truly sad to hear her story but it seems our little Panda train isn't stopping anytime soon" I stood up with my duffel bag thrown over my shoulder.

"Where are you going?" He asked.

"We found her"
