ANGELOS POV

When she was breathing slow and her heart beat was steady I walked out of the dark corner, I walked up to her bed and stared at her while she slept wishing I could hold her in my arms. Wishing that I could lay down next to her and hold her in my arms while she lays down on me with her head on my chest, as I continue to look at her sleeping I see her turn towards me and I kneel in front of her and start to stroke her hair and with out knowing she leans into my hand allowing me to feel her cheek on the palm of my hand. As I leaned in to give her a kiss there is a knock on the door of her bedroom and I rush to the dark corner, after the third knock she wakes up and goes to open the door while putting on her robe.

"What is it Nate" she asked

"There is a man at the pack house asking to see you" Nate says

"Did he say his name" she asked

"He said that his name is Mateo and that he used to work with you at a dinner" Nate said

"Where is Espy and my family" she asked

"Your family are in their rooms and Espy is in her room, why" Nate asked

"Get all the boys up and get them in the living room while I change" she said

"Okay" Nate said

"Wait where is Angelo" she asked

"Nobody has seen him since I went to take a walk with Alex" Nate said

"Okay tell Gabe to try and mind link him now" she said

"Why, what is going on" Nate asked

"The guy that is saying to be Mateo cant be Mateo, Mateo died at the dinner after the rouge attack and then his mate killed herself after she gave all my information so I could be put down as Esperanza's mom" she said

"What are you saying Gabs" Nate asked

"That the guy at the pack house is an imposter" she said

Nate left and Gaby changed quickly into something more un revealing before she left the room, I take this opportunity to jump out her window and run towards the tree line so everybody would think that I had gone out for a run when Gabe mind links me saying that Gaby wants all of the men in the living room ASAP.

I walked into the house pretending to still be upset about Nate and Gaby kissing, when I get to the living room Gaby is walking back and forth in the small space.

"What is it" I asked trying to sound upset

"Gaby what is it" her dad asked

"There is a man at the pack house saying he is someone that died years ago and I'm afraid that who ever it is they are here to try and take Espy away from me, I need all of you to stay here and protect her and not let anyone come in this house or any where near her" Gaby said

"I'm going with you" I said taking a step towards her

"No I got to go by myself" she says

"Gaby let him go with you, he is an alpha and he could help you" Nate said

"Fine lets go" Gaby says

We walk to the pack house and there were about three cars parked in front of the pack house, we walk in to the pack house and Gaby right away stops in front of me while shaking her head side to side. I get next to her and place one of my hands on her lower back and the other one on her face making her see me as we make eye contact I could see a lot of emotions going through her all at ones. She then turned to look at the man that was now standing in front of us, I take a step forwards allowing my alpha power to be felt which makes the man take a few steps back and start to look from me to Gaby.

"Hello Gabriela, how are you" the man said

"Your dead, I saw your body before they cremated you and Trisha" Gaby said

"No Gaby I was alive they made a mistake" the man said

"How could they make a mistake, I saw how they placed your body and Trisha's body in the furnace to cremate you both" Gaby said

"You were dreaming Gaby" the man said

"No I was not I was there during the whole cremation, you are not Mateo so tell me who you really are" Gaby said

"Its me Mateo, ask me anything that only Mateo would know" the man said

"When did I have my daughter" Gaby asked

"Almost four years ago" the man said

"Wrong answer" Gaby said

At that moment Gaby grabbed him by the throat which made all the other men that were with him start to get near to Gaby only for me to take several steps forward and at the same time several wolves came out of no where and surrounded the men, Gaby looked at the man straight in the eyes and asked him who he really was because she knew that he wasn't Mateo. The guy just kept looking at Gaby but doesn't say anything to what causes Gaby to get mad and with out a second thought she breaks the man's neck, she then turns to look at the other men that were with the guy that is now on the floor. She walks over to the men that is on the floor and then looks at them and asked what they are really doing here but before they even answer we hear a loud howl which makes Gaby and me run towards to her house with the alpha, her uncle and a few fighters but when we get there we see the house on fire and about ten rouges around the house.

Gaby makes a single hand movement and the flames were turned off which makes the rouges turn around only to see a very pissed off Gaby, without a single sign she waves her hand and we hear all their necks crack at ones and then we see everybody running out of the house and Gaby runs to her mother who has Espy and she takes her from her mother and I walk up to her and wrap both of them in my arms as Gaby holds her near her chest which calms Espy right away while I start to kiss her head and telling her that everything will be okay and that she is safe now.
