Samantha's POV

I frowned on what the doctor said. It can't be what do I tell Marcus he always said he wasn't ready for this but....I don't know what to do.

"Would you like me to tell Beta Marcus?" He asked.

"No! I mean no need for that I'll tell him.....eventually " he eyed me suspiciously. How am I going to train the pack now.

"Right. But the sooner the better" I nodded know that would be wise. Why did he have to be a beta he'll find out sooner. I mean what am I going to to tell Amanda I bet her and Tyler are having a wonderful time.

"Are you sure you don't want me to tell him" I nodded then said goodbye and walked out thinking of ways to give Marcus the news.

I walked into our room but was shocked to see Marcus and Nicholas playing video games. I rolled my eyes and sat down watching them. Marcus won with meant he was going to brag.

"In your face! Who's the best I am. That's right I'm the- Samantha?" I smiled sheepishly.

"I'll be going now Joshua's calling me" Nicholas sliped out of the room. Darn it!

"Whats wrong?" Marcus asked worried.

"I have something to tell you" I patted the space beside me once I felt the bed dip in knew he was seated.

"I'm.....pregnant" I blurted out waiting for an reaction.

"Your what?"

"I'm pregnant meaning your going to be a father" he took a minute to analyze this then yelled.

"I'm going to be a father! Do you know what this means?"

"No cursing around that bady"

"Yes but it also means we're going to be parents" I nodded and looked him then leaned in smiling when our lips met.

Amanda's POV

"I need your help" kidnapper and torturer say what.......

"I'm sorry I didn't here that right you need my help" he nodded.

"And why should we help you.....you lime green tomato" No cursing in the office. That made no sense.

"Lime green tomato? Pushing that aside I do need your help. Liam has my mate" he stated. Didn't know you had one.

"Don't care" Nova and I said at the same time.

"Please I need your help your the one person in the world that can get in and out without being seen or killed " That's true.

"And why should I help you?" He's the same one who nearly killed me.

"I also know where the girls are"

"That's all I wanted to here. Come on let's go" we looked at each other and nodded. Seems like I'm going to end this misson sooner than I thought.

"Why are we back here you should be going to find my mate!" Shawn yelled at me I growled pointing my gun at him.

"We need a plan. I can't go in there risking my like for anyone your lucky I agreed to help you" How dare he.

"Look I'm sorry but my mate is in there what am I supposed to do" he argued I know if it was Tyler in there I wouldn't care.

"I can't go in there without a plan. I need to study them get to know there routines what happens when there's a problem I can't go in there empty handed. They have silver bullets for crying out loud" silver and kill me if too much gets in my blood stream.

"Fine so what do we go?" He asked.

"We wait" I stated then watched a guard who was looking all over the place like he was nervous about something.

"Hey look at that guy over there" I pointed to the guard. Then it hit me. He's a spy meaning our cover might be blown. Might.

"Why is he acting like that" if I knew I would tell you. I didn't reply to his question I just watched the guard until he started shaking uncontrollably.

I kept watching he then started to leak blood from his eyes, ear and nose. It's just like that girl from the party. They drugged him with the breath of pleasure.

"Shawn we need to leave the air is toxic" he didn't answer. I looked at him closely then realized he was also bleeding. Great. I took out my breathing mask put it on then placed my sign over it.

"This is why I work alone" I mumbled taking another mask out of my bag and putting it on Shawn. I gave him CPR and soon he was breathing again not okay but breathing.

"What happened?" He asked looking around worried.

"You were poisoned by the breath of pleasure. Now come with me it's seems that I have to work on this alone" he seemed shocked.

"My mate is in there!" he yelled.

"And I don't care! I'm my own person I don't have to listen to you I'm your superior" I yelled back.

"How could you be so selfish. If it was your mate in there you wouldn't hesitate" he said. I began to think this over. If Tyler was in there would I care. I don't know.

"I....I...I have to go" and with that I left him there. Would I really care if Tyler was in there. No I wouldn't that man whore......is my mate I should care but I don't. Or do I.

I walked along the far stretch path no knowing where it leads. Do I care about Tyler even in the slightest. Yes. But am I willing to sacrifice my self to for him. Yes. But he isn't willing to do it for me. I can't believe this. Am...I falling for the guy........I don't even know. But maybe I am.

Samantha POV

"Why so soon?" I asked my mate.

"I want be with you before the baby comes" I nodded he was right the bady will come sooner than later.

"Okay we have one week let's make the best of it. Nicholas and Katelyn will go with you to sort the invitations and find a dress I have duties to attend" he kissed my forehead and smiled.

"I love you" he whispered.

"I love you too" I whispered back.

"This is beautiful! I would totally rock this outfit" Katelyn said holding up a light blue gown.

"No. The colour scheme is white and red wih hints of pink no blue okay" I said sternly.

"It's the mood swings" Nicholas whispered to her.

"Yup definitely" she whispered back.

"I can here you" I said making my presence known. I sighed sitting down on the couch in Centre of the store.

"Relax Sam. It can't be that bad" I know that accent....Carlos.

"Carlos!" I screamed running up to him.

"Take time. The bady" How did he know about that.

"You were spying on me" I accused he put his hands up in surrender.

"I wasn't but he was" he said pointing to a very muscular man standing at the door. I looked closer to see my father standing there.

"Daddy!" I screeched hugging my father. He finally came back from that misson.

"I'm back baby girl" I squeezed him even tighter than before. He's back. Finally I thought I lost you.

"I thought you were gone" he shook his head.

"No. But I come back to see my daughter getting married and pregnant" I blushed.

"You completed your misson" I changed the subject his face fell.

"Sadly no. It was discontinued seeing the council sent someone else. They said they would get the job done faster seeing they had more experience with the substance" Amanda. The council sent her. She took the job for me.

"That's nice to know" he laughed at me.

"You were scared"

"Of course your not as good as you were back in the day" he chuckled but nodded.

"I retired now. So no need to worry" Thank you Amanda I owe you one.
