Chapter 4

"Waky waky sleeping beauty."

"Ugh, Josh what time is it?"

"It a little past 8am sis."

"WHAT? Why did you let me sleep in so late?

"Your uncle told me to let you sleep in since you will have a hard and long day today. He wanted to make sure you were rested when you finally meet your parents. We couldn't have sleeping beauty wake up with baggy eyes now could we?"

He gave me his famous smile, The one he uses when he is up to something. The little shit.

"What are you up to Josh? What do you know that I don't?"

I got out of bed and picked out the nicest set of clothes I have. They weren't really nice, but it's all I had since I was a servant. Handed down blue jeans with holes and a worn out black shirt that was way to big on me.

"I have no idea what your talking about Gab. I've been in this bed with you the whole time and couldn't possible know anything that you don't already know."

"Oh shut it Josh. I know you know something so spill it." I wasn't pissed at all even if my hands were on my hips. Josh knew this, he knew me too well. The fact that I had a big smile on my face didn't help either.

"You will just have to find out so get your big butt in the shower and change so we can go meet your family and my new Alpha. Plus we might just get to go shopping for new clothes. I think your mom might have a heart attack when she finds out that you only have three sets of clothes and they are all hand me downs."

Stomping my foot I went to take a shower. He defiantly knew something good. Stupid boy.

After taking a nice and hot shower, I brush my hair, teeth and throw on a set of clothes. The three sets aren't really something you would wear to meet a Alpha but its all I had so its gonna have to do. Plus I don't think my parents will really care until later.

Taking a deep breath I open my door to find Joshua leaning against the opposite wall messing with his hands.

"Hey"

I guess he was in deep thought because he jumped sky high.

"Shit Gab, you scared the crab out of me. I could have had a heart attack."

Rolling my eyes." Ya like a werewolf can have a heart attack stupid. Now lets get the show on the road before I chicken out and run for the hills."

"Yes ma'am, If you want you can hold my hand?"

Not really sure on what to do I grab his hand and walk towards the stairs. Right before we turn the corner to take the first step I stop. Taking in a deep breath to calm my crazy nerves.

"You can do this Gab, I know that your shy when you first meet people. To me though your a open book and I love you for it, so will your parents. Give them a chance to get to know you again. You might just like them in the end." The smile he gave me was a reassuring one.

"OK, well...umm.. lets just do it ok. On three OK? 1...2...3... "We took that last turn and started to walk down the stairs. I couldn't make myself look up, if I didn't and saw them I would probably trip and fall I was that nerves. My hands were sweaty and if I fell I don't think my hand would stay in Joshua's hand.

Taking that last step, we stop for a couple of minutes. Finally looking up I come face to face with the most beautiful couple I've ever seen. The women looks a like she could be my twin but older and the man, well he was tall and very well built. He had blue eyes, black short hair and a smile to match his wife.

They didn't say anything first, I guess they didn't want to scare me and so it was up to me to speak.

"I'm guessing your my parents?"

"Yes, we are Gaby. Do you remember us at all? Our names or anything?" My dads voice was soft but firm. It held a wave of comfort and safety.

"Yes, my father's name is Bradley and my mother's name is Aurora, but I could never say it so I called her, well you Rori." I may have forgotten what they looked like but those names were always branded into my head.

My mother looked like she wanted to in case me in her warm arms, but was still scared I would freak out. They were trying to take this as slow as possible not trying to push me away when they just now got me back.

I didn't want them to take it slow though, I made my mind up and wanted to get to know them as best as I could and that would mean being my normal self. The one who took charge and did what she wanted instead of the shy timid girl that everyone saw.

I was still holding Joshua's hand and when I looked at him and gave him my happy smile I heard a low growl. Not understanding why my family would growl at me I turn back to face them. But it wasn't them who caught my attention.

It was the guy standing slightly behind them, I didn't see him at first that's why I didn't know who he was. He had the most striking green eyes. His face looked like it was chiseled for a god. My eyes moved with out my consent, going down his hard chest and legs. I was taking every part of him in, how his stance was, how built his body looked even with his nice clothes on. If my hand wasn't in Joshua's I probably would have jumped him. That's how he looked, I bet he is a underwear model. What I wouldn't give to see him in his underwear.

OMG IS IT HOT IN HERE OR WHAT? HE IS LIKE TO DIE FOR CAN I KEEP HIM?

"Gaby? If you wouldn't mind keeping those thoughts and feelings out of my head I would love it." Turning my head to Joshua I forgot that I had left my barrier down so he knew how I felt. We do it all the time.

Blushing like a tomato, I give him a little shove." Well if you don't want to know what I'm thinking about my mate then you should stay out of my mind." I turned back to my parents and this man; my mate. "Yes, I know your my mate. It does help that my wolf is howling in pleasure to be near you again. I guess she has missed you. I on the other hand don't remember you at all. I'm sorry if that hurts you but I don't want to start this off with any pretenses."

Everyone in the room was looking between the two of us. "I'm guessing you already knew that I was his mate didn't you dad?

You could tell that he was happy by me calling him dad. His smile blew up even more if that was possible. "Yes, we have known you two were mates since you guys were ten. He even tired to mark you as his back then. We didn't want to rush you two so he was told he had to wait until you knew what was really happening. After you were taken, we all wished that he would have marked you because then we would have found you with in a month." His smile disappeared and it broke my heart to see them in such pain.

"Well I'm glad that Uncle found me because now we can be a family again." Letting go of Joshua's hand I run to my parents and throwing my self into my daddy's arms. He held me so tight I thought I was going to pass out. "Daddy your pushing the life out of me." I giggled so he knew he didn't hurt me.

"I'm just so happy we finally have you back baby girl. We have missed you so much you have no idea." My mom was standing next to me waiting for her hug. I grabbed her hand bring her into me for a big group hug. I felt safe in their arms. A feeling I haven't felt in so long that I didn't want to let go of them.

"Daddy I know we have a lot to talk about and some day i might get to the point of telling you everything that went on, but in the mean time my best friend Joshua knows it all. Knowing him, he will have no problem telling you everything." I took a deep breath. I knew that Uncle said that Joshua could come with us, but I still felt like I had to get permission from my dad."Daddy? Umm...I know Uncle told me that Joshua can come back with us but I wanted to make sure that he could. He is the only person I felt safe with here and he has always been my life line. I don't know if I will be able to leave without him." Thinking to myself how funny my next thought was, I let a little laugh slip my lips." If he wasn't such a big brother to me I'm pretty sure we would have been the best of mates. He gets me like no other and knows every little detail about me. If you guys ever need to know something, best bet is to ask him first. He knows things about me that I don't even know."Blushing at how that sounded out loud.

"Gab your a open book to me thats why I know everything. I bet with know time at all you will be the same way with your parents." He grabbed my hand as I stepped out of my parents warm embrace.

That low growl sounded again and this time it was threatening.

"Michael if you don't stop growling at my daughter's best friend she might just ignore you." I broke out laughing so hard that my chest hurt at the shocked face my mate Michael had pull.

Walking around my parents to my mate, I looked him in the eyes and fell in love. They were pulling me towards him, but something held me back. Looking down I saw that I was still holding Joshua's hand. My wolf didn't like that very much even though she has always been fine with it before. I think she wanted her mates hand to be entwined with ours. A little growl escaped my lips, stupid wolf. Joshua let his hand fall out of mine with a smirk on his face. He grabbed my hand on purpose that ass.

Michael didn't give me a second to think after Joshua dropped my hand because the moment he grabbed my hand I felt the most pleasurable feeling shoot through my body that I moan in pleasure as I went weak in the knees falling to the ground. Of course though Michael caught me before I could hurt myself, scouping me up bridal style. "Michael if you don't put me down and stop touching me, I don't think I will be able to hold back. My wolf is yelling at me to mark you right now and I would rather not make you ours and us yours in front of my parents if you don't mind." My mind was so foggy I couldn't think straight and I have no idea how those words actually came out of my mouth.

He set me down but didn't move away from me. Slowly my mind came back to me and I could hear laughing in the background. "My love I do believe she got that all from you." I could hear my dad tell my mom. Blushing I drop my head and pretend to find something interesting on the floor.

"Gaby please don't ever drop your head from me. I love looking at you and seeing you blush because of something I did makes my heart race. I don't want to scare you at all baby, but I've loved you for all these years and finally having you back in my arms is all I've dreamed about. I don't want you to feel the pressure of us being together. We can take it as slow as you want, but I will be here for you always. I want you Gaby and I promise you that you won't regret it if you choose to be my mate fully."

I couldn't take it anymore, those words touched my heart like nothing has before. I was flying high of the sky and my body felt like it was jello. His face showed so much love and passion but it also held hurt and pain. I wanted him to never have to feel that way again. I know that the bond was kicking in already and thats why I felt the way I did towards him already, but I didn't care. I wanted him and I think deep down I always knew about him, but my wolf kept it hidden so as not to hurt me.

I didn't care at the moment that everyone was watching us, no one mattered to me other then him. He was my mate and I wanted him now. Nothing really thinking I through myself into his arms grabbing his head between my hands and slamming my mouth down on his and let me tell you if he hadn't have had his arms wrapped around me I would have sunk to the ground in a liquid puddle. That's how good he tasted; chocolate and Carmel. My favorite tastes.

He lifted my legs up to wrap around his waist bring me closer to him. I couldn't get enough of him, his scent was killing me. He nibbled on my bottom lip asking for enterance. Granting it I moan as his taste intenseifys. I could kiss him for the rest of my life the way his tongue was pleasuring my mouth.

I wish we could have had a couple more minutes to ourselves, but a wolf had to pounce on us ripping Michael off of me and throwing him across the room.
