As they near the source, the noises get more clear. It sounded as if teo people were quarreling with eachother. They reached on the edge of the opening. They saw that Karan and Ajay were quarreling with eachother. They both quickly hide behind a bush and started listening.

Ajay- Because of you, I never got the right of being the eldest among the brothers. Because of you, Arun fell ill which worsened his mental condition. Because of you, My brother, his friends and fiancée were in danger. Because of you...

Karan- It is not my fault Ajay. The two situations which you are blaming me for, I am not responsible for that at all. It was already decided by fate. And you are still the eldest among the brothers, since 4 of the brothers consider you as their elder brother. Arun also considers you as elder brother. I just want to be friends with.

Ajay- We can never be friends. You never cared for me or my family. Why should I be friends with you?

Karan- (pained expression) I always cared for you and your family. Why do you think so negatively about me?

Ajay- You want to know right, then listen. You were never a Devlani. You are just illegitimate child of my mother from one of affairs. My father just took pity on you and gave you the surname Devlani and made you our elder brother. That's why, I never liked you and I will never like you.

Karan felt like someone had shattered his heart into thousand of pieces. One drop of tear fell from his eyes.

Arun- (coming out of his hiding place) Ajay Bhaiya, How can you say these things to Karan Bhaiya?

Ajay- Arun, You are here. No I didn't mean...

Arun- Just stop. Ajay bhaiya, I could never imagine, you had so much of hatred for Karan Bhaiya. What has he done to earn so much hatred from you?

Ajay- He tried to divide us. He tried to steal my position as the eldest among the family. He always kept mom away from us. He tried to keep you away from us. He is not also our real elder brother, Arun.

Arun- Stop it, Ajay Bhaiya. He never tried to do such thing. He always encouraged me and never stopped me from meeting you guys. He always asked mom to take good care of you. Even though he is the eldest, he always listened to what the other had to say even though they are younger to him. He never took away your right of being the eldest. He always allowed you to act as eldest.

Ajay- but HE ISN'T A DEVLANI!

Arun- HE IS! He is totally a Devlani. (Arun had tears in his eyes)

Arun went and hugged Karan. They both were in tears. This happy moment did not last long. Ajay had seen a shovel lying near a hole. He quickly picked it up and went to attack the duo.

Kajal- ARUN!

Karan pushed Arun to the side and started fighting with Ajay. Kajal also came out the hiding place and went near Arun.

Kajal- Arun, are you ok?

Arun- Yeah, I am fine. We need to stop them.

Kajal- Yeah, but how?

Arun- Let's just try to pull them apart for now.

Kajal- and if that doesn't work then.

Arun ran from there . Kajal went nearthe two brothers and tried to pull them apart. But Ajay pushed her and she fell down. Karan stopping the fight in mid way and goes near Kajal.

Kajal- Yes, I am. Please stop fighting with eachother. I beg you Ajay bhaiya, please stop the fight.

Ajay- No, I won't stop. Either he lives or I live. (goes to punch Karan on face).

Voice- STOP! WHAT ARE YOU DOING, AJAY?

Ajay stops in mid way and turns around. Priya was standing there with Arun. She quickly went near Ajay.

Ajay- Mom, you here...

Priya gives a tight slap to Ajay. He looked at his mother in shock.

Ajay- Why did you slap me mother?

Priya- Because you deserved one for hurting your elder brother.

Ajay- But he is not ONE OF US!

Priya- HE IS ONE OF US! He is the son of Vivasvat Devlani, the elder brother of Deep.

Everyone looked at her with shock in their eyes.

Priya- Yes son, you are the son of Army commander, Vivasvat Devlani. We were in relationship from college times. One day, we had consummated our relationship. Then, we asked for the permission of marriage from our families. They agreed to it. On the day of our marriage, he got a call from the army headquarters. After coming home, westarted a search for Karan. In the mean time, I got pregnant four times by Deep. In this way, you brothers were born. After years of searching, we finally found Karan and adopted him. At that time, Ajay was 5 years old, Vansh was 4 years old, Arun was 3 years old and the twins were 2 years. So, this was the entire story.

Ajay had tears in his eyes. He went near Karan and went down onhis knees.

Karan made him stand on his feets and hugged him. Priya, Kajal and Arun were happy seeing their reunion. But there was someone else, who was not happy with.

Suddenly, Jaya and Devsena came running towards them. They both were panting.

Devasena- (stammering) You all are here. We were looking for you in the entire resort.

Kajal- Breathe, now tell what happened?

Jaya- Deep uncle and your friend Yuvraj, are nowhere to be found and Dad is also missing for quiet sometime.

Kajal- What! But how is this possible?

Priya- I hope nothing happens to Deep.

Karan- let's search for them, right now,let's go everyone.

Kajal- Tell Vaishali not to worry and Devasena, you come with me.

They all go in different directions. Arun and Karan go towards Surdhan building. Priya and Ajay go towards the Swarna Haveli.

While walking,

Kajal- Did you check Maya Sabha completely?

Devsena- Yes, but they were not there.

Kajal- Did you check Army camp?

Devsena- Yeah, but...

Kajal- Did you check the weapons room?

Devsena- Yes

Kajal- Did you check the resting room?

Kajal- when you went towards the armoury, Did you see something out of place?

Devsena- No.., Yeah there was black iron door behind the panch pandav section. I remember not seeing it the last time we went there.

Kajal- Did you go inside?

Devsena- Nope, as I thought it might be some illusion.

Kajal- Come on, let's go there now.

They ran towards the army camp. They entered the armoury. The black door was still there. They managed to open it. It was dark inside.

Kajal- Let's take out some mashaal from the walls and then let's enter.

After taking two maashals out of the walls, They somehow managed to light it. Then they entered the room. They were amazed when they entered it. It just looked like the armoury, but was more organized. It had deadly and lethal weapons in it. They both started seeing the nameplates written below the weapons. Brahmastra, Brahmashir, Narayanastra etc where kept in order. Just as they finished the row, They arrived at another display which contained the things which Kajal had found in the room. Everything was there except the dice. They were the only ones which were missing.

Kajal- Devsena, look around the room and check.

Devsena- ok

Just as Devsena left, Kajal again started staring at the display. "Where could the dice go?" She thought. Suddenly she hear Devsena, screaming on top of her lungs. She ran towards Devsena.

Kajal-(coming near Devsena) What happened...

Then she saw the reason. Infront of Devsena, Deep and Yuvraj were lying unconscious and bloody. It was as if someone had tortured them very badly. Kajal went near them.

Kajal- Devsena, go and call other for help, I will wait here.

Devsena left from their quickly. Kajal kept the mashaal in the mashaal hanger on the wall and sat between Yuvraj and Deep. She felt dizzy. This time she could see the everyone's faces clearly. This time she was again in courtroom, but this she could see the women's face clearly. It was her. She was standing in the courtroom, her hairs dishevelled, and anger in her eyes. Her saree had slipped off her shoulder, but she stood their adamant, asking question to everyone present in the hall. All that she could get as the answer was silence. Then, someone from the Kaurav side also voiced her questions and supported her. It was none other then Yuvraj. Then she was greeted by a laughing voices. She focused on the voices. First face, she was of Yudh, Second was someone she did not recognize and third one shocked her. It was none other, Karan. Before she could say anything, she saw someone pleading to someone sitting on the throne. She was even more shocked by the face. It was none other then her dad, Chandra. Then the vision ended.

She opened her eyes. She was sweating very heavily. She looked at Deep and Yuvraj. She could feel compassion and pitied their condition. Suddenly she felt someone about to attack her from behind. It was not the feeling she would get when Arun was behind her. This feeling was something else. Just as she turned around, she almost freaked out. It was Chandra, his face covered in blood, his hands smeared with blood.

Kajal- Dad, you are here. We have been looking for you every where. Why are staring at me like this? Why do you have blood on your hands?

Chandra-(Smiling) You want to know the reason right? I have tortured Deep and Yuvraj, till they became unconscious. Now, NOW I WILL KILL YOU!

Saying this he caught her neck forcefully and started strangling her. Kajal had become helpless. She tried to push him and hit him, but nothing worked. Just as she was blacking out the grip loosened. She could finally breathe again. Then she saw what had happened. Arun had hit Chandra's head with a sword he took from armoury. She went and hugged Arun. By then everyone arrived in the room. Then Karan and Ajay took Deep and Yuvraj towards Swarna haveli. While Arun along with Devsena and Jaya tied Chandra's hands and legs and towards the reception area.

Why did Chandra attack his own daughter? What was the reason behind him attacking Deep and Yuvraj?
