Sarasvati Haveli
Vindhu – Anyways, do you want to read the book?
Kajal – yes, Kakaji.
Vindhu – then come with me.
Kajal – to where, kakaji
Vindhu – to the library, inside the complex.
Kajal – this area also has a library! But what about the othes?
Vindhu – Let's inform your dad and then let's go.
Kajal – sure.
After informing Chandra, they left the army camp and went towards the main building. After climbing the stairs, they went straight through the gate of the main building leading towards the door. Then they took a right turn and went towards a different building. This building was made out of white marble andwas in the shape of town hall. It was two story building. They went inside the building. First they came across a hall which had many seats. The seats were placed in a row and the rows were kept in increasing order in rectangle shaped. Infornt of the seats, there was a open space which had ludo board type of thing with long hexagonal shaped dice, which was kept on a raised platform with matresses on both the side of the ludo type board. A few centimetres away from that area, where stairs which lead to a big seat decorated with gold and precious gems. Next to the that seat, there were two more seats which made out precious materials. These looked like the area where the king used to sit in middle and his Teacher and Prime minister used to sit next to him. While looking as this setup, Kajal felt dizzy again but this time she didn't see anything. She felt that she heard someone screaming somewhere. The person was crying out for help. Somewhere down the passage from which they came to this hall. Suddenly she felt a hand on her shoulder. "What happened Kajal?"asked Vindhu. "Nothing Kakaji, I felt as if someone was calling out to me for help." Replied Kajal. "It's ok sometimes that happens to me also when I come through this to this hall. Anyways I will tell you about this hall later, let's go upstairs to the library which I have named Saraswati Haveli."
They climbed the stairs and arrived infront of a big door. It was made out eukalyptous wood and had intricate design. On the wall next to the door, there was a signboard made out of black marble, with Saraswati Haveli written in gold. "Why did you name this floor as Sarawati Haveli, Kakaji? What is the name of this entire building?" asked Kajal. "I named this floor as such because it contains books of knowledge. And the goddess of knowledge is Saraswati. And this floor is no less then a Haveli. And this building name is Surdhan." Replied Vindhu. "what is the meaning of Surdhan?"asked Kajal. "you get to know later. Now let's go inside the library and meet Vivek Payan, the Librarian."
When they went inside the room, Kajal was taken aback. There were books all around the place. Somewhere flying in the air, while somewhere kept in racks which were all around the place in a orderly manner. There was a second floor too, which consisted of balcony type standing area and from there were railings which were also used to keep books. There were many people sitting on the tables and chairs provided there. And those areas where the place was not occupied but the books were kept, something was picking them and keeping them in the racks. Therefore it looked like the books were flying.
Vindhu – Vivek! Where are you? Come here. I have bought someone with me. You might like her,
Vivek – (coming out of the wall which had a secret door behind them) Yeah, tell who have you bought.
He was young boy of the age 18-20. His features were sharp. He was lean but not skinny, and his hair was disarray. He had stylish spectacles on eyes. The clothes he wore were no less stylish then the spectacles. He was wearing a green shirt, with blue pants, and leather shoes.
Vindhu and Kajal – (both shocked) AAAA!
Vivek – calm down. It's just me.
VIndhu – one day, you will give heart attack, if you continue doing this.
Vivek – Oh calm down, Vindhu. Nothing like that will happen. By the way who is this beautiful girl? I guess she likes drawing, especially designing clothes.
Kajal – How did you guess that?
Vivek – By the looking at the clothes you are wearing. It looks like a Designer clothes which was recently designed and was on the front page of the magazine with the picture of it's creator.
Kajal – Have you read the article?
Vivek – Yes, it was a very well written. The person who migt have written the article has most inside knowledge about art, clothes designing and different cultures around the world.
Kajal – Do you know the name of the person who wrote the article?
Vivek – Yes, the author's name is Kajal Manjrekar, the official desingner of fashion brand Saieerekar.
Kajal – That's me.
Vivek – OMG, ma'am I am a fan of your brand and articles you write. I am really pleased to meet you.
Kajal – Me too. By the way don't call me ma'am, just call me Kajal. By the way how are books flying in here.
Vivek – Oh it is a new technique which I developed which will put the books back in its place. There are invisible robotic arms which collect the books from the desk and keep it back in its place. These hands can not be seen very easily. For that you require special spectacles.
Vindhi – This is the special quality of this boy. He is interested in reading books. Therefore I have given him the job to look after the library. In his free time, he does scientific experiments and upgrades the library with new technology.
There were many people in the library occupying every table and chair in the place.
Kajal – Wow that's nice. By the way, what was that room from where you came out.
Vivek – oh that's my experimental lab and It also contains the special area of this whole library.
Kajal – oh that's ,Nice.
Vindhu – Vivek, show her the special area of this whole library.
Vivek – Sure
They went through the book rack, through which Vivek had come out. The area in which they was looking more ancient then the library. But the area was well maintained. Towards the right, there was a room, which had some instruments in it, mainly used in scientific calculations. Towards the left, was a rack which contained different kinds of books made out of wood, were arranged in different racks, with different labels. In the centre, there was a pedestal made out of gold was erected. It top was flat and smooth and was in the shape of circle. It had three books kept next to eachother in a circle. Kajal went near them. She read the names of the books. Ramayana, Mahabharat, and Puranas. There was something in the name of Mahabharat. She was getting reminded of Krishna. A person named Krishna. But the face was not clear in her mind.
Vindhu – This is the special area of the entire library. Did you like?
Kajal – Yes, this is different and unique. I like this area more then anything else. By the way Vivek, can I get a copy of this book?
Vivek – Which book?
Kajal – Mahabharat. No actually, give me a copy of all the three books present on this pedestal.
Vivek – Sure, I will keep it ready. When do you want these?
Kajal – Whenever, you are free, then give it to me. I am in no hurry of getting the books.
Vivek – Sure.
Vindhu – Now, let me take you to your room, I mean let show the Swarna haveli.
Kajal – But what about the first floor hall?
Vindhu – I will tell you about that some other time. Now let's go to Swarna Haveli.
Kajal – Ok Kakaji.
