Ashram

Just as the group left on Garud's back, the group heard some leaves ruffling near by.

Deep- Priye Pritha, go inside and take care of Arjun.

Priya nods her head and goes in. Other get ready to fight off the threat. After sometime, the ruffling of the leaves stopped and Gahan with his brothers came out of the forest. Karan asked others to relax. Gahan stops his group just few centimetres away from the Ashram.

Gahan goes near Deep and bows down.

Gahan- Pranaam, Pitamah Pandu. In previous life, I was your son, Bheem's son from Rakshas Queen Hidimba. My name was Ghatotkach. I have come with my brothers to give security to you and your family.

Deep smiles and looks at others. Then Gahan goes near Hanumanji a shashtang danvat Pranaam to him. Hanumanji raises his arm in Akshay Mudra. Then all of them go inside the cottage, while Gahan's brothers surrounded the cottage.
Slowly it becomes dark. Priya was cooking dinner, while the Devlani brothers and Deep were talking with Gahan. Hanumanji was taking care of Arun, whose condition was deteriorating slowly.

Just then, One of Gahan's brother comes rushing inside.

Brother- An entire force is coming towards this cottage.

Gahan- Who is leading it?

Brother- (Hesitatingly) Devyani Desai.

Everyone understood who he was talking about. All the people look at Priya, who assures that she will take care of Arun. Others leave the cottage and take their defending positions.

The entire force just stop only few meter away from the cottage. Devyani along with a person go near the cottage. They stood infront of the entire group.

The Devlani brothers were surprised to see that person with Devyani. It was none other then Jai Magar, the womaniser whom Devyani and the brothers hated from the core. But what was he doing here with her?

Daangrah Hill

They reached foot of the hill in few minutes. But what surprised Kajal and the twins was the height of the hill. It was as tall as Vindhyachal. Or one face of lord Brahma, if it was enlarged.

Garud-*coughs*

Kajal and twins trance breaks.

Kajal- Now where do we go ?

Garud- Let's walk towards the foothills. The gate is just at the foot of the hill.

Trio- Ok

Then they start walking towards the foothills. After sometime, they reach near the gate. Suddenly Garud Dev stops them and takes his human form, Suparn. The trio got cofused by this act.

Kajal- Garud Dev, why did you take this avatar?

Garud- The guard is actually my relative. He is the direct descendent of brother, Arun. His name is Pankhajeet. If he sees me, then he would be eager to serve me and in this case you will get delayed. So I have this form.

Utkarsh- Are you sure he won't recognize you?

Garud- Yes, he won't now lets go.

The group went infront of the gate. They could see no one guarding the gate. They were confused as to what step to take next. Just then they heard a voice.

Voice- Why have you come here?

All of them looked around to locate the source of the voice.

Voice- Answer my question, why have you come here?

When the question was asked again, Suparn quickly turned his head towards the Banyan tree adjacent to the gate and slowly others also looked over there. But they could see no one, so they started walking towards the banyan tree. After sometime, Kajal only managed to reach the Banyan tree while others where stuck just few metres away from the tree. It was as if some invisible force was stopping them. Kajal realized this after sometime. She turned around and was about to go them when the voice spoke again, this time sounding a bit angry.

Voice- Why have you come here?

Kajal(Turns her head towards the tree and then speaks)- To get Sanjeevani booti from Saraswati Haveli which is at the top of this mountain.

Voice- Ok, but are you ready to give something in return to go there.

Kajal- (In full confidence) Yes, I am ready.

Voice- Then give me that thing which might not be precious to other, but it precious to you. Others might just look at it with interest but you hold it close to your heart. You might want throw it away in anger but you will again try find it once you cool down. It might be a symbol or something else.

Kajal looks at the ring in her hand. It fitted the description that the voice was giving. She didn't want to part with but she had to otherwise she won't be able to save her precious heart. She removed the ring with heavy heart and held in front of the banyan tree. Just then an eagle came down from the tree and swooped the ring away from her hand. Then it went back to the banyan tree. Kajal just stood there in shock. Her mind was still processing as to what just happened. The twins were shocked beyond relief. Only Suparn was smiling. Just then the voice started speaking.

Voice- I see this ring is really precious. Who has given this ring to you?

Kajal- My going to be husband, Arun Devlani. (She didn't want to reveal their actual identities)

Voice- you mean Gadivdhari Arjun, Devi Draupadi.

Kajal just looked in more shock.

Voice- Don't looked shocked Devi, I already know why have you come. You just need to answer this question and then you will be allowed to climb the hill.

Kajal- Ok

Voice- The question is- What is that which helps potter in creating a pot, iron smith in making a sword, gold smith in making golden jewellries and Lord Brahma in creating the world.

Kajal thinking" there are two answers for this question. One is Devi Shakti and other is creativity. Creativity sounds more suitable than Devi Shakti."

Kajal- Creativity. Since if a mind is creative, it can create anything and many things. It helps a potter in creating a pot, iron smith in making a sword, gold smith in making jewelleries, and Lord Brahma in creating the world.

Voice- Correct answer. You are allowed to go up the hill.

But Kajal just stood there looking at the Banyan tree with expressionless face.

Voice- What happened? I have allowed you to go up the hill.

Kajal (folding hands)- Whoever you are please accept my request. Can you please show yourself to me once. I just want to see how do you look, as your ancestor is the illustrious charioteer of Suryadev, Arun Dev?

Voice- As you wish.

Suddenly a blinding white spread around the Banyan tree. Everyone shielded their eyes. When it receded. A man who is 8 feet tall stood infront of her. He had wings attached to his back, and in place of mouth their was beak. His jet black, curly hairs came up to his shoulders. He was wearing clothes and jewellery similar to Garud Dev. His eyes were sharp as eagles. His body was muscular.

He was standing front of Kajal with her ring kept on his palm. He had amusing look on his face.

The person- My name is Pankhajeet. (Understanding Kajal's dilemma)You can take your ring back.

Kajal- Thank you. (Quickly pockets the ring) Can my friends also come with me? (pointing at the trio)

Pankhajeet- Sure. Anyways you might need their help.

Kajal- Why?

Pankhajeet- Since 5 people have already crossed this gate and I guess are waiting for you in the forest.

Kajal- Thank you for the information, Pankhajeet.

The group then goes through the gate. As they start climbing the hill, it starts getting dark. In the mean time, Kajal shares the information which she had got from Pankhajeet. As it was getting dark, they collect some wood and tie their handkerchief around it. Then somehow manage to light the makeshift mashaal. Using the mashaal to light the way, they just manage to climb till the summit of the hill. Just then, they see a camp.

Deven- We have been climbing this hill for so long. Let's go to the camp and ask for some water as I am feeling really thirsty.

Utkarsh- Me too.

Kajal- I don't know why but I am having a bad feeling about this. Let's just continue walking.

Suparn- I also agree with her.

Utkarsh- I don't think I will be able to walk anymore.

Deven- (Chimes in) Me too.

Kajal looks at Suparn with hopeful eyes. But he just shurgs his shoulder.

Kajal- Ok then let's go.

When they near the camp, no one is there.

Kajal- Is anyone there?

Suddenly someone attacks Deven from behind. Same thing happens with Utkarsh but he was alert. He manages to tackle the attacker. Three people go behind Suparn and Kajal. But Suparn tackles them all. Then one of the attackers face comes in light.

Kajal- (Horrified voice) Vikarn!

One of the attacker stops fighting with Suparn. So does everyone else. He looks at Kajal menancingly.

Vikarn- (in menancing voice) Oh so you recognized me by my past self, Bhabhishree. Good, but I am not the same Vikarn you knew.

Kajal- (questioningly) What do you mean?

Vikarn- My brother has commanded me to stop you from reaching the Sarawati Haveli and I will follow his command, even if I need to kill you.

Kajal understood that Vikarn was under the influence of his brother. But a doubt was still there in her mind.

Kajal- Why has he asked you to do so?

Vikarn- So that you don't come to know of the method to stop the destruction which he is planning.

Kajal became more clueless. By which method was Yudh going to start the destruction?
